I was peacefully sleeping until I heard some familiar voices coming from outside of my bedroom. I checked the time and I overslept also late for work.. Great.. I also got A LOT of miscalls from my boss, I called him back and he immediately answered,

'WHY ARE YOU NOT YET HERE MS./MR./MX. L/N?!'

He shouted on the phone, it made my ears ache for a while but I just ignored it,

'I'm so so sorry sir! I was busy yesterday and I overslept and-!'

'I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR EXCUSES MS./MR. L/N! YOU'RE FIRED!!'

He ended the call without even saying anything else about my last paycheck neither my uniform.. I looked at my phone for a while. I sighed heavily and went to wherever the voices were coming from. I saw three of Daemos guys went into their castle-like place and Ava's bedroom doors were left open, I heard Lorlei and her friends' voices.. Those friends of Lorlei are b___hes..

Lorlei probably forgot to end the call with her and Ava since we heard Lorlei's friends talking shi_ about me and Ava,

'You know Ava isn't going to make an Instagram account, right?'

'For real? I can't believe you kept in contact with her and her sl_t sibling Y/n after high school.'

Steve and Kristen are THE worst.. Can't believe Lorlei is friends with them.

'Well it's an interesting story really, but they're-'

'Let me guess.. They don't have any friends still, right?'

'So they're probably a charity case for you, huh?'

'Well, I mean..'

Lorlei kept getting interrupted by Kristen and Steve,

'It's hard to imagine Ava and Y/n with Instagram accounts, they get like no followers from how boring they are.'

'I heard she was stupidly self-absorbed, and Y/n being selfish in high school, they both acted like they're above everyone else and were rude af.'

'Probably because of their dads' job.'

Wow, say the ones who follows my Instagram account. I didn't put any info about me, I made myself anonymous so no one can recognize me from high school, so they won't attack me. I post drawings of mine, and even songs and music I made.

I went inside of Ava's bedroom and ended the call, I looked over to Ava and rubbed her shoulder to comfort her..

'Ava, whaaaat are we doing again?'

I asked her, she just gave me a smrik and went to the living room. I followed behind her. Few minutes ago she told me to change my clothes into [insert your fav clothings] for some reason, she also changed into her sports bra I think and into her shorts..

Ava opened the window of the living room, 

'Uhh, Ava whaaat are we gonna dooo here..?'

'We're going to destroy Lorelei's stupid friends with an Instagram more popular than theirs!'

'Ava that's sort of a childish thing..'

'Come on, just do this ONE time N/n?'

I sighed and gave in since she'll ask me a million times about this,

'Fine, just this once.'

To be honest though, I don't like taking pictures of myself since I'm insecure..

Ava took out her phone and we started to pose, after three pictures we noticed Asch and Leif were behind us in the last two pictures. All of us screamed,

'DID YOU SEE THAT?!'

'SHE TOOK OUR BODIES INTO THAT THING!'

'WH-WHAT?!'

Ava shouted, Leif pointed at her,

'LOOK ASCH! SHE'S WEARING HER SOURCE OF POWER!'

Ava blushed red, I went in front of her trying to cover her from embarrassment,

'I thought I destroyed it! Where did she get another one?!'

'VICTORIA SECRET! Wait why am I telling you-'

'THAT SECRET SHALL BE MINE!'

'Ava, why.. And also, why are they hot but complete idiots..'

Noi, Pierce, and Rhys went out of the wall, this is a disaster already.

'What is going on in here?'

Rhys asked, like a father and the only smart out of them dum____s,

'AVA TOOK OUR BODIES INTI HER MAGIC SLAB! THAT'S ENOUGH REASON TO KILL HER!'

'why do they want to kill her instead of me? I'd rather let kill me though..'

'No.'

'At least the quiet one, Pierce, is reasonable, well.. Sometimes.'

I sighed, moving beside Ava,

'Okay, so I guess we have to explain to you guys what a picture is.'

Ava continued my sentence,

'A picture is a magical mirror that humans use to record our history with. We see it at anytime and play it back later, sometimes pictures move and we watch them they generally are harmless and most humans find them pleasing to look at.'

'Can I try?'

Ava shook her head,

'No! well, at least not right now, me and Y/n are engaged in a fierce picture battle with other humans who don't even care about our existence.'

Ava said while putting an arm around my shoulder, and I just stood in awkwardness,

'She's so powerful, they must not even care because they know she'll destroy them anyway.'

'Impressive.'

'uhh, yeeaah, something like that'

I said, looking to my side, Ava looked down,

'I'm just hoping this picture will gets us a thousand likes and then I can shove it in their stupid human faces..!'

'Ava, that's not how it works..'

I facepalmed, Ava rolled her eyes and posted the picture,

'What are likes?'

'Oh, they're like.. people's thoughts of you and it makes you feel better about- I mean! it helps you become more powerful and the more you have..!'

Ava lied, which was obvious but they still believed it, their eyes widened in excitement,

'Really now?'

'Yes, really.'

Ava responded, she looked at her phone to check if there were any likes,

'Huh, this isn't right. I posted this picture just 5 minutes ago I should have been famous by now!'

'Ava how many times do I have to tell you..'

'Ugh, waiting is to hard! Ugh! I give up, I'm gonna go get into my clothes..'

Ava left her phone on the table and went inside of her bedroom to change, while I just sat down on the couch since I'm comfortable with my clothes.. And probably too lazy to change. I scrolled through my Instagram on my phone and listened to the Daemos' conversation. Leif sighed,

'So much for threatening them to show us the human world.'

'I'll settle this!'

Asch walked to Ava's bedroom doors and started banging on them,

'Human sorcerer Ava! Open this door right now before I bust this door down and take that power away from you!'

Asch continued his.. "Threats",

'Idiots...'

I paid less attention on what's happening until I heard Leif hitting Ava's phone,

'LEIF! WHAT THE F__K ARE YOU DOING?!'

'Trying to get this me out of the magic slab!'

'STOP IT!! YOU'RE GOING TO DAMAGE THE PHO- MAGIC SLAB!'

Ava went out of her bedroom and told Asch to stop banging on her door she noticed Leif hitting her phone,

'What are you doing?!'

'PUNCHING THE OTHER ME UNTIL HE COMES OUT AND KNOWS WHO'S SUPERIOR!'

He continued hitting her phone, I jumped and grabbed Ava's phone to stop him from almost damaging it. I gave Ava her phone, she looked at Leif, and started overreacting,

'DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU COULD'VE DONE?! MY ENTIRE REPUTATION IS ON THE LINE AND- wait, a like?'

She looks at her phone,

'No way! you got five likes and I've gained three followers! This is amazing!'

I took out my phone and noticed she tagged my anonymous account in the last picture she posted, I shrugged it off since no one will notice it. I saw the picture of Leif which he accidentally posted got a bunch of likes in minutes!

'What does that mean?'

'Oh my Irene his picture already got twenty likes, Ava!'

I said in shock and excitement,

'REALLY?!'

Ava looked at her phone again and squealed,

'These 'likes' seem to please Ava and pet Y/n.'

'Did he just.. Call me.. Pet..? Oh well..'

Ava looked up from her phone,

'Leif, can I take another picture of you?'

'Huh? you want to make another me?'

Asch interrupted,

'Hold it sorceress Ava! Leif isn't doing anything until you both take us out to see the world! we went to the sacred mall and got the human clothes for nothing! and-!'

Before Asch could continue complaining, Ava took a picture of him, Asch got scared for a moment,

'Did Asch got any likes?'

'Ppfft, you gotta wait, Leif just got lucky, there is no way Asch woul-  HE GOT TWENTY ALREADY?! HOW?!'

'Good job Asch!'

Noi said to him, Asch was confused,

'What did I do?'

'Wait, leme check our picture'

Ava checked our picture she was.. Shedding a tear..?

'This is the best day ever! Woah, Leif got forty likes.'

'Heh, more than Asch'

Leif said, Asch was got annoyed,

'WHAT?!'

I checked the his picture and saw he's close to Leif,

'Asch is close behind thirty.'

'I can't put my finger on it but something about knowing more humans thinking of me more than Asch, does make me feel more powerful!'

The others were excited to try it now, since Leif said it made him feel "more powerful.

'R-Really? I wanna try it!'

'Me too.'

'Okay.'

'They.. Want to do this?'

'Wait..'

Ava thought about something which of course I can't read her mind like a psychic or mind reader, but it seems like she's thinking of posting more pictures of them.. Oh no. Ava smirked and thought aloud,

'The perfect crime'

'Oh great, she's going to do something stupid again isn't she..?'

Asch interrupted,

'Alright listen-!'

Befire he could continue Ava cut him off,

'Let us take pictures of you guys and we'll take all of you guys out to explore tomorrow, I will make ay excuses and we'll answer any questions you guys have.'

Ava blushed and looked down a bit,

'Plus, I'll even help get you guys into your human clothed if you need to..'

I leaned over to her and whispered,

'Don't drag me into that tomorrow A, and also bad idea.'
(nickname of Ava)

Ava was about to object me but Asch chimed in,

'You finally cane around prisoner, I knew you'd break under our reign.'

'On second thought, this might be a bad idea..'

I gave her the 'I told you so' look,

'We will grace you fellow humans and allow them to look upon us'

'I didn't understand what the f__k he just said..'

'I mean you didn't really give ME a choice but ok..'

'Upon the rising of the next sun, you will take us out!'

Asch shouted at the end, me and Ava just gave him a 'srsly?' look,

'Ugh, you'd be so much hotter if you didn't talk.'

'Even with his bratty and hot-headed attitude? I don't think so in my opinion.'

I whispered to Ava, hopefully the others didn't heard it. Asch made a firball and took Ava's statement literally,

'Well I think I'm hot enough.'

I facepalmed and sighed,

'That isn't what she meant.'
'Stoopid'

'Hey Asch let's make this even more of a challenge and make a deal, the who gets the most human likes gets to kill Ava and decide Y/n's fate!'

Ava and I looked at him in shocked,

'Wait.. WHAT?!'

'H-He meant that as a compliment! Daemos aren't good with words and uh-  we want to get your magic secrets of course!'

Rhys laughed nervously. Ava just wanted to take pictures of them already so she can show it off to Lore's (Lorelei's nickname) friends,

'Ugh, all of you just stand still and look pretty while N/n takes pictures of you guys!'

'Since when did I got involved..'

'Fine, but you better buy me F/f after this!'

Ava nodded and gave me her phone. I started to tell the Daemos what they needed to do, sometimes they hesitated but at least I got the pictures.

After a while me and Ava's shared Instagram account got a lot of followers and likes,

'We have two thousand three hundred thirty seven followers now.. This is insane! This is almost too much, am I ready to wield this kind of power? This kind of responsibility?'

'The f__k?'

'Enough talk, what is the amount of human likes for myself against Leif.?'

'Oh, yeah, I forgot, woah! Loooks like Asch is ahead of Leif by quite a bit.'

'As expected.'

'WHAT?! NO WAY!'

Leif shouted in disbelief, Asch was boasting about him winning,

'Looks like the honour of Ava's life and Y/n's fate is mine, Leif. Don't worry you just-'

Before Asch finishes, Leif picked me up and put me on his shoulder, I tried to get down but failed,

'This contest isn't over Asch! And I'm gonna make sure I win!'

I kept myself from screaming so that other people won't think I'm being kidnapped or something.. Leif jumped out of the window that Ava left opened and landed on the ground, he alerted some kids and ran to somewhere,

'Oh my goodness of pastries why me.. Ugh, at least Ava won't get killed..'

'LEIF! PUT ME DOWN YOU DUMB___!'

He didn't listened and just kept on running,

'Where the f__k is he going? just kill me here so I won't suffer slowly from embarrassment you ___hole!'
