So, I don't normally do this but I have a plot to take Sofia's amulet. I just feel like Cedric's scheme is taking too long so I'm going to get the amulet myself by first doing something I hate. Have a sleepover with her. This better be worth it. When it was around Sofia's bedtime, I knocked on her door.

"Who is it?" Sofia asked

I walked in, "It's me. I was thinking that we could have a sleepover tonight."

"I thought you hated sleepovers."

"Oh, I was in the mood for one and Cedric didn't want to have one so I came to you. So...what do you say?"

"Sure, (Y/N). I'd love to have a sleepover."

"Great!"

Sofia and I made a tent out of blankets and pillows and started the sleepover. We played cards for a while before saying we should go to bed. Sofia wasn't tired but I needed her asleep. When she was, however, I was debating whether I should take the amulet. She's my sister. I couldn't do that to her. No! I must! I want my revenge! This debate continued until morning. Finally, I took it from her. I left and went to my room. Now that I have the amulet, Cedric and I can finally take over the kingdom!

At last! But then I stupidly put the amulet on. I was only trying to test its powers. Well, it worked. It made a princess in all black and white into the room. Who is she? She was called Princess Ivy. She complimented my nightgown, my hair, and my wand which I usually keep on me for protection. I offered a tour of the castle just to be nice which she agreed to. So, I changed into my apprentice clothes which I really need to update, and took her on the tour. Just as we got to the docks, Sofia found us. Not good.

"(Y/N)!" Sofia called

"Uh-oh!" I didn't expect her to wake up so soon

"You did take my amulet."

"I just wanted a turn, Sofia. It's only fair. And look, it gave me a princess," That was a massive lie.

"It what?"

"Sofia, this is Princess Ivy. Ivy, this is my sister, Sofia."

"Well, aren't you just a burst of lavender radiance? You two may be the most perfect pair of princesses I've ever met. Please join us, Princess Sofia. I am certain we will all be best friends," Ivy said

"(Y/N)? Are you in some kind of trouble?" Sofia asked

"No. Unless you tell Roland on me," I said

"That's not what I mean," Sofia dragged me away from Ivy, "The amulet only summons a princess when you're in real trouble."

"Well, I just put it on to see what its powers were and it gave me one."

"But that's not how the amulet works. It only summons princesses when you really need help. And they don't stick around so you can be best friends. The amulet sends them right back where they came from."

"Well, maybe the amulet was being extra nice to me because I never had a turn before!"

"I just want my amulet, okay, (Y/N)? Now."

"All right, all right. You don't have to get so upset," I took it off

Well, this plan went up in flames. I tried to give it back but a black and white butterfly took it from me and gave it to Ivy!

"Give that back!" Sofia said

Ivy laughed, "I don't think so."

"Ivy, what are you doing?" I asked

"This amulet brought me here. So I need to make sure it never sends me back," Ivy said

"I don't understand, back where?"

"A dreadful little island where I was tragically imprisoned for ten terrible years. But now that this amulet has freed me, I can take over Enchancia and finally have a kingdom of my very own. I grew up in a kingdom far away where all was black and white, and sometimes gray. My charms were the greatest ever seen. Yet still, they made my older sister queen. So I hatched a plot to bring her down, show them who should wear the crown. They caught me and without a trial marooned me on a desert isle.'

'All I sought was a kingdom of my own. Where I could rule from a black and white throne and my dear sister will finally be outshone. The spotlight should be mine and mine alone. That's why I need a kingdom of my own. And now your jewel, I hate to say, must be destroyed so I can stay.'

'But someone has to pay the price, so I can have my two-tone paradise. I'll make your land a kingdom of my own, where I will rule from a black and white throne and everybody will finally be outshone. The spotlight will be mine and mine alone after your dear daddy's overthrown. I've got some nerve, but I deserve a kingdom of my very own.

After her song, she made a dragonfly appear explaining that that's how she plans to take over the kingdom. A guard walked past. Sofia called out to him telling him that Ivy had her amulet. But the dragonfly attacked him and he fell to the floor. The dragonfly made him forget what happened from the moment he woke up this morning. She's going to make everyone forget who they are!

And plans to destroy Sofia's amulet! This isn't good. Well, we also worked out how she got here in the first place! The amulet cursed me for taking it! Of course! That's how the amulet works. You do something good, you get a power, you do something bad, you get cursed! But we went to Cedric about this so we can know more about the amulet. We ran in to see him picking up some cards.

"Mr. Cedric, we need your help!" Sofia said

"You wouldn't be here if you didn't, would you?" Cedric asked

"An evil princess took my amulet."

"Your amulet was stolen? How?"

"Well, first, (Y/N) stole it."

"Borrowed it," I corrected

"You had the amulet too?" Cedric asked me

"And then the amulet cursed her by summoning Princess Ivy," Sofia continued.

"Who's going to destroy it," I finished

"Unless we can find a way to stop her."

"First of all, there is no need to worry. The Amulet of Avalor is virtually indestructible," Cedric said smiling

"Oh, good," Sofia said releaved

"Except..." Cedric went to his book.

"Except what?"

"The Amulet of Avalor is magically protected and cannot be destroyed by ordinary means. Only the flame of Everburn the Elder Dragon is hot enough to melt it."

"Who's Everburn the Elder Dragon?"

"He is the oldest of the talking dragons who live atop the Blazing Palisades. But luckily, no one else knows about him except us."

I'm not too sure about that because I heard something. It was Ivy's butterflies! They heard what Cedric said! They flew off and I picked a little.

"What are we going to do now?" I asked shaking Cedric out of panic

"Stop shaking me for starters," Cedric said getting out of my grip, "Right. If you want to stop Princess Ivy, you dear one, must find a way to break the curse that the amulet put on you."

"Me? Why me?"

"You are the one who's cursed, are you not?"

"Oh!"

"What does she need to do?" Sofia asked

"Well, dear (Y/N) stole the amulet from you. So it seems to me that if dear (Y/N) returned the amulet to you, the curse would be broken, now, wouldn't it?" Cedric asked

"But how am I supposed to get the amulet from Princess Ivy? She's probably halfway to the Blazing Palisades by now," I said

"Then you have to go after her," Sofia told me

"Me? Oh, I can't go to fiery cliffs full of dragons and chase down an evil princess! Who do you think I am?" I asked

"Oh, let's see. The person who caused the problem in the first place?" Cedric said

"But I'm not even a proper sorceress yet! I'm just your apprentice! I can't do this!"

"You got us into this mess, (Y/N). And you're the only one who can get us out," Sofia said

I was quiet

"I'm afraid she's right," Cedric said

"All right. I'll do it. But I'm going to need help," I said

"I'll go with you," Sofia said as we left Cedric's workshop

"And so shall I. We cannot let Ivy have my-our-your amulet," Cedric said.

We went outside to see Ivy take our coach and fly away. Well, there's more in the back but they're very old. We went there to find one that was still somewhat intact. We did but we had no one to drive it. Sofia offered to do it since Cedric didn't know how. How can he know the Waltz but not how to fly a coach. Sofia found some instructions and followed them to get us in the air. Right. Time to go to the Palisades and fix this mess.
