ELENA

Justin has already started to be occupied. He left at six in the morning to the office, presuming he has something he has to look through with Lisa before their meeting starts. This Lisa, I still have a strange feeling about her. I still have not confirmed why she lied to me in the first place. Maybe it's because she has been too nice after that incident.

"Morning, Mrs Harris." Oh, God. People will always be people.

I hear the security say, and I take a while before I could respond. How can I forget? I am to be the one and only Mrs Harris. I flesh him a smile as I hand him over the car keys.

"Morning, George." I say.

I head inside, and like most of the time. I have less work to do. The new designs will not be here until in three days. I could just sit at home and wait up but then I would have to face Bridget at Justin's house. If not Bridget, I will have to tell my dad about my engagement.

Time flies by fast, I spend it eating and trying to sketch some designs. I did fashion and design in college, that's what I do. So, sooner than later its 12 and I still have not seen Justin. I am already missing him yet he is a few steps away. How am I going to cope when he is in Paris for a week.

I stand up as I take my purse and leave the office. I pass slowly by Justin's office, hoping to have a glance of his look even if he might be swamped up with work. As i pass my the boardroom, my eyes land on him as he is leading the meeting and he even pauses. I wave him goodbye as he smiles and raises his hand out of his pockets. My man. Being the boss suits him more than anything.

I head to the restaurant for lunch with Rodge, whom I find there already. I was actually expecting to be here first since I am early, but I guess both early birds can catch the worm. We head straight to catching up.

"I can't say but to notice the diamond on your finger." Rodge says after a while as we are having lunch.

I giggle. "Justin proposed yesterday. Yesterday's emergency, turns out it was a plan all along." I say.

Yesterday! What I went to do to the hospital yesterday has me frozen for a while. Pregnancy results. As I am about to say something, Rodge interfers.

"Have you told your dad yet?" He asks something I do not want to talk about. I shake my head. He knows my dad. Everyone I grew up with knows my dad.

"I'll tell him, just not now. I want to enjoy this moment first before he rubs it on my face, you know." I let out a nervous giggle as I gulp all my juice. "Infact, I should be drinking some wine and champagne for as long as possible." I continue as I call out the waiter.

"No, don't. Please." Rodge quickly stops the waiter and I look at him shook. "Sorry, we'll have more juice instead." He instead tells the waiter.

"What was that? You can't celebrate with juice, Rodge. Or is that how you do things in Korea?" I tease as I laugh at the end.

"I just... it's too early to celebrate, you still have work. We both do." He makes me aware.

"Right." I say, accepting the juice from the waiter.

We talk about work after that. Well, I talk about work since Rodge is so concerned of what is actually my job since I have always wanted to be a fashion designer. The time even strikes 2pm.

"I could give you a ride to your workplace." Rodge suggests as we are outside.

"No, there's no need." I say, and the chauffeur comes driving my car as he parks it before me.

"Mrs Harris." The chauffeur says as he gives me the car keys.

I can see the disappointment on Rodge's face.

"Not like I was expecting less. You are the wife of the youngest billionaire in town." I hear Rodge say. How offensive, I think but manage to hide it.

"I'll see you around, Rodge." I let it slide as I flesh him a smile and get in the car.

I head straight to work and straight to my office as I have been wondering what Rodge meant by what he said. Not like he was expecting less? What the heck was that supposed to mean?

To my surprise, out of the anger I am feeling, as I rock into my office, I find Patricia sitting behind my office chair. My eyes widen up. What...

"Patricia." I say with an interrogative tone. "What are you doing here?" I continue as I giggle and take a sit.

"HI, Mrs Harris." Oh, geez. Tell me what I was not expecting. I roll my eyes of annoyance. "I came with my boss for our newest contract with Mr Harris, so thought I could come see you until I found your office empty." She continues.

"I'm from having lunch with Rodge." I release like it's something to be ashamed of. Patricia loudly clears her throat. "And could you believe it, he said something so very offensive." I continue, and I am not even aware that Patricia wants to see the ring and she pulls my hand while I talk.

"Girl, this is a real diamond. Too bad you couldn't tell your friends before it went all the way viral." Patricia whispers, scratching her noise.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm going to make sure I make it up to you guys. Everything was just so much, the plan out, the ring and the car!" I exclaim the last part, and she gasps.

"The car!" She screams as she stands up.

We head to the parking lot as fast as we can. I unlock the car and Prisilla sits in the driver's seat as she keeps on gasping and caressing almost every part of the car.

"And what is that?" She asks, referring to the big teddy bear in the driver's seat. "I thought you hate teddy bears." She continues, and I giggle nervously.

"That's Cocobeany. She came with the car. I didn't have a chance to hate it. Justin bought it." I utter, blushing at the end.

"So, when are you actually going to tell us about you and Mr Harris. You know." Patricia asks, her voice sounding a little bit low. "We drifted for a few months and we come back to only have you engaged just after our catching up to the one and only Justin Harris." She proceeds.

Okay, I feel bad.

"I'm sorry, guys. Guess I really owe it to you. I'll make it up to you guys." I assert as I caress her hands on the wheels softly and we both smile.

After a few minutes, Patricia leaves and I am back to being bored again. I sit in my office continuing my sketching, until I see Clara pass by.

"Clara!" I call out, and she comes back to attend my call. Her smile is so creepy at the end of the end when we are all tired and she still has the strength to smile.

"Yes, Miss Sam." Finally, someone who knows exactly what is going on here. But I was starting to get used to being called Mrs Harris. Anyways, it's fine.

"Is Mr Harris still occupied?" I ask.

"Yes, unfortunately the meeting is still yet to continue for another two hours." She says. "You can go home, I'm sure you need the rest. I'll tell Mr Harris your message." She continues.

"No, I'll wait. Thank you." I let her know. "We promised each other to leave together today." I whisper underneath my breath.

JUSTIN

5:45PM

I have just got out of a meeting. As I am about to leave, already feeling like flying because I am missing Elena and I was supposed to leave with her today. I notice the light on in her office. I slow down my pace as people head the same direction and I take a different one, to Elena's office.

I slowly open the door to get a glimpse of her sleeping tirelessly on the table. I chuckle as I walk in to approach her. As I am about to wake her up, her black beauty catches me in a nutshell. Her pinkish lips, her furrish eyebrows and eyelashes. Everyday it's like it's my first time seeing her. I also notice the sketches that look like she has been busy with. I was not aware that Elena can design. Lisa said nothing about it when talking about her file.

I slowly take out the book under her palms as I study through a drawing of barely a dress but made of silk fabric and the pattern defines pain, sorrow, hurt and it would go perfectly with the our theme this month that I am planning. For my mom, specifically.

"You're out." Elena wakes up, stretching herself, and I put her pamphlet down as I clear my throat. I feel like such a fool. I've been with Elena for more than a month but I have not been aware that she is such a beautiful designer.

"Yeah, and you waited." I reply, and she fleshes me a warming smile.

"I did." She asserts as she stands up and packs her things in her purse.

As she is busy packing her things, I meet her bump. Whoo! When did that happen? Is my wife growing fat on the time that she is supposed to be preparing herself and her body for our wedding and her wedding dress. By the way, I chuckle.

"Why are you laughing? And why are you looking at me like that?" She inquires concerned, but I just take her purse for her and we both head out.

We head in the parking lot, and I open the door for her to my car. She gets in as she looks recklessly tired and she even lays back. Oh my goodness, her bump keeps calling me to look at it and gasp again and again. I guess I thought Elena is one of those girls that would never let their bellies be that big. But I love her still anyways, even more.

"My car." She says as I am about to drive out.

"We can leave it here. Its safe, don't worry." I say.

"But Cocobeany is in there, he might be scared all alone in the dark." She utters, certainly looking worried about that teddy bear.

"Fine, Johny will take it to the house. We're going out for dinner, I'm sure you must be starving."

"Yes, food! But Cocobeany must go home. I don't want my baby to starve here all night." She whispers to herself as she relaxes back.

Am I going to be bared kids if teddy bears are already being called babies. The next thing she is going to say it's our baby. Oh, God. What have I done.

We get to the restaurant as we order food and chat about both our days. Elena tells me all about Patricia and how she feels like she has been shutting her friends out of her life since the past four months. I watch her as she digs into her food like a little cute pig.

"Why did you not tell me that you can design?" I ask after a long time glaring at her.

"Weren't you supposed to read that on my CV?" She asks back, and I chuckle. Okay, that's fair enough. "I'm just asking. I thought you knew, honestly." She continues.

"Lisa didn't mention." I say. "But you're a very good designer." I continue, and I receive a blushing smile from her.

We have dinner and then later on head back home. That is after we have bumped into a lot of people who know me and they keep on congratulating us. It feels like we are married already. I could get used to this already.

As she is sitting at her special preparation mirror, adding her lotion on her body from the shower, I am busy starring at her as I am sitting on the bed in my shorts and doing some work on my laptop. My room has actually turned into her room too.

"So, I was thinking." I say as I pause and she turns to me while applying her face mask. God, women will always be women! "Tomorrow we should go shopping. I mean, I still have to prepare some clothes for the trip." I continue, and I see a big smile appear on her face as she stands up and approaches me while looking at me smiling creepily like she is ought to eat me.

"Come here." She says as she pulls me by my chin and kisses me. I giggle.

ELENA

I wake up in the middle of the night not being able to sleep. I feel so much different. I have basically just ran out of sleep and hungry like I have not eaten all day, in the middle of the night. I look at Justin as I am even tired to wake up. I hate walking in the dark around the house. It has been freaking me out since I was a little girl.

I check the time and this is when I notice that I have got five missed calls from my dad. My phone was on silent. A text also follows. [Call me when you see this text] I sigh as I wake up and head downstairs.

I find Bridget in the kitchen, in the dark drinking some water. At first it startles me because i was not expecting it but I eventually get over it as I head to the grocery unit and take out a pack of muffins. Silently like I can not see her.

"Better enjoy your last days, pooky. The time is ticking, and soon you will be out of my hair. Justin's dad has arranged our wedding when Justin comes back. You can keep the ring and the car, Justin is mine." She says as she let's out an evil giggles, giving me shivers. "Tick, tock. Tick, tock." She continues as she leaves me wincing at her from her so childish behaviour.

"Crazy lunatic." I say to myself as I even grab a seat, atleast there is light from the porch shining in the kitchen so it's not that dark.

"I heard you!" Bridget yells. Okay, she's starting to creep me too.

7AM

"Morning, sleeping beauty." I am waken up by Justin kissing my forehead, and I stretch myself awake as I smile.

"Hey, papabear." I let out as I sit up straight. Justin has just gotten out of the shower.

"Well, you should get on to preparing yourself. We have got to leave early, I have got another meeting with Vincent after lunch." As he says, I groan as I cover myself with the blankets again and he giggles.

"Meetings, meetings, meetings." I sulk.

In the end I wake up and prepare myself. I get into my cream white twosuit dress that's a skirts at a short length with my white blouse. I really feel like wearing my fluffy comfortable pushins but then I've got a reputation to protect. I cannot walk beside Justin in pushins as he always dresses like he is going out to some massive event.

"I'll make sure I get back home right after the meeting, okay? Don't be this sad, you'll make me lose focus in the meeting." He sulks as we have arrived at the biggest mall in the city, and he is literally giving me puppy eyes.

He climbs off the car as I chuckle to myself. Its quite funny how he can act like such a baby and then when he steps down the car, it's like it's not him. As I am about to open the door, I get in contact with my stomach and i feel a sudden movement that has me freezing and my hands stuck on my stomach.

"Madam." My mind is reached out by Justin opening the door, and I let out a nervous giggle.

We get out the car as we head inside. Oh my goodness, walking with Justin feels like I am a queen of England or something. We do some shopping for him, and I must admit that he has good taste alone by himself since I only get a say every now and then.

"I think this one will match well will Lisa's red dress for the last dinner when closing the deal." I hear Justin say as she lifts up a mauve trews shirt and I spill the shake I am having of shook.

"Sorry, what?" I ask.

"It's just business baby, nothing to be worried about." I flesh him the slightest smile as I look away.

"Lisa this, Lisa that." I murmur underneath my breath. "Ouch!" I release as I try to stand up, even holding back my try as I sit back down and Justin hurriedly approaches me.

"I think I should take you home, you must be tired. You were tossing and turning all night." Justin suggests, and out of the unexpected pain I am feeling right now i nod as he even helps me stand up.

We head out after paying for everything, and it is at this moment that we bump into Rodge in the parking lot. I try by all means to pretend like I did not see him but he approaches us. Oh, God.

"Hey, Elena. Mr Harris." Rodge passes his greetings as he shakes hands with Justin, and I look away.

"Rodge." I let out sounding so bored. "Um...baby, this is Rodge. The one I've once told you about." I continue for the sake of not being a bad person. They shake hands yet again.

"Um...we should get going. Remember you've got that meeting. It was nice seeing you Rodge." I utter as I get in the car, leaving both Justin and Rodge surprised outside and Justin joins me after a few minutes.

"What was that all about?" Justin asks. "You sound far from how you sounded when you were talking with him over the phone." Justin continues, and I sigh.

"I don't want to talk about it." I say. Even though eventually, I do want to talk about it. "He wanted to give me a lift after our lunch and I declined it cause I had taken my car. Then when he saw my car he went, 'not like I was expecting less, you are married to the youngest billionaire...' like really!" I yell, and Justin laughs.

"I'm sure he didn't mean it in a bad way, baby." Justin says, and I give him the dare look. "Okay, maybe he did then. He should apologise. Will that be okay?" He continues.

"Maybe." I reply as I now even have my arms folded before my chest.

My phone goes off and it is my dad. My mood changes immediately as I shake while swiping to answer the call.

"Dad." I answer.

"Sweatheart, oh. I never thought I would hear your voice soon." My dad let's out, really sounding delighted. "When are you coming home? You have been at Patricia's for too long. You know I hate it when you overstay your visit at people's places. People can pretend. Please come home." My dad sounds sincere, even tears form in my eyes from the marriage I am hiding from him.

"I'll be back soon, dad." I try to sound less obvious that I feel like crying.

"When is soon my child?" He interrogates.

"Um...after tomorrow." I reply.

My dad then ends the call and I lay back as tears shade down my face. Justin holds my hand softly, caressing it and I flesh him a weak smile.

"Why don't you tell him?" He asks.

"You don't get it. My dad believes that most rich people run drug businesses to be rich. He believes that people should know each other for atleast two years before they get married. He is just so complicated." I laugh hideously at the end.

"I got you baby, he'll come around." He consoles me.

I wish.
