His gaze snapped to my figure at once, eyes watching as I slowly made my way in.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you were in here.....I thought you were downstairs partying" I rushed all of my words.

No response came from him, he just stared blankly at him.

My gaze soon fell on the novel held in his hands.

"I... I came for the novel" I muttered quietly. So quiet, I doubted he could even make out my words.

"Come take it" He spoke in a calm voice.

My eyes fixed blankly on him, throat turning dry, as I remained unsure of what to do.

"I'm not gonna bite you" He chuckled, still, I remained where I stood.

His gaze remained fixed on my figure, eyes accessing me, and in a brief moment, I averted my gaze away from his.

Just why did he have to make this hard?

In a short while after a quite a long pause, he got out of bed, advancing towards my figure. Eyes staring at me intently, he then held the novel out.

Slowly reaching out to grab it, when suddenly he held my wrist, inching closer to me, gaze locked in mine.

"Are you scared?" He uttered in barely a whisper.

At every word he said, he drew closer, with my wrist still in his grip, his hold on it firm.

I turned my face away as his face drew closer to mine.

"Scared I might kiss you?" I heard the words tumble out of his mouth.

Swallowing hard, I finally took a look at him. The sight so beholding. His gaze came with a sparkle, locked with mine, while it just watched me with intent.

"I have to go"

At my utterance, I turned to leave, but he held me back, and in a second, his lips came crashing onto mine, taking me aback.

I froze at the touch, and at once, the sensation of the hold of his lips with mine, sent a feeling of warmth to my heart.

Pulling my body closer to his, he deepened the kiss, hands roaming all through my body. Our lips moved in sync, with my hands reaching up to grasp his face.

Not for once have I craved for a guy to kiss me like this. Since the last time Cameron and I shared a moment, all I wanted was to feel his lips on mine once more. Even though it just wasn't right.

My subconscious stumbled in, reminding me that the only reason he kissed me was because he wanted to get over Savannah.

But yet again, I ignored her.

I wanted nothing more than to feel his lips on mine.

His hands soon snaked around my waist, lifting me off the ground as he took me to his bed.

My palms found a way to his bare chest laying on its surface softly, while his kissed rained all over me.

His fingers wandered around with aim, resting on my hips, while he gripped it softly.

The touch of his lips on my skin caused a sharp gasp escaping my lips, his hot breath fanning against my chest.

I soon circled my arms around his neck, pushing my lips into his, while he turned over, hence getting me to a straddling position.

My fingers came tracing around around his skin slowly, eyes staring at how good his body looked.

At once, he pulled me closer, brushing his lips against mine while his hands intertwined with mine.

His lips moved to my neck, softly planting a kiss there.

At this point, his figure was on top of me, while I laid underneath him, my hands holding on.

It all felt good. All brought me warmth.

Yet, at that very moment of sensation, a thought soon made its way into my head, trying to ruin the joy I felt.

Did he even feel anything for me?

It really was hard to read.

What if he was faking all of the emotions. My subconscious said.

Oh, she really needs to be quiet.

Bringing his lips to mine, I ran my hands through his hair kissing him back.

Was it even possible for a guy to smell like coconut, mixed with strawberry and Vanilla? Cause he did.

And a very strong cologne was mixed with it too.

He feels nothing for you. My subconscious reminded me.

Taking a pause to think of it, I pondered.

What if it was true?

Of course it's true.

He felt nothing for me.

My eyes stared blankly as he resumed trailing kisses down my body and at once, I forced myself to speak.

"Cameron?" I breathed, my voice low.

"Yes?" He whispered back, taking a pause to stare into my eyes.

In his gaze rested calm, a lot of things I tried understanding.

"Do you....   I began, pausing mid-way. Was it really right to question him at this very moment? A moment blessed with such goodness.

"What am I to you?" I finally uttered, my eyes watching.

At once, he stopped kissing me, gaze looking into mine.

He stared on at me, saying nothing.

"What do you see me as?" I added.

His hands were still intertwined with mine, while his eyes stared on at my profile.

Why wasn't he saying anything? I needed him to speak. I wanted to hear his voice, I wanted him to say I meant something to him.

But I knew it wasn't gonna happen.

"Oh Nia, why do you have to ruin every sweet moment I share with you?" He uttered in a whisper.

His utterance brought heat to my chest, delight rushing to my gaze. It felt so good knowing that he considered the moment sweet.

His hot breath fanned against my neck as he brought his lips to my shoulder blade. Fingers soon found their way to my hips, as he grabbed onto them, squeezing warmly.

"You're beautiful" He whispered.

His lips were moving down my belly, and were just above my pelvis, when I pushed him off of me, sitting up immediately.

"What's wrong?" He questioned, eyes staring blankly at my figure, seemingly confused.

"You didn't answer my question, Cameron" I managed to say.

A weak sigh soon escaped his lips, as he looked away, while his hands ruffled through his hair.

"why do you keep doing this?" My voice croaked.

"You wanna make out with me at every chance you get, yet, you don't want us to be more than......

My words hitched in my throat as I gasped weakly, trying to keep myself calm. By then, the tears had filled my eyes already.

"Than what, Nia?" He spoke.

"What am I to you?" I asked immediately.

He fell silent for a moment, eyes looking at me.

"What do you think you are?" I heard him say.

I couldn't tell if he was awaiting an answer, or if it was just rhetorical.

"I've told you already, I'm not ready to be in a relationship"

What? When did he tell me that?

I'm pretty sure it was another girl he told. Probably one of those girls he comes home with.

"You're the one who came into my room" He stated adamantly.

"Yet you claim I keep coming to you...Why don't you stop me whenever I do?" He took a long pause, eyes boring into mine "Tell me to stop coming to you, tell me you don't want my lips against yours, while my hands graze your curves. Tell me you don't wanna feel me over you while I trail kisses down your body"

"But you can't, Nia..... Cause you yearn for me" He said.

"You've found my weak spot, and you use it to your advantage" I spoke quietly.

"Cameron, I don't wanna be just your...." I was beginning to speak, but he cut me off.

"We can't be anything more, Nia"

"Just like every other girl who has been here, I only seek one thing. To have a good time. Nothing more"

I stared at him wide eyed, not believing what he just said. A sharp gasp left my lips as soon as the words left his mouth, brain processing it.
His words knocked the air out of my lungs, while I backed away slowly.

His eyes stared into mine as he realised what he said.

"Nia, I didn't mean it that way" He uttered getting up from the bed, and moving closer to me.

"Get away from me!" I yelled, while the tears dropped from eyes.

"Don't you dare come close to me!" I cried.

Snatching my blouse from the bed, I hurried away walking out of the room, away from every everything that had to do with him.
