"as most as you probably know, i was on a little show called 13 reasons why." dylan spoke and the crowd erupted into screams. he tried to talk a couple times but the crowd was so loud and they wouldn't stop. after a few minutes he spoke again.

"on that show i worked with a very talented 10 year old. since then, i've watched her grow up and she's like a sister to me. me and her would always be singing on set and she's a very talented singer. so los angeles, please put your hands together for the very talented melanie barton!" dylan exclaims, pointing his hands in the direction that melanie was walking out onto the stage. the crowd went insane, you couldn't hear anything other than the screams.

the show melanie was preforming at was in los angeles which worked out since everyone that wanted to go to the show lived in los angeles or a surrounding town.

"what's up l.a!" melanie spoke into the microphone. the arena crew had given her one before she walked out. she scanned her crowd and on one side she saw alisha, brandon. timothy and justin. (jessica, justin, monty and bryce).

on the other side of the arena she saw maddy, miguel, tristan and mason. she smiled slightly knowing he showed up for her, but she would never admit that she was happy he was there.

she didn't know where her family was yet but she knew they were there.

"we actually have a song that we wrote together and we're gonna sing that for the first time tonight, but we always have a couple others that we're gonna sing for you guys." dylan explained and melanie nodded in agreement. he turned to melanie, waiting for her to introduce the song. he gave her a comforting head nod once he saw the nervous look on her face.

"this is my first song that i've ever co-written, and it's called 'are you bored yet!" melanie said, and the music started playing. her and dylan took turns singing and then they started singing together.

when the final chords of the song finished melanie felt so happy. she had never had this feeling before. it felt like she was rushing. the crowd immediately erupted in laughter and melanie's smile only grew wider.

after melanie helped the band sing some other songs. it was time for the last song of the night.

"alright guys, as much as i hate saying this, our night is almost over. this is the last song we'll be singing. you might know it from our show. we all want to say thank you for coming out with us tonight!" dylan explains as the chords of 'the night we met' begin to play.

melanie and dylan sang the whole song in unison. when the bridge started, dylan walked over to melanie, and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. she switched the microphone to her left hand so she could wrap her right arm around him.

"i just want to say something before we go. this girl right here is 17 years old." dylan began as he pointed at melanie. "17 years old and already this successful. it's actually motivating. i've known her since she was 10 years old and even then she was so talented. she has so much potential and i'm so happy she's finally getting the attention she deserves."

"dylan." melanie says. "you're gonna make me cry."

"come here." he calls her over and pulls her into a hug. "i love you little sis." when they were hugging, his head was leaning down and resting on her left shoulder, he had his microphone in his right hand which was wrapped around her so the microphone was right near his mouth so the crowd could hear his words.

"i love you." she smiles. they both pull away and share a look before turning to the crowd.

"thank you los angeles!!" the two yell. melanie blows kisses before running off stage with the band.
