GIBBY WAS an interesting person to say the least and that's why he was one of Alexa's favorite person.

So, when Carly approached her about Ginny's crush, she knew that she would have to put her hatred for the blonde and brunette duo to help her funny friend.

"Gibby!" Alexa smiled.

"What's up?"

"Carly told me about your crush on Shannon and we've come up with a plan to get you guys together."

"How?"

"We're gonna set up a new part of our show called "I Win a Date"." She smiled, "And you're gonna be our special mystery date."

Alexa paused, looking over at Gibby's friend.

"Who's that and why is he staring at me?"

"Oh, this is Reuben."

"Sorry." Reuben apologized, "It's like you were born sideways over the moon with 2 1/2 scoops. Zipang."

"I'm gonna give you two seconds to explain yourself." Alexa said, "Was that a compliment or something?"

"Hey, just 'cause I bump the chump doesn't mean I lost my bingo trap."

Gibby laughed, "That is so true."

Alexa could only roll her eyes and hope that Shannon would be apart of their show.

THE NEXT day Alexa made her way towards Shannon and her friends.

"You guys wanna be on Do Something?"

"What are we gonna do?" One asked.

"You could possibly win a date with an awesome guy."

"Freddie?" Shannon asked.

"Huh?"

"I think Freddie is cute and smart."

"You do?"

Before the conversation could move forward, Reuben approached Alexa from behind.

"There's my raspberry soccer ball."

Alexa sighed and faced him, "If you don't stop following me around I will wrap your own arm around your neck."

Alexa didn't know what attracted Rueben to her, especially since she's been nothing but mean and snarky to him this entire time, yet again, she had no idea what Rueben was saying half the time.

"Get the details from Della and I hope I see you guys tonight."

Alexa grabbed Rueben's arm and gave him what she thought was a gentle push and marched away.

"READY TO play?" Alexa asked.

It was the night that Gibby would pick Stella to be his date and he was sweating his nerves all over the place.

"Shannon's really in there?" Gibby asked, "Man, this is intense."

"Just remember, all your voices are gonna be electronically disguised." Della said.

"Why?"

"To keep your identities a mystery."

"Then how will I know which one is Shannon?"

Alexa smiled, "She'll be girl number—"

"You can't just tell him." Della cut off, "We have to keep the game real and fair."

"But what if I don't pick Shannon?"

"Gibby, there'll be 3 girls out there. Girl one," Alexa paused, taking a step towards Gibby, "girl two, and girl three."

"But how will I know which one is Shannon?"

Della held up two fingers, "Relax and just got with what you gut says, but remember to keep calm."

"Okay."

"Hey guys," Chase called, "come here for a second."

Alexa and Della left Gibby alone with Carly and Sam. They watched as a nervous Shannon ran her hands over her denim skirt.

She explained that her other friends weren't coming because they got tickets for Girly Cow on ice.

"We have seven minutes to figure out how we're gonna play this game without girl number one or girl number three." Freddie said.

"Oh, Freddie, you're so good at math." Shannon smiled, resting her hand on his shoulder before he pushed it off.

"Alexa and I can be contestants."

Alexa stepped to the side to face Della, "What?" She asked simultaneously with Freddie.

"I'm not gonna be apart of the show when—" Alexa cut herself and held a false smile to Shannon, "our lovely date is so awesome and cool. It would not be fair."

"But Alexa—"

"Try and get Carly or Sam to join." Alexa whispered to Della, "You host... because it's the last time I'll ever take your suggestion."

ONCE THEY started the show and introduced them to their audience. Freddie and Della explained the rules to the audience and the other contestants.

But it seemed to be a complete and total bust because Gibby ended up picking girl number one, who just so happened to be Alexa.

"Why'd you pick me?"

"I didn't know it was you." Gibby said, "Doesn't matter, anyway. Shannon likes Freddie."

"No, don't worry about that." Freddie reassured, "I'm in love with someone else."

As Carly smiled, Alexa furrowed her brows.

The crush Freddie had denied a thousand times had been enough for Carly and Sam to believe that he liked Alexa.

But Alexa didn't know that. Alexa could only assume that Freddie was madly in love with Carly Shay.

"Sorry I ruined everything and don't worry, you don't have to go on a date with me."

"It'll be fun." She smiled, "You're lucky I like cheesecake."

SCHOOL. A dreadful place to be at especially when Alexa had Rueben following after her.

"Um, hey, Alexa." Gibby called, "I- I made reservations at the Cheesecake Warehouse for tonight at 7, unless you decided that you don't wanna go."

"It sounds like you don't want to go on a date with me."

"Hey, how about a pop for the boomerang?"

"Huh?"

"He wants to know if you want a double date."

"Who's gonna go on a double date with him? He's been following me around."

"Sam?"

"Me and you. On a double date. With him and Sam." Alexa paused, "Sam would love that. It's a double date."

"Okay, well, see you there." Gibby smiled.

"Tell Sam I'll be ready to hang my socks on the monkey parade." Rueben said.

Alexa sighed as the duo left and soon was approached by Freddie.

"What are those?" She asked.

"These are love notes."

"Shannon wrote you that many love notes?"

He nodded, "Try taking a test while she's staring at you. What's it gonna take to make Shannon understand I don't wanna go out with her?"

Freddie huffed and threw the letters in the trash.

"Go on a date with her."

Freddie furrowed his brows, "Why? I thought you were still trying to get her and Gibby together?"

"I am. My date's tonight, and I'm gonna force Sam to go with Reuben. Invite Shannon. Be a gross as humanly possible and we can make her like Gibby."

"If that'll get her to leave me alone, fine."

"Great." Alexa smiled, "It's a date."

Sam laughed, "Oh wow, you finally did it Fredward. You got a date with a pretty girl."

"Yeah." Alexa smiled, "You and Rueben. Me and Gibby. Freddie and Shannon. All at the Cheesecake Warehouse."

"I'm not going on a date with that noob!"

"Too bad. It's already happening. You know, this could've been avoided you if actually played the game on our show."

"But—"

"See you guys there!" Alexa waved and rushed off before Sam could say anything more.

Sam sighed, "I don't know what you see in her."

"I don't like her." Freddie said.

"I didn't say that." She said, resting a hand on his shoulder, "But you, Freddie Benson, aren't gonna get a girl like that to fall for you. Trust me, you can't even get Carly weak in her knees."

With that, Sam left the boy alone.

If Freddie Benson wanted the girl he could totally get her... but maybe Alexa was a little harder to catch.

THE DATE went as expected.

Shannon was over Freddie.

Rueben was beat up by Sam.

And Gibby took his shirt off and danced on the table with another girl.

In all fairness, it was a success to everyone else.

Sam had stayed behind at the restaurant to enjoy her free meal, courtesy of Kendall.

Freddie and Alexa walked home as they shared a crème brûlée cheesecake.

"Interesting how things turn out." Alexa smiled, biting her food, "I'm sure Gibby fell in love with that girl."

"Imagine if she never showed." Freddie laughed.

"Hey, you mentioned being in love with someone... still Carly Shay?" Alexa asked.

Freddie stayed silent for a moment.

Though he liked Alexa, Sam had drilled it into his head that she was just another Carly Shay. A girl not willing to give him a chance.

But did he love Alexa? As harsh as it may sound, he didn't. He really, really liked her.

Carly on the other hand... if Chase really wanted to make a move on her, Freddie wasn't going to stop him.

"Maybe." He said, "Maybe not."

"Oh, come on. I know you have a tiny crush on Carly still. Shannon couldn't have changed you mind so quickly?"

"It wasn't Shannon."

Alexa glanced at him before stabbing her fork into the cheesecake.

"You know what, Benson? You're funny. Carly's missing out."

Freddie smiled.

He totally liked Alexa.
