"I wanna be you so bad but I don't even know you"

I looked at my watch to see what time it is.

"We are early today, aren't we?" Yeji said as we were walking towards the school gate.

"Yeah, I guess. It's just 8:10 now"

As we were talking, a pink Porsche passed by us. It stopped a few inches ahead of us. This was the first time to see a car like that in our campus. I wonder if it's a new student. Just a few moments later, the car's passenger door opened. A beautiful girl stepped out of it wearing a blue crop top paired with white straight jeans. She was tall and had dark long hair.

She turned towards us and started walking towards me.

"Long time no see, Kang Minsoo" she said and smiled.

Huh? How does she know me? I was surprised by her approach.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" I asked.

"It's me, Jung Eunjoo" she replied.

Eunjoo? That seems familiar. Did I ever meet her? I looked at her furrowing my brows in confusion.

She was about to say something but before that, I heard someone call my name from behind so I turned around to see who it was.

It was Hyunjin.

"Baby, why are you still standing here? The professor is gonna come early to the class" he said and held my hand. He didn't bat an eye around us and just kept walking as he took my hand. I could practically feel everyone staring at us through my peripheral vision.

"Look. It's Hyunjin and Minsoo"
"I think they are dating"

"Didn't he like kiss her when Jaemin was proposing her?"
"Hyunjin and Minsoo? Wow. They sure are brave to do that in public"
"I feel bad for Jaemin"
"Hyunjin must have had a hole in his head to do that"

I heard people badmouthing our relationship.

"Don't mind them, honey" Hyunjin smiled.

I smiled back as a response. I don't really feel hurt by their words. They don't matter to me anyways.

"Jaemin just started coming to campus and he already has to see all this. Hyunjin sure got some guts to bag  his opponent's girl" the same girl said.

I had enough with people bringing up Jaemin.

"Yah.. seriously? Even Jaemin doesn't have a problem with it. Why do you feel so sorry for him? Is he your boyfriend? Friend? No, right?" I shouted at her as I was about to throw my hands.

"Honey, let's not mind them" Hyunjin tried to calm me down by holding my arms behind me.

"Wow. How arrogant?!" She said and gave me a dirty look.

"What did you say? Don't give me that dirty look- wahhh... Say whatever you wanna say about me but if you bring up Jaemin and Hyunjin once more with that filthy mouth of yours, I'll cut your tongue off" I shouted louder and throw my hands and tried to kick but only kicked the air as Hyunjin lifted me up by my waist from behind and took me to the opposite direction.

"Did you look at her? She said something ridiculous and called me arrogant" I said angrily.

"They are just jobless for saying such things about someone else's relationship" he said to calm me down. He tugged my hair behind my ear as the wind kept blowing my hair to other side.

"Wait. Is that Hyunjin and Minsoo? Oh my god! I thought she was with Jaemin" a boy said as he was passing by with his friends.

"She must be easy" one of them said.

Tsk. Here they go, making ugly comments about something they don't even happen to know.

"Hyunjin, let's go-"

I got cut off as I saw Hyunjin planting a big ass punch on the guy's face.

I gasped as I saw his nose bleeding from the punch.

"Say one more thing about my girlfriend and you will die" Hyunjin warned him.

I've never seen Hyunjin this aggressive. I knew he got into a lot of fist fights but this was the first time I'm ever seeing someone bleed so much with just one punch. I looked at his face and it looked different. Different than the usual. Angrier. Tight grip. His wrist waiting to plant another punch.

He looked.... scary.

The boy and his friends ran away cursing at Hyunjin but he didn't seem to mind. It was as if he only cared about that one sentence the boy said earlier. Hyunjin loosened his grip and walked towards me.

"Don't worry. That won't say awful things anymore" he said as he smiled.

I smiled back at him but I was concerned of his anger issues.

He has always been bad at controlling his anger. Not when it came to the people close to him but he never tried to control it with people he wasn't close to. And I knew that's something he needs to work on.

"Wow. Interesting" I heard a girl say. I turned my head to see who it was.

The new girl.
