Naruto stumbled the rest of the way out of the building clutching his aching head, passing the still knocked out bodies of anbu on the way. The smell of blood was everywhere. More so than usual. Even after he got outside in effort to escape it, the sweet aroma of blood and flesh invaded his nose.

'Why is this happening...' his thoughts were interrupted by another voice.
'Destroy everything..'
Naruto looked around frantically. "Who's there!"
'Flesh...blood...flesh...flesh..blood..... NO! Nonononono!!!' He stumbled into a nearby valley that lead to a populated part of the village if your were to go all the way through. There was a sharp pain in his back as it collided with the wall and he slid down. Naruto's legs were numb and another presence kept invading his mind. Making his head feel like it was gonna explode.

A group of about four villagers heard groaning and headed into the alley to check it out only to see the blond slumped over on the wall.
"Heh, must've had too much to drink" one of them said and chuckled.
"We should take him with us."

"Why?" Another asked in confusion.

"Dude look at him, he's gorgeous! He'd sell for a ton!"

At that moment Naruto's head snapped up and met the leaders eyes with dark red with slits. The thug in the front backed up a bit in surprise. "The hell?!"

"Flesh..." the blonde was now salivating to the others disgust.

"This guys weird. Let's hurry guys." They started to move closer but a menacing growl filled their ears and the boy on the ground was now on top of the man closest to him. Biting his neck. "AHHG- what the fuck!!!" He tried his best to push the strong boy off to no eval. And his buddies were about to attempt to drag the blonde off by force when he bit the chunk of flesh on the guys neck off and jumped onto another with an animalistic yell, biting the shoulder this time. The leader of the gang was now writhing in agony on the floor while trying to stop his bleeding neck. Naruto quickly moved to the next. In one slash from his claws his opponents abdomen opened up. His intestines spewed onto the floor in pinkish brown coils. As he looked down in disbelief the air took the aroma of a butcher shop.
Pretty soon, they were all incapacitated and unable to move. The four were bleeding out on the alleyway floor with Naruto standing above them covered in four peoples worth of blood.
There were chunks of flesh in his sharp teeth, and even more blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

Meanwhile, back in the tower Sasuke was trying to get some answers out of Danzo. "The hell do you mean Itachi led us here!" He yelled in the old mans face even though the answer wasn't too hard for the Uchiha to figure out.

"Let's just say the fox boy will be out of your hands soon." That creepy grin was on his face again and Sasuke was debating on weather or not to kill him right here and now. But Juugo placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We should go get him.."

Sasuke grit his teeth and gave his best Uchiha glare. "I'm coming back for you". With that, he motioned the others to follow him out of the building.

They got outside in time to see Naruto walk out of an alleyway with bloody clothes, trying to rub something off his mouth. "Naruto what the hell! What happened"

"It's ok...it's not mine.." Naruto assumed the raven was worried about the blood. And he was right, that comment seemed to put him at ease.

"Well still, what did you do?..." Sasuke asked hesitantly as if he was afraid to hear the answer. And Suigetsu and Karin stayed quiet for once.

Naruto's eyes widened in realization and he wordlessly held a shaking blood-covered hand up to the alley in which he came out of.

"Karin, Suigetsu, check it out." He ordered, and the two hurried over. "Juugo, wait with him." Sasuke headed after them and gasped at what he saw. Gruesomely attacked bodies lay on the floor in a huge pile of blood. "What the hell..."
'Naruto couldn't have done this..'

One of the hearts had been cleaved from the body. The arteries, now drained of their life fluid, stuck out like so many rubber hoses. Some of the skin had been peeled back by sharp claws. The ribs cage had been cracked and pried open, the whiteness of the bone shone out in the sea of flesh. The face was now the greyish colour of a cadaver and the Sasuke couldn't help but wonder how much of the procedure the victim had lived through.

"These two are alive" Karin stated "not for much longer though. "As for the other two...well it's pretty obvious..."

'Naruto would be crushed if he finds out he killed four guys..'
"Can you help them?"

"If we get the attention of nearby villagers they should be fine. They just need medical attention quick" the redhead answered.

"That's it? Well getting people's attention is my specialty." Suigetsu laughed before sending a huge wave of water out of the alleyway into the street where people were walking. Shocked murmurs and footsteps headed towards them could be heard.

"Are you an actual idiot!" Karin punches him, about to lecture him more but Sasuke started heading the other way back to Naruto so they followed him without further bickering.

"Juugo, how is he"

"Probably the same as when you saw him 2 minutes ago" Suigetsu mumbles, earring him another elbow to the rib cage. "Oof-"

"He's fine" Juugo responded.

"Are they dead?." Naruto asked quietly.

"They'll be fine, don't worry." Sasuke lied. Naruto still looked sad, as if he knew the other was lying. Sasuke decided to order everyone to get going back to the house. That left him and Naruto. "Hey....." the raven was looking around, trying to avoid eye contact as he akwardly held his arms out. He had never been one for comfort...but it was clear the boy in front of him needed it.
The effect was almost instantaneous as Naruto pressed his head on Sasuke's toned chest and slowly curled his arms around his torso. Sasuke would stand like this for hours if he had to, and if he was being honest, it didn't feel that bad.

'Foxes like to cuddle huh..' Sasuke smiles.

"You guys saw all that right?..." Suigetsu and the others were sitting in a relatively far tree. To the point where they couldn't hear anything, but what the saw was still unexplainable. Sasuke Uchiha not only willingly hugged someone, but initiated it in the first place. Everyone was shocked. "Who knew he swung that way"

"Shut up!- I'm ...I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding!!!" Karin was red faced and most likely contemplating life.

"Guys we really shouldn't be doing this..." Juugo seemed uneasy. "If Sasuke finds out he'll be mad."

"Oh please! He can't just expect us to get up and leave when he clearly had some business with Naruto!" Suigetsu attempted to defend himself.

"What are you all talking about?" They all turned their heads in surprise to see Naruto and Sasuke standing on a large branch on the tree in front of them.

"I thought I told you all to get going" Sasuke was angry.

"Oh yeah!! We umm.. we wanted to wait for you guys!" The white haired male started and Karin backed him up.
'If Sasuke finds out I was spying he won't trust me anymore!'
"YEAH! And your here now so... LETS GO!" She grabbed Suigetsu's wrist and pulled him away. Juugo nodded silently and followed them.

"Let's go" Sasuke told Naruto, who seemed distracteded or uncomfortable about something, but the Uchiha just ignored it for now and jumped through the trees after the others with Naruto close behind.

They traveled for about 45 minutes before Naruto saw black spots in his vision.
'What?...' he stumbled a bit after landing on the next branch but shook his head and quickly regained his balance but the dizziness didn't go away.  'It's ok....I'm ok...Shit I think I'm gonna puke-'

"Sasuke...." Naruto asked hesitantly already having got the others attention. "I don't...feel so good...."

(*Sad avenger noises*)

"Guys, slow down" he ordered the others who refrained from running any further. By Now Naruto had fallen out of step and was about to descend to the ground if not for Sasuke's quick reflexes, who caught him just before he hit the ground. "Oi! Get a hold of yourself!"

Sasuke could feel the heat radiating off him. And even though he wasn't a medic nin, he knew that was definitely too hot for a normal person.

"What do we do?" Juugo asked and the other two listened intently. Sasuke was definitely the type of person to leave anyone behind who was an inconvenience. But to their surprise, the Uchiha picked up Naruto, coaxing the weak boy into a piggyback before continuing on his way.

"I'm gonna carry him" Sasuke gave them all a look that said 'duh'.
The sun made its way over them as the group continued through the trees. And Naruto's condition continued to worsen. His body was now burning to the touch, and Sasuke didn't even need to reach back to feel the others forehead to know he was getting hotter. In the time they traveled so far, they had to stop about 4 times to let Naruto heave up whatever he had for breakfast. Needless to say, the guy wasn't looking too good.

"Sasuke.." his eyes were half lidded as if he was falling asleep "I think I'm gonna pass out..." No one except Sasuke heard this warning due to Naruto's surprisingly weak voice being close to his ear. As his head rested over Sasuke's shoulder.

"No. Not yet, just stay awake a little longer, we're almost there." It was a complete lie. But Sasuke was too afraid to imagine what would happen if Naruto gave into sleep.

The other three were worried at Naruto's rapid change in health. A minor change could happen in a few hours, but this was too much to be a small cold. The man Danzo definitely did something... and no one knew what.

By the time the team reached the cottage, it was dusk and the sky was starting to get its pink luminous glow. Naruto had successfully stayed awake the ride there. Or kept his eyes open at least. Cause he wasn't responding to anything Sasuke said or did. Which was concerning. "Karin, what should we do" he hated having to seem so powerless in front of his group but medical care was something he knew almost absolutely nothing about.

"Get the bed ready, Suigetsu get some cold towels and a bowl of cold water. And we need to make sure he's even still alive." That last part made Sasuke worry. 'Was I carrying a corpse that whole time?'

Karin laid Naruto against the wall inside with the help of Juugo and felt for a pulse. "He's alive.." she brought a pail hand to his tanned forehead.

"He's burning up though..." her eyebrows knitted together in concern. "Sasuke....this is like...hospital level fever.." It was odd for Karin to be genuinely worried about someone other than Sasuke, but like he had to many others, Naruto effortlessly made his way into her heart. 'I hate to admit it, but Sasuke really cares about this guy..' She thought.

"Well then heal him" Sasuke said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world, even though he had an idea of what Karin was gonna say. Anger was still evident on his face. But his mind was worrying like crazy. 'I can't lose him too, not again'

The redhead simply shook her head. "Can't Sasuke, unless it's a physical injury, the best we can do is have him rest..."

'I was afraid of that..'
