Sasha wakes up to just her and Meredith in bed, with Meredith looking at her, smiling, "Morning."
"Morning, creepy person," Sasha chuckles, "Why are you staring at me?"
"I missed waking up with you. It's nice."
"Come on, I'm hungry," Cristina interrupts their moment by pulling the covers off of them, "Please tell me you have time to whip up some pancakes or french toast?"
Looking at the alarm clock on the night stand, she nods, "Yeah, if you make me coffee."
Meredith sits up, grabbing some new clothes for the day, "Is it safe for you to drink coffee? Even with the...the babies?"
Sasha nods, following Cristina downstairs, "Yeah but only like a cup a day. So, I have one cup in the morning and then switch to tea."
The trio walk into the kitchen, seeing Izzie chugging a glass of water, "Wow. You and George were really going at it last night."
"What?" Izzie asks as Sasha goes to grab stuff for pancakes.
"Oh, the laughing, the drinking, the music- okay, you know what? Nobody, meaning me, needs to hear George's rendition of Sexy Back at three in the morning," Cristina tells the blonde, starting the coffee pot.
"And me!" Sasha points to herself, echoing her sister's statement.
Izzie laughs, "Yeah. You shoulda-you shoulda, just, you know, said something or-or..banged on the wall."
Sasha studies the blonde, "What are you acting so weird about?"
She spins around quickly, almost knocking a glass over, "Oh, nothing. Just...hungover."
"Please tell me you are not going to raise the twins in this youth hostel," Cristina looks to her sister.
"Well, ah, uh," Sasha and Meredith share a few looks, "We haven't really discussed our relationship yet, so I-"
"I need to use your bathroom," Alex saves them from stumbling through an answer.
"Why?" Sasha asks as passes her.
"Because O'Malley is puking in mine."
Sasha yawns slightly as she holds her hand out to Cristina for her coffee, "Yeah, Callie's probably the same way right now. I should call and check up on her."
Meredith asks him, "George is still here?"
"Yes," Izzie gulps, "Yes, but only because he was too drunk to drive home. You know, just totally impaired, like no-heavy-machinery drunk."
"What's her problem?" Alex asks as he steals the first piece of french toast, kissing Sasha's cheek in thanks.
Cristina tells him, "Still drunk."
Alex talks with his mouth full, "What are the sisters doing here?"
Meredith gestures to Cristina as she plates herself and Sasha up some food, "She's afraid she's ruining her engagement to Burke, so she's hiding from him."
"Not anymore. I have a plan."
"It's a bad plan," Sasha tells her.
"You don't even know the plan."
"I don't need to know the plan. It has to do with a relationship and you."
Cristina sticks her tongue out at Sasha before saying, "Burke doesn't want me to marry him just to appease him-"
Meredith and Sasha say together, "Which you are."
"So...we don't get married. Simple. We go back to the way it was. Be kind. Rewind. My plan has a name. How's that for a plan?" Cristina mocks her sister.
"Not the first one that you've had. Definitely not the best, but not bad."
Izzie grabs a scarf, "I gotta go. Gotta get to work. See you guys there," She freezes when she hears George puking closer, "Is that George? You said he was upstairs puking."
Alex rolls his eyes, shrugging as Sasha narrows her eyes at the blonde, "So now he's downstairs puking."
Sasha watches the interaction with George and Izzie, head tilted, "Something's going on."
"You're about to burn the food," Alex pulls her back, flipping a few of the french toast.

The interns, Bailey and Addison listen to Mark as he rounds on the pregnant woman Alex pulled from the ferry crash, "This is our computer-generated approximation of your original facial structure based on the 3-D CT scans we did. It's what you could look like after reconstructive surgery. Or you could look like this. Or this. You don't like them?"
"No, it's not that," She mumbles out, "It's..." She looks to Alex, "Um...how does this work exactly?"
Mark nods for Alex to answer, "He'll make an incision along you hairline, and then..."
"It's okay, I can take it."
"He'll literally pull your face off," Alex simplicities.
"It sounds a lot worse than it is," Mark reassures her in a calm tone as Sasha brings a hand to her belly, feeling a small movement, "Your face is extremely elastic, and pulling it down allows me to repair the bone fractures underneath without causing any scaring. And once you've healed, no one will ever know you had the surgery. I'm that good."
Sasha smiles, looking down at the significant bump she had been growing as the fluttering continues.
"He is. It's annoying," Addison agrees with Mark.
"The surgery won't affect my baby?" She asks, mainly looking at Alex.
"I'll be monitoring the baby throughout. Okay?"
Addison leaves as Alex steps forward while she asks, "Then I-I just have to pick one?" She sighs before asking Mark, "Do I have to pick one now?"
Mark continues to speak calmly, making the rate of fluttering increase, "Um, take a couple hours and think about it."
"Couple hours...yeah."
They start leaving the room, when the group runs into Webber, "Dr. Bailey."
"Chief," She greets, "Our Jane Doe is getting a new face today."
"Well, that's exciting," He nods before turning to Meredith, "How are you doing, Meredith? You didn't take too much time off after-"
"I'm fine. Really, sir," Meredith plasters on a smile, "I, uh, I think working is the best thing I can do."
Webber smiles, "Like mother, like daughter, huh?"
Mark get a look on his face, "Dr. Grey, what can you tell me about reconstructing the orbital floor?"
Meredith thinks for a second, "Uh, you can create a new base for the eye socket by harvesting bone from the skull."
"Dr. Bailey," Mark starts, "Dr. Grey will be scrubbing in on the Jane Doe surgery with Dr. Williams and I. Come on, you two. I'll show you how to do it without breaking the bone graft into a million pieces."
Webber smiles, "Congratulations Dr. Grey, Dr. Williams."
"Come on, people," Bailey takes the rest.
Sasha smiles, "This will be fun."

Finding Mark by himself, Sasha approaches the counter and steals the chart out of his hand so he turns to her, "Hey! Doll!"
Sasha sets the chart behind her, "How far along am I?"
"What?"
"How far along am I?" She says, a little slower.
"18 weeks, six days and about 12 hours," Mark tells her, reaching for the chart but failing, "Okay, what is this all about doll?"
She smiles, "Then I was right. Earlier, when you were talking to Jane Doe, I felt fluttering."
Mark leans on the counter, giving her a charming smile, "I do tend to make women's hearts fl-ow!"
Sasha had hit his arm, "No like that! Fluttering from the twins. They were moving around at the sound of your voice."
"Really?" Mark gets a genuine smile on his face as he brings his hands to cup the growing belly.
"Yeah. It was minor and internal, but it was fluttering. I-I-I've read about it, of course, but actually experiencing movement from the inside was the absolute....coolest thing ever," Sasha gushes, smiling.
"I can't wait to feel them. How long do you think it will be until I can feel movement?" Mark asks, still smiling.
Sasha gives him a sad smile, resting a hand on his cheek, "Not for another six weeks, sorry. But you'll be the first one to feel them. I'll make sure of it."
Mark kisses her cheek, "This is the best thing I've heard all day."

Sasha opens the door to one of the practice labs, "Hey, what's up?"
"Derek talked to Mark to try and get me off doing this bone harvest. Says Mark is using me to look good in front of Webber," Meredith sighs, hammering at the head.
"He probably is. However, that shouldn't affect your work. When you succeed, that's just one more procedure you've done right."
"And if I fail?" Meredith asks, setting the tools down.
"Then you get back up and help someone else. Mark won't let this go bad, not because of the Board and run for Chief, but because he's a surgeon with a God-complex and can't let anything go wrong."
Meredith smiles, kissing Sasha's cheek, "Thank you. Anything interesting or new with you?"
Sasha nods, "Yeah, I felt the babies move."
"What? When?"
"When Mark was talking to Jane Doe earlier. The sound of his voice really riled them up."
Meredith nods, "That's amazing. How are you feeling as your pregnancy advances?"
Sasha sighs, shrugging, "I don't know. Mark and I barely know each other and in a little over 20 weeks, we are gonna co-parent for the rest of our lives. I find something new about him everyday. Then, there's you and Derek."
She smiles, almost smirking, "What about Derek and I?"
"I'm trying to figure out how you both fit into all of this. Mark and I are gonna be the main parents. The one's who make decisions and care for them and all of the important stuff. But I don't expect Mark to stay single forever and I don't expect to stay in this weird state of an almost relationship with you and Derek. I want to move forward, I'm just waiting to make sure it's the right place."
Meredith listens, giving Sasha her full attention, "Well, I can't speak for Derek, but I wanna help any way I can. I didn't have the best example of a mother, but I know how to love you. And your kids will be 50% you so that's something."

Cristina asks the interns, minus George, at lunch about a patient, "Hey, I have Type 2 diabetes. Patient let it go, and the infection is in the bone. I have to find a fix or cut off the foot. Anyone? Anybody?"
Alex nods, "You get to cut off his foot? Cool."
"You think- no, not cool," Cristina shakes her head, "The patient was neglectful. He made a couple of bad calls. I mean, does that mean he has no hope? Does that mean he can't have a do over?"
Sasha sits forward in her chair, studying her sister, "Do you have an infection or fever? You could cut through bone and stuff but you are instead using this patient to fix your relationship with Burke?"
Meredith focuses back on practicing the harvest, "Operation Be Kind. Rewind. Not going so well?"
Izzie tells Cristina, "You need to fix it. Cause it seems like you guys have a pretty good thing, and good things are hard to come by, unlike really screwed up, complicated things. Which...seem to be freakin' everywhere."
Eating her fruit, Sasha tilts her head, "I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I agree with Stevens."
This causes the other interns to look at her in disbelief before Cristina shakes her head, "You know what? Things are great. I'm gonna get things back to the way we were. Watch me," Before leaving.
"Has Jane Doe picked a face?" Izzie sighs.
Alex shakes his head as Meredith answers, "No, not yet."
"How cool would that be? To get to pick your own face, just...disappear and start all over?"

Sasha finds Derek, sitting next to him on the couch in one of the lounges, "Meredith and I make mistakes. You make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. But we learn from them."
Derek nods, "She told you that I talked to Mark?"
"Yeah," Sasha says, laying back and putting her feet up on the table in front of them, "I know you're scared. We almost lost her and it didn't seem like she was fighting. Meredith...grew up a lot differently than we did. She processes things differently and needs different things than you and I do. We grew up being told that we can do anything and that we were the best. Meredith grew up being called ordinary. You haven't had the time to understand what she actually needs. She needs to do this harvest so that she can feel accomplished in the twisted views her mother left her with."
"You know, you're gonna be a great mother," Derek tells her, resting a hand on her belly, "I have no doubt or fear of that."
"I know," Sasha smirks, "And you are right about Mark. He probably is using her but he won't just let her fall. He'll be there to help walk her through the mistake and do better next time. You've just got to have a little more faith in him."
Derek snorts, "Yeah, that's the thing I'm gonna focus my energy on."
Sasha side-eyes him, "You do realize, in order for us to have a successful relationship, you'll have to get used to Mark again. He's staying in my life and our babies lives."
He nods, sighing, "Yeah, I know. Can I win back your favor before I try and get along with him?"
Smiling, Sasha gets an idea, "One of the steps to getting my favor and trust back is mending your relationship with Mark. He was your best friend at one point. Now, he's my baby daddy. You wanna earn the title of my boyfriend? Get the title of Mark Sloans' best friend back."

Sasha stands next to Meredith, across from Mark, in Jane Doe's surgery and looks up to see Derek and Webber watching from the observation deck, "Ready?"
"Osteotome and hammer," Meredith says, staring at them as well.
Mark guides Meredith, "All right, use the curved osteotome to elevate the external table. Gently."
She does so, causing Sasha to smile. Meredith works diligently to harvest the bone, Mark guiding her quietly when needed, "Beautiful."

Sasha lays down, spooned between Derek and Meredith as Derek runs a hand up and down her body.
"I let Mark use the memory of my mother to win points with the Chief. You were right," Meredith admits to Derek as she faces them, allowing Sasha to bury her face in her neck.
"I may have been wrong too. Mark's a good guy," Derek smiles, kissing the side of Sasha's head.
"I was right all along," Sasha jokes, laughing.
"You know what's weird?" Meredith asks after their laughter subsides, "It's exactly what she would have wanted."
Sasha sighs, "Dead mommy's proud?"
"Dead mommy's proud," Meredith says, "How was your interview?"
"It wasn't great. I was distracted," Derek admits.
"By what?" Sasha asks.
He shakes his head, "Nothing. I don't know.
Meredith rests her hand on Derek's over Sasha's bump before asking, "On a scale of one to ten, how bad is it?"
"Eight."
Sasha pulls him closer to her back, running her hand up and down his arm before turning her head slightly and kissing him, "How about now?"
He smiles, kissing her again, "Four," Before kissing Meredith, "Three."

AN: Sasha can tell something's going on with George and Izzie but she was focused on something else this chapter.
Also, Sasha will give birth in the first half or so of Season 4 so timeline wise, I don't know if where she's at pregnancy wise fits, but I'm gonna force it to.
QoC: how do you think Sasha will react to Alex and Ava growing closer?
Thank you for all of the votes and reads and comments!!!
