Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Once the nomads finish singing the beautiful song everyone claps and cheers. The talented musicians bow their heads and start singing again, this time a more rhythmic song, making the nomad ladies wearing colorful clothes stand up and cheer, clapping their hands as they start dancing. Felix and Hyunjin look around, clapping, mesmerized by the culture of these people. Why did everyone consider them the black sheep of the herd when they are clearly more than talented, they have their own traditions and their hospitality is something you rarely see. Elara is also looking around perplexed, watching the young ladies shake their hips and turn around, their colorful skirts looking like waves in a stormy sea. But this type of party... it wasn't like the parties in taverns. She used to sneak out in the middle of the night to attend the parties held at the local tavern. The first time she got there the whole place was reeking of sweat and alcohol and she can't understand what she saw entertaining for that matter. Here, right in front of her eyes, the women who are dancing are seen as gifted goddesses, not pieces of random cloths belonging to men. Here, men sit down and clap their hands, venerating their women, not touching them aggressively and vulgarly. She soon feels someone grabbing her hand lightly, his touch being enough to give her a reason to shiver. She turns around, noticing Ackon, a crooked smile placed on his face as he crouches near her. "Do you know how to dance?" He asks, getting up slowly. Elara shakes her head nervously. "No. No, I don't." Ackon smiles sincerely this time and pulls both her hands, making her stand up too. "I can fix that." He says with a conquering smile and embraces her body. She opens her eyes wide as Ackon glues her to his chest, a secured grip holding her waist. "You ready?" Ackon asks as Elara has to throw her head back in order to see his face. "No, I'm not re-" Ackon doesn't ignore her, but he laughs it off, pulling her along with his body towards the dancing crowd gathered around the musicians. His sparkling eyes tell the unspoken words 'you don't need to be ready. I got you!'

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Elara can't believe how a group of strangers can make you laugh from one ear to the other. She is still holding tightly onto Ackon, letting him lead her into the dizzying, spontaneous dance. They jump around, her laugh reverberating in his whole being. He makes her spin, her red dress bending along with her body shapes. A woman hands Elara a tambourine while smiling and dragging her towards the center of the crowd. Her hand separates from Ackon's and he starts clapping, encouraging her to go on and have fun. She closes her eyes and feels her body refreshed, she feels like this chance is a gift given from the gods, a good sign. She lets go of all her worries and enjoys the moment, knowing surely that she won't be able to feel this happiness too soon.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Felix claps his hands at the women dancing in front of him and Hyunjin. They are trying to convince them to join the dance too, but his attention is concentrated on Elara whom he spotted in the distance. She is having fun with the nomads. She belongs to this type of people, while he finds too much noise a little bit annoying. Felix observes how she keeps swinging and swirling, her face radiating and understands that sometimes it's worth it to go against your own principles. Trade the silent moments for your loved ones' happiness. He feels a warm feeling exploding in his chest at the sight of Hyunjin's bright smile and Elara's rosy cheeks. His whole world stops and starts spinning again, the dizzying sensation making him feel like the ground fell from beneath his feet. Elara shows off in the middle of the crowd, people cheering and clapping for her. He looks at Hyunjin, leans closer to him and speaks loudly enough for him to hear. "It's the first time I see Elara that happy." Hyunjin looks at her for a few seconds and then back at Felix, smiling and caressing his cheek. "You deserve that too Lixxie." Felix shrugs. "I'm fine. All I need now is a healthy mother." Hyunjin nods."We will manage to save her. We will leave the camp at dawn. Hopefully we will get to her in two days. Don't worry!..." He grabs Felix's hand. "... You deserve to be at peace. My freckled love deserves the whole world." He says the last sentence while rustling Felix's hair. Felix frowns at the nickname Hyunjin just said. "What did you call me?" Hyunjin chuckles and touches the tip of their noses. "I said you are my freckled love." Felix pushes Hyunjin's forehead away with his finger. "That's a stupid nickname!" He says as Hyunjin smiles. "It's a cute nickname!" Hyunjin says and Felix scoffs. "You're stupid!" The freckled boy says as the blonde thief looks at him with sparkling eyes, talking, more in a whispery tone. "You're cute!"

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Elara lets Ackon drag her away, getting her out of the crowd. They run laughing towards a table full with snacks and drinks. Ackon opens a bottle of what seems like beer and pours it into two large glasses. Elara chuckles and wipes a beam of sweat that is sliding down her forehead. "Is that going to get me drunk?" She points towards the glasses full of yellow beer. Ackon moves his gaze to her and hands her the glass. "That depends on how much your body can resist. You look tough though..." he is lying. She looks like she would get completely wasted after two or three glasses of beer. "Do you want me to bring you water instead?" Elara shakes her head and takes the glass saying cheers. She chuggs half of the beer in the glass and breathes satisfied. "This is really refreshing." She looks at Ackon's worried expression. "What is it? Did you think I might get drunk after two or three glasses?" Ackon starts seriously, but bursts into laughter after admitting the truth. "I... no... yes." Elara hits Ackon's arm powerfully. "Do I look like a total light-head?" Ackon nods gaining another hit from Elara. "Why is this even happening?" Ackon drinks some beer too. When he finishes, he whipes his lips and points towards the camp behind Elara; the tents, the people having fun... "Didn't want you to leave the camp without having a great time. As time passes by, memories fade. I had to make sure you never forget about us." She feels the glass become slippery in her hand and places it on the table. "Wait. Did you really order this? This whole party?" Ackon moves his gaze from Elara and looks at the ground. "Maybe. By the way, you were amazing." Elara blushes lightly. "I wasn't." He looks straight into her almond shaped eyes, talking without thinking. When he is around her he can't rely on his rational side. It feels like it's completely gone. He hopes not to make her feel embarrassed, but talks anyway. "You dance pretty well for someone who doesn't know how to dance." Elara doesn't play his game and shows a challenging smile. "And you treat women pretty well for someone who doesn't spend time with females." Ackon raises one eyebrow and admits that the damsel is playing hard. Even though he wants to tell her that she is the only female he spent time with in the last decade, he shows his pride and scoffs carelessly. "Nah. You just think you're special." He winks as she rolls her eyes. "Sure." she says, hiding the question which makes her shoulders feel heavy. 'You really spend a lot of time with other women?' She bites her lip, weighting whether she should ask Ackon that or not. He interrupts her and steals her attention. "You're thinking about something. What is burdening you?" Elara searches for an answer. "I was thinking... you know..." she bites the inside of her cheek and decides to keep the question hidden. Instead she points towards Felix. "I was thinking that Felix should tell us a fable. Would you let him?" Ackon smiles. "Why would I stop him? Let's see if he wants to tell us a story." Elara nods and feels better that she didn't ask Ackon that stupid question. She knows him for one day. They have their separate lives and that's too much of a personal question.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  They approach Felix and Hyunjin and sit down near them, Ackon whistles and despite the noise people calm down, some of them sitting back down around the fire, some of them leaving to go to sleep. Felix lifts his eyebrows towards Elara. "What is going on?" Hyunjin's slightly confused expression makes Elara chuckle. "I was thinking about asking you to tell us a fable. Would you like to do it?" Felix feels his hands shaking slightly, but hides his fists in his lap. Making up a fable in front of so many people? Honestly, he forgot every story he wrote so far because of the sudden nervousness. He scratches the back of his neck and is ready to excuse himself when a feminine voice speaks, standing out from the whispery crowd. "Are you a story teller? Tell us a story. Please!" Her hazelnut brown eyes look like those belonging to a deer and her hair has the darkest color, as dark as the place between the stars. Felix nods slowly, searching for his bag. He showed them the Star Stone earlier. So the bag is near. He talks while searching for the fables he wrote and gathered in one notebook. "I'm a writer. I usually write fables." The young ladies who remained to listen to his fable cheer as he smiles while getting out of the bag the bunch of old papers tied with thick rope and wrapped in a leather cover. The smell of ink greets him and he is willing to open the book when he suddenly changes his mind. He won't read. He will actually make up a fable. He hands the book to the lady near him, clearing his throat. His voice covers the night songs of the crickets as he speaks in a loud, clear tone. The forest seems to listen too, a violet fog embalming the place in a thin layer of magic...

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Once, a long time ago, a very long time ago an assasin has been given a deadly task. Venture into the deepest of woods, the darkest of caves and the highest of mountains in order to accomplish a goal that seemed impossible, in order to save a dear life. Having no other choice, the assasin left his old and cozy cottage, followed close behind by his loyal red-headed fox. When they were about to step inside the first forest, they met an unexpected person. With all his might, the assassin tried to chase away the person who presented himself as a thief, tell him to find somebody else to annoy. The assassin didn't want to get involved with the thief as taking care of himself was enough. He barely had food and water. After a tiring day of walking, the assassin got familiar with the presence of the cunning thief and the sudden dissapearance of the fox forced them to work together. If they wanted to find the fox they had to be united and for the first time since they met, the assassin felt like he could finally appreciate the presence of the thief. Following a magic path and going through an unusual ritual everything seemed to become clear to the assassin, who started seeing the thief he once considered a burden, as a star shining brightly on a night sky without a moon. He couldn't explain the connection he felt and after weighting whether he should tell the thief or not, his actions spoke before his mouth could. The kiss took place in a quiet forest, the wind blowing lightly and the birds chirping among the gnarled branches. Things settled down between them, they found the fox, but the worst was yet to come. Two days have passed and the second day was the toughest. Through their journey they defeated an army of demons, creatures coming from the darkest nightmares, met lords and goddesses and people. Kind people. In these two days the assassin and the thief became more and more interested in one another, a wild love story becoming clear words written on the new pages of a book that belonged to them. A love story so fiery and spontaneous it didn't even seem true. But they knew it was true. And that was enough. Enough to make them curious for the ending of the book. Love doesn't announce its arrival, it hits you like a strong opponent and whenever you deny its existance you become weaker and weaker. Because love is what makes people want to change for the best. Love makes people understand that time means nothing when it comes to this type of feeling. Falling in love could take 200 years, but at the same time it could take only 2 days... and last forever.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Felix smiles towards the blonde thief who knows exactly about whom this fable is. Their exchange of looks is interrupted by the sudden voice speaking above the whispers. A young girl, maybe about Elara's age, with chubby cheeks and a mole under her right eye asks in a shy voice. "And did they fall in love?" Felix hides a smile and nods. "Yes." He answers as the feminine voice speaks again. "In two days?" Felix nods again. "Yes. Amazing, right?" He refrains himself from stealing a glance of Hyunjin's clearly rosy cheeks. "Sometimes, as the fable tells us, it takes only one single glance..." this time he can't stop himself and steals a quick glance of Hyunjin’s sparkling eyes. "... to understand." The nomad lady with chubby cheeks lifts the pile of stories covered in leather and looks at Felix with a silent request hidden in her eyes. "Can I keep your book of fables?" Felix nods quietly, considering that his work will be passed on. A masculine voice speaks, this time, covering the squeals and giggles of the young ladies. "Why don't your fables have animals as characters? Like usual fables." Felix didn't know it, but realises soon after the nomad's question that he is eager to answer it. He clears his throat, ready to talk about his work. Ready to make his dream of talking about his ideas in front of people come true. "Sometimes, people are easily mistaken and the only ones that should carry their burdens are people themselves. I know that fables are usually about humans represented by animals, but my fables are more likely to link humans to a story ending with a moral." People nod and Felix radiates, knowing that his years of hard work is appreciated and cherished.

Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β  Β Β  Felix never thought that he would feel this kind of pride. The pride of a praised author. After people said that his work of art deserve to be spread through the world he can't stop smiling. After they leave the camp fire they enter their tent, Felix observing a lot of details this time. The soft wool blanket which they used to cover themselves last night, the beautifully colored pieces of cloth that were serving as paintings on the "walls" and something he didn't notice until now. A small white flower, located right near the entrance. Right this morning he didn't see it, the dizziness still making him struggle to see five meters ahead. But now he spotted the flower without even intending to do it. He crouches down near it and touches its petite immaculate petals with his finger tip. He talks in a sweet voice, Hyunjin's fine hearing being enough to make Hyunjin smile at Felix's words. "You're so cute!" Felix talks to the petite flower. Hyunjin agrees, nodding his head and feeling a familiar warmth spreading through his chest. "Yes you are..." he whispers, but his eyes aren't focused on the white flower. Those words are meant for the man with lovely freckles who doesn't acknowledge his surroundings for the moment being, his eyes sparkling of joy.
