The next day, as I entered the room, I found it emptier. There were no signs of the boys and a lot of the crew was missing. The people that actually were there were also packing and seemed to be preparing to leave.

- Olivia! – called Jefferson. He must have seen my confused face. – Get ready to leave. The boys are at a photoshoot right now. We're going there and when they finished they will do a small greeting to the international fans for this famous website. They asked for someone to do the subtitles in many languages, you need to come.

- What languages are involved? I don't know if I'll know how to subtitle languages I myself don't know. – I said worried.

- Don't worry. You are fluent in all of them.

We all got into the car and departed to the shoot location. It was an indoor shoot, which I was thankful for, since it was cold outside. It was still early in the morning, it wasn't even eight in the morning, but some of the members were already being photographed. I saw Aiden and Lucius already on the set, posing for the camera.

The crew all went to the dressing room of the boys, where they were getting their make-up done. Castiel and Oisin were actually sleeping on the chairs as the make-up artists did their make-up. I saw Ethanael and Theon on the couch also in deep sleep. They were not early morning people. I felt sorry for them, having to wake up so early just for the make-up and hair.

Since I didn't have much to do before leaving for the greeting, I decided to explore a bit the set and the behind of the scenes. I was curious to see how much work was put into creating the scenarios, how many people and props were needed.

Making sure I wasn't intruding or being a nonsense for the working people, I stepped into a room that was filled with clothes and random props everywhere. There were so many hangers with clothes that they created hallways between them in the middle of the room. I touched some of the fabrics of the clothes, thinking they were all so pretty, wondering how the stylist could ever choose. I especially liked one of the jackets, knowing it most likely would be a very expensive piece.

The walls had shelfs filled with the most aleatory things. I saw mugs, dolls, plants, glasses, hats, plastic fruits, etc. I wondered what the criteria was to bring all these stuff into this shoot. I was pretty sure that ninety per cent of these stuff wouldn't be used.

I got out of that room, wanting to go to the sets created. Aiden and Lucius were still using one of the sets, but there were three others around. I saw that Revel was already in a set, also exploring it. He was already handsomely dressed for the shoot, with his light brown hair pulled to the left, making it seem as if only his right side was shaved.

As I was approaching him, I caught him playing with a pair of glasses that were on the table and as he was putting them on, they slipped from his hands. With a panicking face he tried ineptly to grab them, but they fell to the ground and broke.

I stopped in my mark, open mouthed, as I watched him getting nervous and trying to fix it. He started looking around as he concealed the glasses in his pants' back pocket. I could tell he thought he would get in trouble for breaking the glasses. I sighted, reminded of Revel's ability to break everything he touched so easily. It seemed to be a running theme with him. I continued walking towards him, who finally noticed me and smiled nervously.

- Hi, Olivia. What's up?

I laughed because it was so visible he was uncomfortable. His jaw was tense, making his face seem even rectangular. He shoved his hands in his front pockets tensely and tried to make small talk.

- It's chilly today outside, isn't it? How's the weather in your country? Oh, I think the make-up artist is calling me. I have to go...

He was trying to escape, but I grabbed his arm so he wouldn't leave. No one had called, he was just scared I would find out about his mistake.

- I'll help you – I told him. – Come with me.

- Help me with what?

I just smiled knowingly to him, as I guided us into the props room. He walked beside me, even if uneasily. I made sure no one was listening when I turned to him in the room.

- I know you broke the glasses.

His guilty face made me pity him much more. He took the broken glasses of his pocket biting inside his cheek and with worried creases between his eyebrows.

- Last time they told me if I broke another prop, they wouldn't let me outside the room if not for shooting...

- I won't tell anyone – I assured him. – Here, look.

I turned my back to him so I could reach the shelf where another pair of glasses exactly equal to the ones he had broken laid. I took them and handed them to him.

- Don't break these ones! – I warned him in a serious but playful tone.

Revel had a relieved expression and a bright smile on his face again.

- Thank God! Thank you, Olivia! I thought I was in hot water for this!

- Give me the broken ones. We'll place them here and they'll think they broke on the way to the set.

As we walked back to the set, Revel kept thanking me, even after I told him time and time again that it was nothing.

- How did you know there was another pair?

- I was walking around this place. I just had been in the props room and seen the glasses when I walked to the set you were on and recognized the glasses.

- You recognized the glasses from all the other ones in that room? You must have a good memory. – he eulogized me.

I smiled up at him shyly.

- No need to suck up to me. I won't rat you out, Revel.

- I believe that, it was not the reason I was complimenting you. I meant it, not everyone would remember. And not everyone would help me like that.

- Well, if you stopped breaking stuff, you wouldn't need the help! – I teased. – But, seriously, it was nothing. I just couldn't... not help you, I guess.

- You're too kind.

Because he was smiling at me, I smiled back at him for a moment, before returning to lower my head in embarrassment.

- Oh, you also have dimples! – he noticed, pointing a finger to the left side of my side.

- One dimple – I corrected. – The one on my right side disappeared quite a few years ago.

- I have dimples too! See? – he gave me a big smile to prove it.

I laughed looking at his goofy smile.

- Of course I know, Revel! I saw you smiling before, and they are very evident. They suit you very well.

- Thank you. I feel I need to repay your help today.

- There is no need, believe me. – Seeing his determined look, I decided I should get away from his sight so he won't feel the need to compensate me in any way. – I'm actually going to work, they need me to translate a few pages of an article...

As I was walking away, Revel grabbed my arm, telling me to wait. A familiar voice interrupted Revel's pleadings for me to accept his repayment.

- Revel! I was looking for you! – it was Aiden who approached us. – You're up next.

- Aiden, good thing you're here. Hold on to her and don't let her go away before I finish my shoot, do you hear me?

- What? But Ravel, how can I...

- Just don't lose her from sight! – asked Revel as he was walking to the set to be photographed.

Aiden looked at me with a lost look, not understanding what was really happening. His red hair was pulled back sleekly for the shoot, making his green eyes more noticeable which was not good for my heart. He was a bit uneasy, not sure of how he could keep me there if needed.

- Aiden, don't listen to him. I'm going to work, and you go do what you want, okay?

But just like his friend had done, Aiden grabbed my arm, not letting me walk away. He removed his hand once I turned back to him, with a guilty expression on his handsome face.

- I'm sorry, Olivia. But I can't let you go, if I do Ravel is going to get mad at me – he explained. – Please, don't make it hard for me? – he begged, with the cutest face ever. He held is two hands in front of his face and closed his left eye, leaving the right one opened to see my reaction to his pleading.

- Okay... - I agreed reluctantly. I didn't want to cause any trouble for Aiden.

He immediately smiled and sighted in relief.

- Thank you, Olivia. What is the reason for this, anyway?

- It's nothing much, really. But Revel feels he needs to repay me for my help today even after I told him there was really no need.

- What help?

- Don't ask. Have him tell you, if he wants too. I'm sorry you're stuck with me for now, Aiden. Do you want to go to the dressing room and sleep? I won't run away, I promise.

- There's no need, Olivia. But thank you. We should do something to past the time – he frowned, thinking about what to do.

I also looked around, wondering what I could do to make him busy, entertained with something. I was feeling guilty that he was obligated to watch over me instead of just relaxing on his free time. Unfortunately, there was nothing we could play with that wouldn't jeopardize the shooting.

- I know! – he exclaimed, excitedly. – Let's do a stare contest. I won the last contest we did!

- Stare contest? – I sounded unsure. – You mean the one where we try not to blink while looking at someone?

- Have you played before?

- Not really – I answered frankly.

- Because you're a newbie, I'll go easy on you – Aiden said smugly.

I laughed, seeing his teasing but still wary smile at me. I could tell that he was feeling confident about himself. He was pretty sure he was going to win. I also knew that when he was too sure of himself, Aiden would end up losing most of the times.

- Have you heard of beginner's luck? – I teased him back, turning to him with a poised smile. – There's no need to go easy on me, I usually win the games I participate in.

- Okay, let's do it – he laughed. – I think we should sit here before we start. – We sat at two chairs that were near us, turning them towards each other. – Start when you want.

With a shadow of a smile still on my face, I grabbed with tooth and nails the confident I had to start this game, not letting myself fall apart now. I actually leaned in and looked Aiden square in the eyes.

- Start! – I said.

The most excruciating minutes of my life began. All I could do was deluding myself that this was a dream in order not to blush to death. I was looking Aiden in the eye, and he was looking back at me. This was the person I only dreamed someday I could meet, the person I wanted to support the most, the person I grew to like so much. And now I knew him in person. I was staring at him, not hiding myself like I would usually do. And he was looking at me too.

As I looked into his deep green eyes, I felt my heart race come up. The more time it passed, the more I was losing control of the blush creeping up my neck into my cheeks. Being so close to those two eyes made me forget how to breath and my heart was beating so loud I could feel it beat all over me. I was getting shy. Aiden kept looking at me and I was afraid he would see to my soul, that he would see how much he affected me.

I was about to quit and just look away, I couldn't take it anymore. But another voice, other than mine, interrupted our game.

- Are you guys playing the stare game? – it was Ethanael coming our way, with a sweet smile on his face.

Both me and Aiden looked in his direction.

- I also want to play! Who won?

I wondered who won the game, since we both looked at him. But then I also realized my eyes weren't hurting or dried up. I must have blinked before this. If so, Aiden should have seen me blink. I looked confused at him, but he was looking at the ground and scratching his head.

- I don't know. I guess we both lost.

- Let me play against Olivia! – ordered Ethanael, making Aiden getting out of the chair so he could seat on it. Aiden seemed kind of angry about it, but because Ethanael was asking he did as he said. He looked at me for a moment while getting up, but soon diverted his eyes and focused on Ethanael.

Ethanael's look for the shoot was a more messy one, so his hair had that perfect just-got-out-of-bed look. His white skin was glowing, not one imperfection in sight, and I kind of envied him for that. He smiled at me friendly.

– How good are you at this game?

- I'm terrible. It was the first time I played – I confessed. – I know you're really good, you're probably going to win.

- Don't give up before we start! – he asked, smiling kindly at me. – Do your best!

- Of course I'll do my best. I always do – I said, while getting more comfortable in my seat and looking at Ethanael, waiting for the game to start.

- Aiden, say when to start and monitor this game – requested Ethanael, also getting ready and looking at me in the eye.

- And... start! – shouted Aiden's voice.

- Should I tell you a maneuver to win this game? – offered Ethanael.

- I didn't know we could talk during this game – I stated, surprised, but never taking my eyes off of him.

- Of course we can. And that way we can try to distract our opponent... Oh, is that the director calling you, Olivia?

I smiled at him broadly.

- Nice try, but I'm not that easy. On the other hand, I just thought of a strategy of my own.

- Oh, really? Let's try it. But I warn you, I never lose this game. Unless someone cheats. – he added.

- I'm not a cheater, don't worry. Say, do you remember that dessert I bought you the other day?

- Yes.

- Wasn't it delicious?

- Yes, it was. I'll buy another one today.

- Me too. But first, I'm going to make my dinner. Today I think I'll have pork meat, grilled with lemon and salt, making the air smell so delicious, a spicy sauce on the side, with a bowl of rice fresh made, the steam still visible, some vegetables also grilled on the side. I'll let the flavor of the meat wrap the vegetables in my mouth, and I'll had just a bit of rice before I swallow. I think I'll have some Coca-Cola to drink after, a sweet bubbly liquid to help the food down... You blinked!

My plan worked flawless. By making Ethanael think of food, I made him hungry. The more I talked the more I could see him swallowing his saliva and open his mouth. Before I knew it, he blinked his left eye! He always did that when hungry.

- What!? No I didn't!

- Ha ha ha ha! – Aiden was all but laughs next to us, even bending in half and holding his stomach as he laughed his heart out. – You got defeated... because of food! Oh my God, that was incredible.

He was laughing so hard that the other members and staff came closer to see what happened.

- Why is Aiden about to pee himself? – asked a curious Lucius, already with a smile on his face because of Aiden's reaction.

- Luce! Ethanael just lost a stare game to Olivia! – excitedly said Aiden, holding one of Lucius's shoulders.

- What? – I heard Oisin's voice ask as he grew close. – How?

- It's not fair! – exclaimed Ethanael, throwing his arms in the air.

- She talked about food, making him hungry and he started blinking his left eye! – explained Aiden, still smiling big.

The three boys started laughing hard again, even Aiden though he laughed already so hard. Ethanael was huffy, but he couldn't help smiling when the three younger members were so happy.

I was smiling too, happy I gave them a reason to laugh, but also feeling sorry for Ethanael. He would probably never hear the end of this. But he was taking it well for now.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Revel waving at me, calling me to the prop's room we were in before. I left the boys alone and went to him, already knowing he was preparing something to repay me.

- Hey! I heard you beat Ethanael in a stare contest? That's amazing – he congratulated.

- Thank you. Look, Revel, there is no need...

- I know, I know – he interrupted. – is so I have my conscience a bit clear, okay? I feel we, as a group, already own you so much. Let me repay my own debt from this.

I sighted and agreed. I didn't want to give anyone a heavy conscience.

- I talked to the person in charge of the wardrobe and she told me I could choose anything from this rack! – he pointed to a group of clothes inside the prop's room. – I want you to pick anything you want.

- You mean, I can take a piece home? – I asked perplexed. These were some very nice clothes.

- Yes! Choose something, c'mon!

I was in equal measure excited and fearful. On one side, I would never get an opportunity to wear clothes as gorgeous as these, but on the other side, my worst nightmare was not fitting into them. Even more in front of someone. Just the thought made my heart jump to my throat, I almost wanted to puke. I did my best to pull it together and be thankful to Revel.

Turns out Revel was more excited than I was. He started scrambling through the clothes and took a few one out. He was choosing for me, putting the clothes in front of me and studying how they would look. I felt nervous under his look, but I knew he was good-willed. I actually smiled at him when he gave me a jacket he seemed to really like for me to try, with his eyes wide open in anticipation. I put the camouflage jacket on, a huge weight lifting off of me when it fit me, and he seemed to approve of it. I also liked it, it wasn't all lose, it was a belted jacket that didn't make me look too big or bigger than I already was.

- I'm grateful, Revel. I really like this jacket – I thanked him, as we walked away from the dressing room.

- It will be our little secret, okay? No one can now about the... - he looked around before whispering – accident with the glasses.

- Your secret is safe with me. But I think Aiden may have some questions – I warned him.

- I'll throw him off. If he asks, I'll just change the topic to something he likes and he'll forget.

- That's how you deal with him? – I laughed.

- Sometimes. And with most of them – he confessed.

Then the director's voice sounded loud and clear, followed by cheers from everyone.

- And that is a wrap!
