At night, Ma was pacing the hall and Ami came into the hall drowsily to drink water and saw Ma there tensed and thinking about something.

Ma(thinking): Ami did you really plan this all out and are sure or is this just off the cuff situation?

Ami(a muscle twitched in her jaw): Yes, mom. I also care about them and won't let anything bad happen to them. Please trust me.

Ma(serious): I trust you Ami but, you told me that there is someone who is behind you all and even be dangerous. Look, I am not sure if I will allow Anu and Yash to go back.

Ami(assuring): Mom, I am just shooting the target in the dark and I don't know whether I am even right. If I am wrong then, we can't ever go back there and I don't want them to be sad and lose their friendship because of my intuition that doesn't even have a valid proof.

Ma(small smile): Are you sure that there will be no problem?

Ami (smiles): I am sure about that, and they are going to school and everyone will be there with them. So, don't worry.

Ma(smiles): You are right. So what are you going to do these three days at home?

Ami(thinking): I was thinking about decoding the song and linking all my past experiences and one big job which is pending.

Ma(confused): What is that?

Ami(takes a deep breath and smiles): My exams are in the next month and I have to study for them.

Ma(gets up): You need to and this time I can't help you so, you three have to prepare on your own.

Ami(sighs): I know that. Well, let's sleep.

Then, Ami and Ma go to their bedroom and they both drift into a conscious sleep. They didn't know what they were doing was even right or wrong. Ma was going on thinking about Anu and Yash and whether she took the right decision in case of her children. Ami had various thoughts floating in her minds. Why didn't I ask mom if what I am doing is correct or wrong? I don't know, every time I want to ask mom this question my mouth just stops its actions and I say something else and then I feel guilty about it. I am a no use person. Ami was feeling despondent. With all jumbled thoughts they drifted into a dreamy sleep.

In the morning,

Ami gets up at the noise of goodbyes in the bedroom and sees that Anu and Yash are about to leave for the school.

Ami(smiles and drowsily): Bye!

Anu(smiles): Are you sure? (Ami gives her an assuring smile): Well then, bye sleeping beauty.

With that Yash and Anu teleport themselves to the magical kingdom. They were feeling a bit different and lonely because there was someone missing beside them and they had never attended a school with that person. They all went to school together and if one would be absent the rest two of them would also take a leave (only if it's approved by Ma). Diva was walking sadly with her head down from the school entrance to the assembly garden and when she saw them her eyes started watering and her face lit up. She ran to them and engulfed Anu into a big hug.

Diva(hugging Anu): I thought you all would be never back and I would lose you all.

Anu(hugging her): I also thought the same thing but, eventually we changed our decisions and see we are here.

Yash(rolling his eyes): You girls are so dramatic.

Anu then hits Yash on his head and then, Henry, Drake and Nep approach them with huge smiles on their faces.

Nep(smiling): See I told you they will be back.

Henry (giving a high five to Yash): Right, Nep. I am glad you people changed your decision.

Anu(glowing): Yes, we are also glad that we returned.

Drake(wan): I am happy that you guys returned but, where is Ami?

Yash(looking at Anu): Well, she wants to quit the school and that's why she didn't return and mom, gave us the choice to return here or not. While Ami didn't want to return.

Drake(sad): Ok, It's all fine, after all, it's her decision.

Anu(beating Yash): Sorry guys, he was just joking. Ami would return, she is just not well and would take 3 days to cure that's it.

Nep(a little frustration in his voice): Yash this is something you can't do jokes on.

Yash(laughing): You all should have seen your faces. (Then seeing all serious expressions): Sorry.

Diva(turning to Anu): What happened to her?

Anu(explaining): She had a fever and cold. When she has it she can't sleep at night and that's why she is taking leave for 3 days.

Henry (thoughtful): Ok, tell her to take care.

Drake was standing there with an only worried expression on his face and the bello rang and everyone started assembling.

Meanwhile,

Ami's studying table was covered with all papers, paperclips, coloured pens and bulletin pins. She was decoding all the information what she got and writing them down then separating them and which ones she felt important, she attached them to the table with pins. She was even sticking sticky notes below her chair which she felt she could forget and even Yash and Anu can't see them.

From Ami's POV,

Where am I going wrong? I am looking at every detail in this song, but it just doesn't make sense and when I am relating something to the first line then the other lines don't match up. What should I do? I don't have much time, I only have 2 more days then, if I don't return I can lose everything. I am sure there is someone behind us and wants our magic, but why? Headmaster told that the evil powers would be out after be bind our magic. Wait, wait. I think I found out. The song, I went hurriedly back to my desk filled with papers and then I looked over the paper which had the song written on it in Anu's beautiful handwriting. The song could be an answer to the question, 'Who is the person who wants our powers when we bind them?' But, it's not the whole question I feel. Some parts are missing, it could be an enemy but, the song is mentioning friends and why would anyone in the school be behind our magical powers? Think, Ami, you need to get some answer. Ah, I know who is the one behind all of this, yes this might be the person and I am coming. I will not spare you. But, before taking any step, I think it's better to meet Headmaster before I have unfinished business with him. I will take permission from Ma for meeting him this night.

End of Ami's POV.

Ami then filed up all the papers and set them in her shelf, she didn't want Anu and Yash to see them. She was not herself sure where she was heading to and didn't want them also start thinking about it. She wanted to first clarify all of this by herself and with evidence, she wanted to show them everything. Ma was sleeping peacefully as it was afternoon and Ami's stomach growled. She had not kept track on time since so long. Ami went to the kitchen and served herself and kept thinking about what the new trails running in her mind.

In the evening,

Anu and Yash teleported themselves and then, found Ma and Ami sleeping peacefully on the bed and Ma was snoring lightly. Anu and Yash slowly tiptoed to the hall and rested themselves there, just then Ami came into the scene.

Ami(smiling): How was your day?

Anu(smiles): It was good and every Khru asked about you. How was your school visit?

Ami(bitting her inner cheek): It was fine. I only think the principal is a little strict but, otherwise, it was good. I saw their morning assembly and it was totally different from what we have but, I will adjust. So, overall settled. (How could you tell so many lies? Ami thought).

Anu(a little sullen): Well, good then. Because Drake, Henry and Diva are not fine, they were sad today all-day and whenever we talk we only talk about how you used to react in this situation or that and then again we become silent.

Ami(eyes glistening): Didn't you tell them I was not well?

Yash(blank): She told them that, but we all missed you and what about when they will know the truth.

Ami(explaining): Yash, that's why I gave myself and them 3 days and then, I will tell them the truth(biting her tongue): We are only friends for 2 months which doesn't make us best friends forever that's why it will not hurt them. So leave it.

Anu(looking down): Then, what about us? (Ami looked confused and Anu glared at her): What about us Ami, Yash and I, didn't we go to school together since childhood. Don't you feel anything about us? Ami, we both felt lonely when we went to school. It was like we were entering a whole new world again with no friends, no companion. We felt detached from the place where we went.

Ami(eyes shining with tears): Anu, I will not be there with you both all the time. So, I think it's a good start here.

Without another word, Ami went to the bedroom again, not wanting to hear Anu's answer, because that was making Ami more and more guilty and she had to be strong now. Ma was staring at her while lying on the bed and she approached Ma with a smile.

Ami(stuttering): Mom, can I go to the magical kingdom at 9:00 this night?

Ma(wide): But, why?

Ami(explaining): I want to meet Khru Anan, I have some questions which only he could answer. Please, mom, I will be back as soon as possible.

Ma(thinking): You can, but come back soon.

Ami(smiling): Thank you. (Then turns around and starts walking).

Ma(concerned voice): Ami, are you fine?

Ami(stops): Mom, Anu and Yash are home.

Then, she goes to the hall and Anu and Yash enter the bedroom. Anu tells everything that happened at the school and kept Ma busy for a whole 2 hours and then, they sat doing their homework. Henry had sent his notes of today's for Ami to read and copy them down, he had also sent her notes of all day which he collected from different sections with the help of his friends. Ami was now feeling more guilty and hated herself for hiding all this because this was the only way to get to the end of this mystery.

At 9:00 p.m.

Anu and Yash were watching television in the hall and Ami was watching them, from the passage and felt, it was the correct time to leave. Ma who was sitting beside them gave signalled her to leave. Ami tiptoed to the bedroom and then vanished. A cool breeze touched her warm cheeks and sent a shiver down her spine. She felt someone watching her but when she looked around no one was there to be seen. It felt the same way when she was talking to Ma the other day and she felt someone was listening to them in their house. She slowly dragged herself inside the hall and then, looked around from behind a pillar which she was hiding to see someone was there or not and then, tiptoed to the other pillar and then, hiding and jogging she went to the Headmaster's cabin. She felt an urge to knock the door before entering and she did, but not telling anything.

Headmaster(from inside): Come in, Ami.

Ami went wide and looked at the door curiously, is this a magical door too? With that thought, Ami entered silent and shut the door behind her.

Headmaster(smiles): How are you, Ami? Khru Dimitri told me that you are ill today and didn't attend the school?

Ami(staring): Headmaster with all due respect, if you are aware and know this much information, can I ask you something?

Headmaster(smiles): You can, I can tell that's why you came here.

Ami(narrowing eyes and blank): What are you hiding Khru?

Headmaster(only smiles): Ami hiding is an art which I am not good at.

Ami(folding her hands): Then, tell me Khru, why didn't you tell us about our magical things earlier when we asked about it?

Headmaster(smiles): Ami everything has its own time and you found everything when the time came.

Ami(thinking): Khru, then why did you call everyone when you found out that we all found our magical objects?

Headmaster(still smiles): Because it was the moment of time.

Ami(smirks): Did the time only, take Spark's magical object and her band away.

Headmaster's smile faded into a wide and haunted look on his face and his eyes were now travelling all around the room, except meeting Ami's eyes.

Ami(staring at Headmaster): Khru, I didn't read your thoughts and will not ever. But, I want to know the truth Khru. What are you hiding?

Headmaster(again looking at Ami): Ami, I told you all that there will be eight evil powers released when you bind your powers but, Ami it's not the complete truth. (Ami was confused and was listening carefully): Ami, there are evil powers already present in our world and there are eight of them which are dominating and if you eradicate these eight, the others will automatically fall in place. Ami, evil powers don't mean one person or one thing. When you all bind your powers, you all have to eradicate these evil powers because they will gain strength when you do so and can be even seen in your daily life.

Ami(confused): I understood this, but Khru what are these evil powers if they are not a person or not something?

Headmaster(smiles): Time is the biggest power Ami and every evil power will be eradicated from everywhere and everyone

Ami(not understanding and then changing the question): Sir, why did Spark lose her band and magical object?

Headmaster(smiles): Because you wished for it, am I right?

Ami(confused): I didn't understand Khru? I didn't even wish for it.

Headmaster(smiles): Ami, you are a Wimefa. There are four leaders to the world, but a Wimefa is a leader to all the three with her as Picks. Ami, you are the only one who can handle The Picks powers.

Ami(still not understanding but, tries to absorb it): So, Khru you mean, I am the one who decides who can be The Pick?

Headmaster(smiles): Yes, Ami, you are the one who decides who is The Pick, may it be Anu, Yash and Spark, all of them are chosen by you and you only have the right to again dismiss them.

Ami(absorbing): How can I do that? First, of all, I didn't even know what was magic even was and right on the first day I was told I was a Pick which I didn't know what it meant, and Khru you are telling me that I choose them and I didn't even know who was Spark even was?

Headmaster(explaining): Ami, who do you think always to be in your team with you?

Ami(answering): My family.

Headmaster(smiles): That's it because your family only has three of the magical and you were the Pick, so you choose, not you directly but, your thoughts and that's why Anu and Yash were also chosen as the Picks.

Ami(confused): But, did Spark become the Pick because when the objects appeared on us it should at the same time appear on Spark?

Headmaster(explaining): This is not necessary that when it will appear on you it will surely appear on the other person at the same time. Ami, remember that day you might have met Spark and you might have also thought about her as The Pick.

Ami(thinking): Khru, that day Drake told me about Spark that she will help us and I only wished for I should find the Pick early as possible and Spark should be helpful.

Headmaster(eyes shining): There it is, you thought about Spark as a person who can help you and that's why the band appeared on her because you had chosen her for your help and that's what the Pick does, helping the Wimefa for leading the world.

Ami(understanding): But, I never wanted to take away Spark's band from her.

Headmaster(calm): Ami, you didn't physically, but she might have done something wrong which made you think that she was not been suited for the Pick and that's why your magic worked in that way.

Ami(realising): Yes, she did a mistake and I think this all is now making sense, Khru. Khru one last thing, can I now choose whomever I want as the fourth Pick?

Headmaster(smiles): Ami, take time and choose The fourth Pick accurately. I think you are stuck right now, somewhere?

Ami(small smile): I will Khru, and yes I am stuck right now but, not in future. Time mends everything and opens the lock to everything. Am I right Khru?

Headmaster(smiles): Right! I hope you find your next worthy Pick, Ami.

Ami(smiles): Thank you Khru.

With that Ami turns around and makes her way towards the door, when she steps out again into the cold air, this time with full of confidence and with her questions answered with no more lust, a small appeared on her face and she wanted to shout happily and did it in her mind I found my Pick...........
