As it starts raining, Sasha and Meredith walk to the door as Derek follows them, "I don't want to have this conversation again."
"Meredith. Sasha."
Sasha turns to him as Meredith unlocks the door, "You didn't sign the divorce papers. Fine. We get it. End of discussion."
He tries again, "Meredith, Sasha."
"What?!"
"Oh. I usually just say your names and then you two yell at me. I haven't thought past that point. I actually didn't have anything planned," Meredith and Sasha share a look before they both start pushing and shoving him until he's out the door, "What is that? Hey, stop it!"
"Seriously?! Seriously?" Meredith yells.
"Seriously?" Sasha asks once they get up to George's room where Izzie and George are both lying there.
George turns over, looking like he was asleep, "This is a very small bed."
Meredith and Sasha squeeze onto the bed, "He's a brain surgeon."
Izzie keeps talking about her night, "I look fantastic. I shaved my legs."
Sasha shakes her head, "He's a brain surgeon. How can he be so brainless?"
"Hello? Seriously."
"Seriously."
George pats their shoulders as he shushes them. Lightning strikes before the power goes out.

Next shift, Cristina is back, making that clear to Bailey. Addison comes to the door and asks the room, "Has anyone seen Dr. Shepherd this morning?"
Bailey shoots Sasha and Meredith a look before saying, "His name's on the OR board. He should be here somewhere."
As she leaves, Sasha whispers to Meredith, "Dr. Montgomery offered to mentor me. She said she expects great things from me and wants to teach me."
"What'd you say?"
"That I love her work, but I don't know if the personal stuff that's happened either including her or because of her would make for a good working or learning environment."
"Rounds, people," Bailey calls them.
Grabbing their white coats, they follow their resident.
¤¤¤¤
Getting to the first patient's room, Cristina presents, "Henry Lamott, age 42, is scheduled with Dr. Shepherd for a spinal implant to control the pain of his herniated disc, is allergic to all pain medication."
Hearing moans, Cristina looks at the tv, "Is that...?"
"Porn," His wife states.
"Porn?" Bailey asks before looking up, "As in porn?"
"All right," Alex kind of cheers, "What are we watching?"
Bailey dismisses him, "Karev, go stand in the hall. Uh, Mr. and Mrs. Lamott, I'm sure you are really nice people, and what you do in the privacy of your own-look, we can't have porn in here. This is a hospital."
Mr. Lamott tells her, "It's for my pain. My doc says it releases endorphins in the brain, and it helps keep my pain at a manageable level."
"Really?" George asks.
"George-hall," Bailey dismisses.
As he leaves, he pulls his coat tighter around him.
Izzie asks, "What is this?"
"Nasty, naughty nurses...um, four," His wife tells them.
The four female interns tilt their head to get a better look at the position the actors are in on the screen, "That does not look comfortable."
Meredith and Sasha say, "Trust me, it's not," They share a remembering look and a smirk from Sasha.
Bailey dismisses them with a snap, "Get in the hall."
¤¤¤¤
"O'Malley, Karev, you're in the pit today. Stevens, there's a cardiac patient waiting for you up on two. Yang, keep an eye on the Lamotts. I don't want any problems. Williams, you're with Shepherd-Addison Shepherd today. Special case brought in specialty for her. Go," Bailey assigns.
Sasha and Cristina start heading in the same way, "Wanna switch?"
She shakes her head, "Nope. You get to deal with this, yourself."
"What a great sister I have!" Sasha yells after her retreating sister.
"You're welcome!"
¤¤¤¤
Finding Addison, Sasha gets her attention, "Dr. Williams, reporting for duty."
Addison gives her a smile, "Well, let's go then. I want to see what you're made of."
Walking into the NICU, Addison hands her the chart, "Present."
"Korten North, born two months premature, in for a bowel resection due to Hirschsprung's disease. All vitals are looking in range and ready for surgery," She presents.
"Will he be okay? The nurses didn't give us very much information but said that you are one of the best, so will he be okay?" Mrs. North asks.
Addison nods, "There are some risks, but a bowel resection is more on the common side. He is non-critical at the moment and we will get in there as soon as we can. Dr. Williams will be by to check on you a little later."
They leave and start going over the surgical plan when the lights go out, "Damn. Follow me so we can talk to the Chief."
Sasha dutifully follows her and listens as she updates the Chief, "Lightning hit a substation we're running on backup generators. One of them's down. Richard, breathe."
"The only direct means of transporting patients from the ER to the OR isn't working. Don't tell me to breathe. I'll breathe if I wanna breathe," Chief tells her and walks away.
"Men," Addison sighs, shaking her head.
"That's why I also like women," Sasha jokes.
Addison snorts, "I'll have to try that sometime."
They laugh before following Richard to wear Bailey and Burke are watching maintenance open the elevator doors, "How bad is it?"
"Two interns and a GSW to the chest," Burke tells him, causing him to stress.
"Good air in. Bad air out," Addison supplies.
That causes the Chief to shoot her a look before sighing and turning away, "Come on, people. Get those doors open."
"I don't know if this question will improve your mood, but what two interns?" Sasha asks, the doors open a little to show Alex and George, "You don't want to know," She tells the Chief.
Bailey shoots her a small smile before laying down to look in, "What did you two do?"
"Nothing!" They shout, causing Sasha to snort.
She gets up so Burke can look in, "How's the patient?"
George's voice floats out, "He's not looking so good."
"Fun."

Sasha does a quick walk-through of the NICU, checking on most of the babies, but especially Korton, "How are we holding up?"
Mrs. North sighs, "Nervous. When is the lighting and everything going to get fixed? The lights keep on flashing and every time they do, the babies start crying."
"Our Chief is trying to figure that out right now, trust me. Due to the electricity problems, we're gonna have to push Korton's surgery back. Good news, he is 100% stable, and his condition is non-critical. I will be back later to check again, if anything happens, have the nurses paged either Dr. Montgomery-Shepherd or I," Sasha smiles before putting the chart down and leaving.
¤¤¤¤
Addison finds her charting, "How's the North baby?"
Sasha looks up at her, "Stable and okay to hold off on surgery. I'll continue to monitor him until then."
"Good. You'll make a fine surgeon. Maybe if I stick around, I'll be able to guide you to being a great one," Addison says.
"So, are you staying here then? Has Der-I mean, Dr. Shepherd not signed the divorce papers?" Sasha asks, acting like she doesn't know this.
Addison shakes her head, "Not that I know of. I'm still waiting for him to find out if he's signed them."
Sasha nods, "Okay. Uh, I've gotta-gotta go check on...things."
¤¤¤¤
The power comes back on, causing Sasha to let out a relieved sigh, "Oh, thank god."
"Dr. Williams, we've got a problem," A nurse calls her into the NICU.
Rushing into the NICU, Sasha hears Korton's monitors going haywire, "Damn it, somebody page Dr. Addison Shepherd! Let's prep to move. He just became critical."
Sasha and the nurses work together to prep Korton as the parent's keep shooting questions at them, "What's going on? Is he going to be okay? Oh, God, our baby!"
"Mr. and Mrs. North, we are doing everything we can. I need you both to stay calm and please give us space to work. Now, let's move, Dr. Shepherd will have to meet us in the OR."
They get to the OR and Sasha finish scrubbing right as Addison gets in there, "What happened?"
Sasha shakes her head, "I don't know. Something must have ruptured but we need to get in there now."
Addison nods, "Okay. Open him up and I'll talk you through the steps to fixing him."
"What? Me?" Sasha asks.
"Yes, you. Now, go."
She makes the first cut, before opening Korton all the way. Addison talks Sasha through the entire procedure, allowing her to perform her first ever solo surgery, well, being talked through it.
"That was incredible. I can't believe I just did that!" Sasha exclaims as she scrubs out.
"Believe it. I was right, you will make a great surgeon. Hopefully, I will get the chance to mold you some more," Addison tells her.
¤¤¤¤
Sasha bumps into Derek on her way out, "Oh, Dr. Shepherd, I'm sorry."
As she moves to leave, Derek blocks her path, "Sasha, wait."
"No. Look, I get it. You and Addison had a whole other life together. But you've told us that it's over yet you aren't closing that chapter. You are keeping it open while trying to turn the page and it's hurting everybody. Meredith needs you to decide. Addison needs you to decide. I need you to decide. Meredith and I have an amazing relationship and it was even better with you. So please, pick us. Or just pick in general. Mer and I will be at Joe's waiting for your decision. Don't make us wait too long," Sasha tells him before trying to leave again, "Also, your wife keeps offering to teach me. Be my mentor. So I don't know if she's opposed to leaving or not."
"Addison's offered to be your mentor? Did you accept?"
"If she stays, probably. If she doesn't, no."
¤¤¤¤
Sasha walks into Joe's bar, ringing the doorbell and getting Meredith, George, Izzie and Cristina, "No Derek?"
Meredith shakes her head. Sasha kisses her before standing up and letting Meredith rest her head on Sasha's chest, "He's not coming."
They see the look on their friend's face, "You don't think he's coming."
"He might come," Izzie shrugs.
"Yeah, you never know," Cristina adds.
"He's definitely coming," George says before getting kicked under the bar, "Ow! You want them doing tequila shots all night? I'll be the one cleaning up the vomit. Besides, I touched a heart today. Porny."
"Did you actually talk out porn to your patient?" Sasha asks her sister as Meredith takes another shot.
Cristina glares at her, "Shut up. What'd you do? Follow the she-devil?"
Sasha smirks, "I performed a bowel resection solo."
"No way! How? Why?" Izzie asks.
"The she-devil wants to mentor me and this was her way of seeing if I was worthy. She says I passed with flying colors."
Meredith groans, "Congratulations honey, but does that mean she's staying here?"
Sasha sighs, "Maybe. I don't know, we can't control Derek. Men suck."
