"Ahhh!!! Finally, it’s done!" Seungcheol groaned, stretching his arms in the air. He turned to Jeonghan, saw him close his books, and immediately slumped over him, putting all his weight on him.

Jeonghan’s heart skipped a beat, his stomach flipping at the sudden intimacy.

Seungcheol wrapped his arms around Jeonghan’s shoulders, caging him in as he rested his head on Jeonghan’s shoulder. He exhaled deeply.

Dokyeom and Joshua closed their books, stretching back.

"What do we do now?" Dokyeom asked, yawning.

Joshua, without missing a chance, put his finger into Dokyeom’s open mouth mid-yawn.

Dokyeom smacked Joshua’s hand away, making everyone laugh.

Seungcheol chuckled, the vibrations of his laughter sending a shiver through Jeonghan’s body, giving him butterflies in his stomach.

"Let’s play something," Seungcheol suggested, sitting straight.

Jeonghan exhaled the breath He didn't know was holding.

"Truth or dare?" Joshua proposed, and everyone nodded.

"Okay, we'll play rock paper scissors. Whoever loses or plays late loses," Seungcheol explained.

"On the count of three… One, two, three!" Seungcheol counted, and Dokyeom responded late losing automatically.

"Ahaaa, Dokyeom! Truth or dare?" Seungcheol asked excitedly.

Dokyeom glanced at the three of them, who were now staring at him with mischievous expressions. He instinctively moved back.

"You all are looking scary," he muttered.

The three of them chuckled.

"Okay, truth," he finally said.

"Jeonghan, ask him a question," Seungcheol suggested.

Jeonghan tapped his chin thinking before smirking and turning to Dokyeom.

"How was the kiss?" he asked casually.

Dokyeom’s eyes widened in shock. His face turned red as he glanced at Joshua, who smirked.

"I-It… It was good," Dokyeom stuttered, his face heating up.

Jeonghan suppressed a chuckle, covering his mouth with his hand.

"Only ‘good,’ Dovey? I’m hurt," Joshua pouted dramatically, placing a hand over his heart.

Seungcheol, the only one completely clueless, sat there dumbfounded. He blinked at Joshua, then at Dokyeom, then at Jeonghan, trying to process the situation.

"What kiss? Who kissed? What are you talking about?" he asked, glancing between the three of them.

Jeonghan chuckled while Dokyeom blushed harder.

"I kissed your baby brother," Joshua teased with a smirk.

"Actually, wait…" Joshua paused, tapping his chin as if deep in thought. "Your baby brother kissed me first," his smirk grew wide.

Seungcheol’s jaw dropped.

"Dokyeom did what?!" he asked in disbelief.

"You heard me right," Joshua said, pulling Dokyeom closer by the waist.

"Oh my god!" Seungcheol nearly shouted. "When did this happen? How did this happen? And WHY did this happen?" He yapped, freaking out.

"Calm down, Seungcheol," Jeonghan said, trying to soothe him.

Seungcheol turned to him with wide eyes. "Hannie, you knew about this?!"

"Yeah… Joshuji told me this morning," Jeonghan replied casually.

Seungcheol stood up dramatically, clapping his hands together.

"Wow. Just wow. I’m the only one left in the dark. Amazing."

Joshua rolled his eyes. "Stop being so dramatic, Seungcheol. Why would I need to tell you about our kiss?"

"This bitch-" Seungcheol grabbed a pillow and threw it at Joshua.

Joshua laughed it off while Jeonghan grabbed Seungcheol’s hand, urging him to sit back down.

"Okay, let’s play again. But this time, Dokyeom won’t play," Jeonghan suggested.

"Fine, I’ll count this time," Dokyeom said, stepping back.

"On the count of three… One, two, three!" Dokyeom counted.

Right before playing, Joshua and Jeonghan subtly exchanged glances, signaling something to each other.

They both played paper. Seungcheol played rock.

Seungcheol’s eyes widened. "Cheating! Cheating! You two cheated! I saw you gesturing at each other!" he accused.

"There’s no cheating," Jeonghan shrugged. "We both played paper. If you had played scissors, you would’ve won, but you played rock. That’s on you."

"Wahhh, Jeonghan! I didn’t think you were a cheater too!" Seungcheol exclaimed.

"Truth or dare, Seungcheol?" Joshua asked smugly.

"Truth," Seungcheol answered.

"Joshua scoffed. "Eyyy… I thought you were brave. Didn’t expect you to be this much of a coward." He provoked him.

And Seungcheol fell right into the trap. "Okay, fine! Dare!"

Joshua smirked. "I dare you to call your mother here and tell her that Jeonghan is going to be her son in law". Joshua said raising a brow challenged Seungcheol.

Jeonghan caught off guard choked on air.

"Chill, Jeonghan, it’s just a game," Dokyeom said, rubbing his back.

Only Jeonghan and Joshua knew it wasn’t just a game. Jeonghan glanced at Joshua, who winked at him.

"Easy peasy," Seungcheol said, then yelled for his mother.

"Do you need something, kids?" Mrs. Choi asked, entering the room.

Seungcheol grinned. "Ma! I have something to confess."

He turned to Jeonghan, taking his hand and intertwining their fingers.

Mrs. Choi looked at them in confusion.

"Jeonghan is ... Your future son in law",  Seungcheol declared.

Silence fell over the room.

The only sound jeonghan can hear is his own heart beating rapidly as his hands started to sweat out of nervousness.. this is just a game .. he told himself.

But deep down, he wanted to know what his future mother in law truly thought of him.

After what felt like an eternity, Mrs. Choi suddenly clapped her hands together.

"Thank God!" she groaned.

Everyone exchanged confused glances.

"I’ve been wondering what kind of person you’d bring home, Seungcheol. I’m so happy it’s Jeonghan," she said with a warm smile.

Jeonghan felt the tension leaving his shoulders as he exhaled deeply. His future mother in law likes him.

Then, at that moment, he realized something. Seungcheol was still holding his hand.

Before, he had been too preoccupied with Mrs. Choi’s reaction to notice. But now, he saw how perfectly his smaller hand fit in Seungcheol’s large, warm palm. How calming it felt.

"Jeonghan! Come with me," Mrs. Choi suddenly called, grabbing his hand and dragging him downstairs before he could react.

Seungcheol blinked in surprise, looking between Joshua and Dokyeom.

"What the hell did just happen?" he asked, completely baffled by his mother’s reaction.

Joshua smirked. "Your mom accepted Jeonghan as her son in law and took him downstairs."

"Right..." Seungcheol nodded absentmindedly,  until realization hit him.

"Wait… WHAT?! Ma!! This is all just a game!" Seungcheol bolted out of the room, rushing downstairs searching for Jeonghan and his mom.

Both Joshua and Dokyeom were left alone in the room, they glanced at each other before bursting into laughter.
