From Ami's POV

I didn't know where I am being taken to, but the feeling was just majestic and I didn't want to let it go so, I just obeyed to my eyes and closed them. I felt light hearted but, just then a voice was calling my name in the white mist of comfort. I ignored it the first time, but it kept calling my name again and again and this time it was speaking to me.

The voice (calm): Ami, how are you feeling my child?

I thought to answer it and I did: It's wonderful in here!

The voice (sooting): But, Ami remember if you stay here for long time you would have to stay here forever, you can't see your family or friends again.

I felt famished and I spoke again: No, no I want to go, I want to get out of here and I don't know how? Because this feeling is so good and it's so peaceful in here that I want to stay here forever.

The voice(calmer): Ami, what about world's peace then, if you stay here, the world out there needs you.

Ami(confused): Why would the world need a girl like me? There are millions of them out there who are more skilled and experienced than me, than why do they need me?

The voice(sooting): Because you are The Pick, Ami magic is the puissant logic in the world that mankind doesn't understand. That's why some use them for dark things and that's why magic selects The Righteous Picks for itself, so that it is conserved and protected.

Ami(now a little annoyed): But, why only me? And why only my family? My family is itself suffering from many problems especially Ma and when we are starting to move on, another thing emerges from nowhere.

The voice (explaining): Ami, problems doesn't come only with troubles they also come with solutions.

Ami(not agreeing): No, no you don't understand, when you see or suffer them yourself than you will get to know that problems are needed to solved, they are don't have any answers of their own.

The voice (meaningful): Yes, Ami you are true, but just give it a try, problems are the solutions themselves.

I didn't know what to do and I didn't have enough time left because, I heard another voice and this time I knew who was it.

End of Ami's POV.

Drake(afraid and was shaking Ami violently): Ami, get up! Please get up! (Sooting Ami's hair). I am sorry, I shouldn't have sent you down there, please get up. (A year rolled down his cheek and just then, Ami started moving slightly in pain). Gosh, you are alive. Ami, Ami can you hear me.

Ami(opening her eyes slowing and holding her head which was paining and the world was spinning): I am fine, just a little thirsty.

Drake(hurrying and taking out his wand): Bottle watero! (He casted the spell and a bottle of water appeared in his hand). Here you go.

Drake carefully lifted Ami's head so that so could drink water and made her do so and then carefully again placed her head on his lap.

Ami(groaning painfully): Drake, I am not feeling good. Is the world spinning?

Drake(worried): Gosh, Ami did you hit your head somewhere?

Ami(groaning): Yes, but I will tell you the whole story later.

Drake(worried): Fine! I will treat you, Anu told me some spells about brain damages. Just tell me where you feel pain when I touch it, Ok?

Ami(nodding): Ok!

Drake started touching her head, she made noises throughout the time, some were faint ones but, some were really terrible ones. Drake, was confused because he didn't understand which spell should be used because, her condition was getting worse and critical with every second passed. Ami was now closing her eyes and was feeling tired.

Drake(worried): No, no Ami don't sleep. Talk to me, tell me the story. What happened down there? (Patting Ami's cheeks so that Ami doesn't sleep but, it was not that effective, Ami was drifting into sleep slowly but, there was no time). No, Ami get up, see me. Ami, your family is waiting for you, you need to go to them, are you listening. (Ami was nodding but, she didn't have much energy left). Ami, listen I am taking you to Folisa Centre right now, just stay awake. Ami, say something.

Ami(trying to speak): No, no y--you can--can't take me there. We w--will be punished.

Drake(listening to her and then gone wide): Are you kidding me? You are going to die and you want me to do nothing, to hell with punishment. I am taking you.

Drake casted a quick 'WISPY' on Ami and carried her in his arms and kept talking to her, while walking fastly towards the castle.

Drake(walking fastly): Ami, tell me what happened? Did you find your magical object?

Ami(slowly and painfully): I--I solved the riddle. (breathing heavily) The answer was light of hope. (Smiling and started again to drift into sleep)

Drake(haunted): No, Ami. I want to hear the whole thing and this is an order!

Ami(smiling): I don't take orders.

Drake(running and smiling): I know, Ami doesn't take orders and in return gives punches.

Ami, smiles at him and then again her eyelids starts falling hard and Drake increases his pace and runs as fast as he could. He reaches the school door and bursts opens into the school with a loud sound which makes all the Khrus run down to the hall and they see a famished Drake and a badly wounded Ami. Ami's jeans which she wore was torn near her both the knees and her shirt a little bit scratched from the bottom. It was not visible in the moonlight but, when she came in, she was lying unconscious in Drake's arms. Without any further information, the headmaster, urgently took charge and magically made a stretcher appeared and then the stretcher took Ami to the center which was near the Recreational Ground.

A man of about 50 years old appeared from behind the doors of the Folisa centre and when he saw the patient, floating hurriedly took charge and made her float to the emergency room and told everyone to wait out of the centre.

The headmaster(turned to Drake): May I know what were you doing outside, this late in the night?

Drake, was not conscious and didn't listen what the headmaster had spoken. He was just looking at the doors of the Folisa centre and only one thought running in his mind, Ami, is fine, she is fine! Is she? No, no she will be fine, I know that. She should be fine, she can't die. No, no don't think that Drake, think positive she will be fine. Drake started pacing back and forth in front of the centre.

Headmaster (annoyed): Drake!

Drake(hearing Headmaster's stern voice comes back to reality): Y--Yes Khru.

Headmaster (loud and clear): WHAT WERE YOU TWO DOING OUT THIS LATE IN THE NIGHT?

Drake(gulped): Khru, can we talk about this after Ami's gets fine?

Headmaster (angry): Drake, don't test my patience, I want my answer now.

Drake (looking around and seeing other Khrus): Sir, can we talk somewhere private?

Headmaster (understanding but, angry): Right, but this better be a good reason.

Then, Drake and Headmaster head towards the Recreational Ground and stand at the far corner of the ground near the Wizard/Witch stands and Drake looks around and starts.

Drake(looking into Headmaster's eyes): Sir, you already know that they three are The Picks and so is Spark, so if they have to bind their energy they need to find their own magical objects and the other three have already found out theirs and so, this night Ami and I went to find her magical object which was in the forest and could only be found in the night, and.....

Headmaster (not believing): And so she had to pass three tests so that she could find her magical object and that's why she is like this?

Drake(astonished): How did you know sir? She didn't even tell me.

Headmaster (meaningful): Remember, I am your Headmaster. But, you shouldn't have gone in that forest alone, remember that forest was forbidden and we did this for your safety.

Drake (explaining): But, Khru Ami needed to find her magical object and...

Headmaster (angry): NO MORE ARGUMENTS! YOU BOTH WILL GET PUNISHMENT TOMORROW MORNING AFTER AMI GETS FINE AND MEET ME IN MY CABIN TOMORROW MORNING DURING ASSEMBLY. AM I CLEAR?

Drake(looking down): Yes Khru!

Headmaster (calming down a bit): Now I need to inform Ami's mother of what happened to her.

Drake(haunted): No, no please (begging) Don't tell Ami's mother, Ami will be fine in next half an hour. She had informed her mother that she will get home safe and to that's why she allowed her to come.

Headmaster (angry): No, she needs to know. I will and now itself.

Drake (joining hands infront of Khru): No, please. I will take the whole responsibility of what has happened to Ami but, please don't tell her.

Headmaster (explaining): Drake, a mother needs to know what her children are into, it's her right to know what happened to her child. (With that the headmaster started walking away).

Drake(looking down): So, Khru you want to let a mother suffer? (The Headmaster turned to Drake with a confused expression and Drake looked directly into Headmaster's eyes with a stern look on his face). Khru, I maybe an orphan, but I know when a mother hears a news like this about her child, she shatters into pieces and Ami's mother has gone through many dark times, even when Ami was in pain she talked about her mother, because the pain she felt was nothing compared what her mother has felt. I don't know what has she been through, but I definitely know she is only alive because of her children and if something happens to them, she can't bear that pain sir. She can't.

Headmaster (understanding and calming down): Drake, I know what you have been through and you also feel a lot of a pain. But, Ma needs to know about her daughter's condition.

Drake(red eyes with full of tears): NO, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND KHRU. NO YOU DON'T, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND A MOTHER GOES THROUGH IF SHE HEARS THAT HER CHILD IS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE, A MOTHER DOES EVERYTHING TO MAKE HER CHILD PROTECTED AND SECURE AND CAN EVEN RISK HER LIFE. AND IF YOU TELL THEM THAT YOUR CHILD IS FIGHTING FOR HIS/HER LIFE, SHE WILL BE ALIVE DEAD BODY. SHE WILL FEEL SUFFOCATED, SHE CAN'T EVEN BREATH INTO THE AIR LISTENING TO THE NEWS.

Khru Octave comes into the ground and tells them that Ami is now fine and will get up in next 15 minutes and Folisa Doc wanted to talk to the Headmaster.

Headmaster (turning to Drake): I feel you are right, Drake. But, I think Ami should inform her mother when the right time comes, I hope you will make her understand.

Drake(smiling): Sure sir, I will!

With that the three headed towards the Folisa centre and the doors of emergency room were wide open, and Ami was lying on the bed peacefully.

Doc(from back): She is sleeping and will get up in next 10 minutes.

Headmaster (nodding): Is there anything serious, doc?

Doc(looking at Ami): Some minor, head injuries like: due to beating with a rod and some minor injuries on the face. But, don't worry I have healed them, but only the head injuries will take a day time and it will be healed. This tonic should be given to her when she gets up, tomorrow morning, after lunch and then in the night before sleeping so that her head injuries get healed up. (Holding a tonic, which looked black in colour).

Headmaster (nodding and taking the tonic): Drake, it's your duty that she takes the tonic. (Handing the tonic to Drake).

Drake(looking at the tonic): Yes, sir!

Khru Octave (looking at Ami): But, where did she get herself into?

Headmaster (sensing the heat of the moment): Oh, I just told these both to get some plants which grow at night in the Assembly Garden and Ami, slipped and fell down in the thorny ones and that's how she got hurt.

Khru Octave (confused): But, Khru Doc mentioned that it's because someone hit her?

Headmaster (rolling his eyes): Octave, Doc mentioned that as an example he said 'Like,' but, eventually Ami just fell down hard on the ground.

Khru Octave (understanding): Oh, poor Ami.

Just then Ami started tilting in pain but, again went to her sleep. They were not aware that Ami loved her sleep very much and once she slept she would not get up for long hours.

Doc(looking at Ami): I think she is conscious, and now sleeping.

Headmaster (looking at Ami): Can you wake her up Doc, she needs to go home.

Doc, went near Ami, and shook her slightly but, it didn't work. She was still sleeping peacefully and now was also smiling. Doc shook her a little more with force and thud. Doc was lying on the ground flat, Ami kicked him and titled herself again and then again drifted into sleep.

Doc(getting up holding his back): What kind of a girl is she?

Khru Octave (holding his laugh): I think she is in deep sleep.

Headmaster (smiling): But, we need to send her to her home, her mother will be waiting.

Drake(holding his laugh): But, how?

Headmaster looks at Khru Octave with a knowing look and Khru Octave just rolls his eyes and frightened goes near Ami and tries to shake her up but, no use. He then shouts her name but no use. Then, he goes near Ami and shouts her name in her ears loud. This makes him earn a hard right slap, but eventually the plan worked and Ami wakes up with a yawn. And then, Ami opens her eyes and sees where she was and then hastily gets up and stands straight on the ground.

Headmaster (smiling): How do you feel Ami?

Ami(smiling): I am fine Khru.

Headmaster (gives a laugh): The Doc has helped you well, Ami.

Ami(looks at the Doc and smiles and heads towards him and then sticks her hand out, but the doc eventually runs away): Strange! (Then turns) Oh, hey Khru Octave. (Then the Khru also runs out). Strange!

Drake (laughs): I think you scared them.

Ami(confused): I don't understand, why will I scare them. Is there something on my face?

Headmaster (laughing): No, no. Now, Ami, did you find your magical object.

Ami(astonished): Khru, but how do you know?

Headmaster (laughs): I am the Headmaster, so I eventually know everything. Now, you didn't answer my question.

Ami(still confused): Yes, I did. (Then touches her head and goes haunted): Where is it, Drake did you take it?

Drake(wide): No, no I didn't. I was myself confused when you came back with nothing, I thought you didn't get your magical object.

Ami(searching): No, no I did. I completed the three tasks and I got my magical object and it was placed on my head before returning.

Headmaster (smiling): Ami, calm down. The HAT OF VISION is in you.

Ami(confused): In me? But, how?

Headmaster (smiles): It's how it works, the Hat will show you visions everytime on its own. A lightning hat symbol will appear on your forehead means that the hat will show you something which will be going to happen and also now you can judge and understand a person's characteristics and personality and what the person is thinking, all because of the Hat, you just need to concentrate. Remember, Concentrate!

Ami(smiles): Thank you, Khru.

Headmaster (smiles): Don't thank me, so soon. Tomorrow you both will have to serve your punishments and I want to talk to you, Drake, Anu, Yash and Spark tomorrow morning during the assembly.

Ami(gulped): Yes, Khru.

Headmaster (smiled): I think you should go now, your mother will be waiting and don't worry I didn't tell your mother anything, but Ami I hope you tell her soon. Mother needs to know everything.

Ami(smiling): Yes, Khru I will. I will surely tell her but, not now. I will tell her at the right moment. Khru, can we bring Henry with us also? Because we all are one team and he has also helped us. (Drake eyed her with this statement).

Headmaster (smiling): Yes, you can. The more the merrier.

Ami, then smiles and bids goodbye to Headmaster and she and Drake wakes out towards the Assembly Garden.

Ami(turns to Drake): Thank you, for saving my life.

Drake(smiles and jokes): Pardon me?

Ami(smiles): Thank you, for saving my life.

Drake(acts as if he didn't listen): Pardon me?

Ami(smiles): Thank--- (Then understands that Drake was teasing her). Thank you for myself because I found my hat. Bye!

Drake(confused): No, no you said thank you to me, not you.

Ami(laughs): So, you heard me, hah? That's why I joked, you Idiot. Bye!

Drake(laughs): Bye!

Then, Ami pops and leaves the magical kingdom and Drake goes to his sojourn.

At Ma's house,
Ma is lying on the couch in the living room and then sees Ami teleporting herself again and then, she rushes to her and engulfs Ami in a tight hug and Ami also hugs her mother and feels safe and happy in her mother's warm protective embrace.

Ma(smiles): Did you find your magical object?

Then Ami explains her everything, cutting the dangerous part and also her treatment part and at the end Ma feels very proud of her daughter and engulfs her into another hug.

Ma(smile): I think we should sleep.

Ami(smiles and gets up): Yes.............
