Once I got back to my apartment, I immediately printed the tickets, before I could get sidetracked. Minnie called as the second ticket was landing in the paper tray. "Did you print the tickets?" "Yeah," I replied, tucking them in my purse. "Good. I found a couple Rays shirts in my brother's closet, so I'm gonna swing by your place and give you one, ok?"

"Sure, whatever," I said, quoting Kevin. "Alright, well, I'm headed out the door right now. See you soon, sister!" Minnie said. The phone clicked before I could say goodbye. I peered at the clock in the kitchen. 3:57. Less than two hours before game time.

I had just settled on the couch, watching MLB Network (trying to cram in some info about the game), when my intercom buzzed. "Ma'am, you have a visitor in the lobby. Minnie Hoss." "Send her up," I told the guy. She was there in 60 seconds flat, peering through my peephole, endlessly ringing the doorbell.

"Coming!" I shouted, unlocking the deadbolt. The door flew open. A soaked Minnie stood at the threshold, clutching a few soggy Rays shirts. "Hey." I said. She glared at me in return. "Towel, please?" I hustled to the bathroom and handed her one. Once she was dry (enough), we turned our attention to the Rays shirts.

"So we have a white one with a TB on it, a blue Longoria #3, and a... Zobrist? #18?" I shrugged. "Never heard of him." Minnie laid the three shirts out on my bed, smoothing out the wrinkles. "Umm, I guess I'll just go with the Longoria one." I told her, wishing there was a Kiermaier one.

I grabbed the shirt off the bed and quickly slipped it on. It fit almost perfectly. Minnie squealed. "It looks so good on you!" I spun around, striking silly poses as I modeled. "You should totally wear that one! I'll wear the Zobrist one so we'll match!" She danced around my room, still on her caffeine high. This might be a long night.
