(My Au) (Quackity x Arin)
Quackity is a barista in this au and Arin is a customer.

Quackity POV:

I hated monday, you might be wondering why well when you work at a cafe and all of the rich business men comes in for a cup of coffee that's when shit gets real.

This is my second time yelling at a customer since for some reason they do not know what the word 'wait' is
Can't they see that I have another shit to do? Is not my fault that you are in a rushed so why take it out on me.

If you want coffee that badly get it in your own fucking office if you are going to be inpatient.

"I swear people these days" I groaned under my breath before wiping a wet cloth on my shirt since someone decided to wake up and throw coffee on me but thankfully god is on my side and it wasn't a hot coffee.

Curse that person maybe if you weren't on your phone while ordering I wouldn't got your order wrong word of advice don't fucking mumble next time stupid bitch!

I took a deep breath before going back to the cashier so I can continue my shitty job I heard the bell rang and I quickly putted on a fake smiled.

"Welcome to Jaiden's cafe how can I help you today" I said trying to sound as nice as possible even though I was still pissed off with the last customer.

I looked at the guy in front of me eye to eye and I was met with soft blue eyes that I just wanted to dive into..
" I'll have a hot rose merry tea please " he replied back with such a graceful tone.

I didn't realized that I was staring for so long that he needed to wave his hand in front of my face.

I let out a embarrassed cough before putting his order in on the machine.
"Sorry I uhm spaced out".. God I'm awkward.

He gave me a sweet smiled before handling me the cash for the drink
I badly wanted to say it was on the house but we know damm well I was to broke for that, every pennies counts in my house.

I took the cash from his hand then gave him back his change I pointed at a table and recommended that he should sit there he kindly accepted the offer and sat down on the table I recommended.

After my co worker finished his drink I snatched it from them wanting to serve him I gave my co worker a innocent smiled before walking to his table which had a beautiful view of the city.

" here's your drink I hope you enjoy it" I said trying to sound as sweet as possible, "thank you" he replied picking up the tea taking a sip out of it.

I wanted to stay but I know I shouldn't I already looked weird from watching him drink before I could walk away I heard his voice.

"What's your name? " he asked quietly. I felt my world do a 360 even though is such a basic question but he cared enough to ask.

I checked the cafe entrance making sure no one is about to walk in so I could take a small break and chat with this cute guy.

And thankfully it seemed like no one is coming in so I have a few to spare.
"You can call me Quackity" or yours
I know we just met but I wouldn't mind if you called me that.

"Nice to meet you I'm Arin" I gave him an awkward smiled not knowing how to reply to that.
"Well is nice meeting you I'm going to go back to work now" I said chickened out.

He gave me a small nod before scrolling on his phone I sadly made my way back to the counter waiting for customer cause I can't hold a conversation with anyone!

After a few minutes Arin was still here but probably not for long and I don't know if he's going to come back to this cafe or not so if I don't go over there and ask for his number I'm never going to get the chance with him.

Currently I'm assuming that he's listening to music since he had his headphones on and wasn't looking at his screen... I wonder what kind of artist he likes..

It was honestly cute how he was vibing to his music I couldn't help but stare even if it looks weird I just can't help it he looks so adorable.

' just want to have him all to myself'

Okay Quackity that's enough day dreaming for you they won't come true if you won't even do anything about it all I have to do is walk over to him and ask for his number and if I get rejected well at least I tried.

But the thought of waking up to him makes me want to die.. What if I get there and I just froze? What if I do something embarrassing...

So many things can go wrong and I'm not ready to face those issues.
Oh Arin how I wished you would come up to me and asked for my number would make my life way more easier.

But someone as good looking as him wouldn't want to ask for my number, not that I'm bad looking or anything is just that there's plenty of options for him plus I don't even know if he likes guys or not.

I took a deep breath and got a plate of chocolate muffin for him making my way over to his table. "hi again..
I just wanted to give you this..on the house!"

I said trying not to sound awkward you know what they say fake it till you make it so that's what I'm doing faking my confidence.

He looked at the muffin for a few seconds before looking at me. "Thank you.. That's uhm nice of you"

I mentally took a deep breath trying to prepare myself to ask for his number. "... Uhm I was wondering if I could.. Uh- have your number? "

I felt like dying from embarrassment. This can either go really good or I will get rejected so bad I have to move countries I felt my heart skip a beat when he can gave me his phone

"Put your number in.. " he doesn't have to say that twice cause i quickly took his phone putting my number in.

I gave his phone back trying to hide the smile that I knew was going to hurt if I didn't stop myself but I was definitely blushing since my face felt
Hot.

".. Give me a call when you're free then"  he suggested which I definitely was going to do and I hope maybe we could do more than calling in the future....

But never mind that for now all that matters that I will be able to talk to this hottie again and if I work my charm who knows where this might end up.

Jeez I sound so obsessed with the thought of us together but I can't help how I feel is just the way his blue eyes look at me like there staring straight through my soul.

"Well enjoy! I'll head back now"
I said before going to the employees bathroom so I could calm down the heat that was spreading through my body.

I washed my face feeling my body slowly cool down but I can still feel those eyes looking at me.. Oh how I'm love sick for you random hot stranger.

Finally after a few more seconds I left the bathroom while trying to not think about any more sinful thoughts about him.

But the thought of it makes me feel good in all kinds of ways but I could never admit that. By the time I went back to the counter he already left making me feel a little empty in the inside.

But my I quickly sparked up remembering that I will call him tonight which made me want to home even more.

I groaned knowing I had a few hours left until my shift ended I look at one of my co-worker who was walking up to me with a piece of paper in her hand.

"Hey Quackity a customer wanted to give you this" I looked at the paper that Tina was handing to me before taking it.

"Thank you Tina"

I said quietly before looking at the paper my face quickly going red after I realized who it was from.

But my horniness quickly turning into concerns.. After I read what was on the paper.. Which was my house address.
