You, Nya and Jay were hiding out at the Police Station for the time being. You were near a vending machine, eating some chips as you stared blankly at the ring on your index finger. "Y/n?" You perked up at the sound of Nya's voice and looked at her reaction.

"Oh, hey." You smiled, finishing the chips and threw away the trash. "What's up?" You leaned against the counter, looking at Nya with a small smile.

"Just wanted to check up on you. Y'know, since the others are.. Yeah." Nya frowned softly. You stared at Nya before gently patting her on the back.

"I'm fine. Well, not really fine. I-- I'm getting slightly worried." You frowned. Nya looked at you with her head tilted. You continued to explain, "Well, ever since we-- the Ninja, got more well known throughout Ninjago. I felt, kind of lacking?"

"What do you mean?"

"Me and Lloyd. We haven't been hanging out as much? Well-- Yeah, of course we haven't, he's stuck in a sword, but before that. Before this whole situation with that Djinn, before all of the fame." You sighed. "I feel like all this isolation between us is going to cause a rift sooner or later."

Nya stared at you before frowning. "You love him, don't you?" You looked at Nya and nodded. "And I'm pretty sure Lloyd loves you just as much. You were there when he was worried that he would fight his dad. And he was there for you when you were grieving your dad. You two have been through thick and thin. If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't worry." She smiled.

You smiled before nodding. "Thanks, Nya." She returned the smile before hugging you tightly. The moment grew short, however, when an explosion occurred and the sirens went off. You looked at Nya before frowning. "Nadakhan."

You and Nya ran to a backroom in the station and opened the door. "Jay! He's here." Jay frowned but nodded. Soon, the commissioner came.

"We can't defend you any longer. Have you found a safe house?" The commissioner looked at the two.

"Yeah. It's--" You quickly covered Jay's mouth.

"No! Don't tell us. It's better off if only you two know." You pulled your hand away and frowned. "You two need to go. Now."

"What? (Y/n), what about you?" Nya frowned worryingly.

"I'm staying to see if I can hold them back. Even if it's for a short while, every second, minute, or hour counts." You smiled. "Don't worry." You pulled back and pulled down your mask. "Go." You turned around and ran off.

~~~
You hid behind a clattered case cabinet as voices rang out. "Find those Ninja and bring 'em to the Captain!" You frowned, assuming that was Flintlocke.
You inhaled deeply before jumping out. "Right here, sharp-shooter!" You took out your staff and slammed it on the ground, making a huge gust of wind throughout the room as papers and folders flew around.
Flintlocke glared at you before aiming his gun, and shot a couple bullets, despite Lloyd's wish earlier. You dodged out the way and charged at him. You generated wind around your arms and shot out razor winds towards Flintlocke, making him get launched to the side.
You let out a huff, glaring at the shooter. "I don't know what the deal is with that freaky Djinn of yours but there's no way you're getting near the other two!"
"Freaky, hm?" A voice whispered near your ear. You tensed before swinging your staff around, but Nadakhan went up in a puff of smoke, appearing beside Flintlocke and the rest of his crew soon showed up.
You glared at them. "Yes. Freaky." You tightened your grip on the staff in your hands.
Nadakhan glared down at you before flying towards you, drawing out the Djinn Blade. You stepped back slightly. "You will tell me where Nya is." He pointed the blade at your neck.
"Fat chance!" You hit the blade away, causing it to form a small cut your neck.
Nadakhan hummed, "So be it."
~~~

The commissioner looked at the two. "Listen, Jay. If Nadakhan finds and marries Nya, he'll have infinite wishes. Protect her."

"I promise to. With my life." Jay put his fist to where his heart was.

Nya frowned before pulling Jay back. "I appreciate the macho sentiment, but may I remind you that I can look after my—"

The Commissioner shook his head, "There isn't much time. Go, ninja. Go!" The two left and the Commissioner ate the map.

"And what do you think you're doing?" Nadakhan appeared behind the Commissioner, glaring at him.

"Wha-- Where's (Y/n)?" The Commissioner frowned.

Nadakhan just smirked, showing the Commissioner the Djinn Blade. "She's where she belongs, of course."

The Commissioner belched slightly before groaning. "Well, you're too late, Nadakhan. Ugh, that was a big map.."

Flintlocke walked inside the room and looked around. "Hey, look." He opened a hatch and frowned. "They got away, Captain."

The Commissioner belched again. "You'll never find them." He frowned.

"Oh, I have my ways. Take him prisoner! Take them all! And find me that girl!" Nadakhan ordered out.

~~~
"Okay, let's go over the plan again." Nya cleared the table and sat down. Currently, Nya and Jay were at the Lighthouse where Zane's father, Dr. Julien, was held captive.
" Okay. If Nadakhan shows up, we shoot him with the poison, then when he can't use his magic, I say my last wish to save Ninjago." Jay let out a panicked laugh. "A wish Lloyd told me is said from my heart, a heart that has no clue what it could be, but if said incorrectly, could likely make everything ten times worse."
"You'll think of it. You always do. Let's get settled in. We could use the peace and quiet to think. All we can do now is hope the police can find Nadakhan before Nadakhan finds us." Nya smiled before sighing.
"What's wrong?"
"Do you think (Y/n) succeeded?" Nya looked at Jay. "She went off and tried to stall the Sky Pirates, but, what if--" Nya got interrupted.
"No. You heard what (Y/n) said. Every second, minute, and hour counts to defeating this creepy Djinn. And we will, together." Jay smiled, reassuring Nya.
Nya stared at Jay before smiling. She nodded. "Yeah. We'll stop him."
~~~

The Commissioner glared at Nadakhan and his crew. "You can threaten us all you want, Nadakhan, but it'll do you no good. We don't know where they are. And I must warn you, I'm a blue ribbon swimmer. Won three straight championships in my heyday."

"But are they good swimmers?" Nadakhan pointed at the detectives with the Djinn Blade. "Choose who goes first." He growled.

The Commissioner frowned softly before shaking his head. "I-I... I can't. They're both like sons to me."

"Well, then, I'll take both of them." Nadakhan looked towards his crew.

"All right, all right, all right. To heck with Tommy. I never liked him anyway." The Commissioner blurted out.

"Me? Simon was the one who nearly spilled the intel on the Tiger Widow venom. Uh-- forget I said that." Tommy looked around with a panicked expression.

"That's why I don't like you, Tommy." The Commissioner dead-panned.

C"Tiger Widow venom? You mean that poison that can hurt the captain? But you said you d-d-dumped it out." Clancee frowned, looking towards Nadakhan.

Nadakhan frowned as well before asking. "So the ninja still have it?"

"I'm not gonna say another word. Except for... geronimo!" Tommy jumped off the Misfortune's Keep. The others quickly followed.

"Geronimo!"

"Geronimo! Look on the bright side. They still don't know where to look." Simon floated above the ocean's surface.

Tommy frowned as he looked at Simon. "Bright side? They've stranded us in the middle of the forsaken ocean."

The Commissioner looked at the two. "Don't worry, boys. Blue ribbon swimmer."

"Except that we have company." The trio saw sharks swimming around them. "But your eye is twitching."

The Commissioner grumbled, "I know. I know. I'm not blind."

~~~
Nadakhan floated around, with a hand on his chin. "So they do have the poison. What possibly for? Are they trying to set up a trap?"
"All the more reason to stick with the plan. This nonsense with the girl, it was never supposed to be about her. When we started this journey, it was about making a home for us. Well, you're strong enough now, and you've done that. You gave us Djinjago. We control the skies. We've won, Nadakhan." Flintlocke frowned as the Pirates cheer. "But when will it be enough?"
Nadakhan looked up and glared at Flintlocke, "Enough!? It will never be enough! You ungrateful ingrates. Before you met me, you all were nothing. I granted your wishes, I took you in, I made you the most feared pirates that have ever roamed the seas. So I promise you this: those who help me complete the Djinn marriage ceremony will receive everything they have ever dreamed of."
"But how can we trust you? With the power of infinite wishes, it's just as easy to get rid of us." Flintlocke argued back.
Nadakhan stared. "What are you accusing me of?"
Flintlocke frowned. "I guess what I'm getting around to is...consider this a mutiny." He pointed his gun at him.
Nadakhan just smirked and floated closer, "Oh, but I see you've forgotten. You can't shoot straight."
"Now stop right there. I'm not joking." Flintlocke glared at Nadakhan.
Nadakhan let out a laugh, "Go ahead, let's see what kind of aim you have at point-blank." Flintlocke frowned and shot at the Djinn but missed every shot. Nadakhan swung the blade at the gun, disarming him. "Does anyone else have the stupidity to stand up to me?" The others shook their heads. "I thought so. Give him the mop, Clancee. You're no longer the bottom rung."
~~~

"Okay, here's a crazy one: what if you wish to resurrect the Devourer? Then we sic it on Nadakhan?" Nya smiled.

"No, uh-uh. Can't do that either. Can't wish to do harm, can't wish for more wishes. And you can't wish for...hehe, love. Which is how I got us into this mess. All due to just one little glimpse into the future showing us together." Jay sighed, frowning. "Our friends, gone. Our world, torn apart. Look at us. This is all my fault."

Nya frowned as well. "Jay.."

Jay continued to ramble. "I guess we really do end up together, just not how I'd envisioned it."

"Stop."

"I know, I know. You don't want to hear it." Jay shook his head.

Nya shook her head. "No, I mean stop talking. Did you hear that? I don't think we're alone." The two saw Tai-D talking to someone, but it soon left after a bit. "We're not the only ones here." Nya mumbled.

"Ugh. You mean I've been exposing my innermost feelings in front of a complete stranger? Ugh! I feel so violated." Jay frowned.

"They won't be a stranger after we get to know them. Hurry."

Jay sighed before trying to open the door. "The door's barricaded. No one could've escaped. We've been locked up so long, I think you're starting to see things." He frowned.

"Like how I'm seeing there's a hidden basement in the lighthouse?" She then pulled a switch. "Looks like a bunch of stuff from Zane's father's old lab."

"You're right, we're not alone." Jay hid behind her as he peered over her shoulder.

Nya frowned softly as she looked at Jay. "I thought you were supposed to protect me." She raised an eyebrow.

"I thought you were over that!"

Nya sighed softly before facing forwards. "Whoever you are, come out." A few seconds passed and soon, a very rusted Zane moved in their sights. He tilted his head with a smile before speaking up.

"I am Zane. Built to protect those who cannot protect themselves."

Jay widened his eyes. "Zane? Oh! When Zane's father was trapped here, he must've built a replacement Zane." He smiled.

Nya sighed, "Great, another knight in rusted armor."

"Rusted, maybe. But can he still protect?" Jay asked before looking towards Echo Zane as he tried to demonstrate, but fell onto his butt.

Nya blinked blankly before face-palming. "Built to protect what? Himself?"

"Who knows? But if the two of us can't figure out my wish, maybe a new perspective might help." Jay smiled, determined.

~~~
Nadakhan noticed Doubloon coming back and glanced towards her. "Did you see her?" Doubloon shook his head. "Ugh! You brocket! Where is she?" Nadakhan huffed before inhaling deeply, "Clancee, my dear boy..."
Clancee flinched slightly, "U-Uh, yes, Captain?"
Nadakhan smirked, "It just occurred to me that you still have two wishes left."
Clancee widened his eyes and backed up. "B-But, uh, Clancee doesn't need wishes. Clancee's just happy how he is." He stuttered out before his back touched a wall.
Nadakhan growled and leaned closer, intimidating him with the Djinn Blade. "Tell me where she is. Wish it, or you'll wish you had."
"B--b-b-b-but.. Okay, then. Oh, I wish... I wish... I wish I could see where she is right now." Clancee covered his eyes, as a window warped slightly, revealing Nya, Jay, and Echo Zane through a window.
Nadakhan watched them before smirking. "Well, I've sailed enough seas to know that was the Red Kelp of the West Apostle Current. Drop sails and cocker the cannons, crew. I know where they are."
~~~

"We know they're coming but I can't protect you all by myself." Jay panicked slightly as he paced around.

Nya frowned softly before trying to reassure him. "Don't forget, we have Echo Zane."

Echo Zane looked up from the chess board and towards the two. He nodded. "That is correct. You are safe with me." Tai-D replaced Echo Zane's chess piece with his own. "How did you..?" Tai-D shrugged.

Nya sighed softly before turning to Jay. "You said you saw us old together in the future, right? Then doesn't that mean you do protect me? That we do get through this? You know as well as I do, we can't keep running. No matter where we go, Nadakhan won't stop coming. But that doesn't mean we can't stop him here, together."

Jay stared at her before putting on a brave face. "You're right. We have the poison, and I may not know what to wish for now, but the future is inevitable."

"That's the spirit. Now, if we're gonna have company, what say you help me spruce this place up?" Nya smiled. "Also, keep this close. I transferred the poison into the dart. You may only have one shot at him, so use it wisely."

Jay grabbed the dart and nodded. "Thanks. And I want you to have this." He handed her the teapot. "If anything happens to me, use the Traveler's Tea to get yourself out of here. He's convinced he's going to marry you. If that happens, nothing can stop him. Uh-- uh, you're upset. What did I say?" He stared blanky.

Nya shook her head. "It's nothing you said. It's just... Both of you seem to convinced you see a future with me. What voice do I have in all this? All my life, my identity has been defined by someone else. First I was Kai's sister, then I was your horrible girlfriend. Even when I tried to be Samurai X, Sensei told me no, I had to be the Water Ninja." She frowned deeply.

"Nya, I-- I never knew you felt this way." Jay frowned.

"All I wanted is to be able to choose my own destiny." Nya looked at Jay.

Jay walked a bit closer. "Well, then, what do you want to be?" He tilted his head.

Nya shook her head. "I don't know. But just having the power to choose for myself is enough. I believe you when you say we'll end up together, but it's my future too. I just wish I had a say in it. And I wish we didn't have a lovestruck Djinn chasing us to the ends of Ninjago." She let out a huff.

Jay widened his eyes and smiled. "That's it! What if I wished he wasn't a Djinn? What if he was like us?" Nya stared at Jay before smiling.

"Then it wouldn't matter if he married me. He'd never get his wishes."

"Better yet, he won't be able to use his magic to get away, so we could trap him here forever." Jay smirked.

Echo Zane perked up slightly before speaking out. "Hm.. I sense they are here."

Nadakhan's voice soon rang out near the shore. "Get the girl!!"

"You heard the c-c-captain! Take the girl!" Clancee looked at the other pirates before rushing up the stairs towards the door.

Jay, Nya, and Echo Zane took their positions as they neared. Clancee stopped a pirate from opening the door and went himself, unknowning that he activated a trap and they all sprang backwards down the steps.

"Let 'em have it!!" Nya shouted before setting off multiple other traps towards the pirates but more kept on coming despite their efforts. "There's too many. They're almost here."

"Then let's show them what we got!" Jay shouted before the three put on sunglasses and turned on the lighthouse light, temporarily blinding the pirates.

Jay looked towards Nya. "You okay?"

Nya nodded before smiling. "Ready for round two." The two saw an explosive barrel and panicked slightly. This went on for a bit just until Dogshank and Doubloon showed up. Jay frowned and faced off with Doubloon while Nya was forcibly fighting with Dogshank due to her yanking Nya down. "Let me go!"

Dogshank tilted her head. "Sorry, Captain's orders. But it's nice to see you again. I've missed our playdates."

"It's nice seeing you too, but if my memory serves correct, I believe last time I said I wasn't gonna play nice!" Nya reached up and pulled onto Dogshank's hair, making her let Nya go.

"You pulled my hair? What kind of warrior pulls hair?!" Dogshank glared at Nya.

Nya frowned and took a fighting position. "The kind that are woefully undersized."

Jay widened his eyes at where Doubloon was. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Whatever you do, do not touch that lever." Doubloon looked at it before pulling it. Jay smiled. "Thanks." He fell underneath, where Nya and Dogshank were fighting. "You need help?"

Nya frowned. "I think I got this under control."

Jay noticed the tea spilling and let out a gasp. He shouted out. "Nya, the tea!"

Nya noticed before smirking. "Anybody home?" She pushed Dogshank into the portal. taking her to Tiger Widow Island and is confronted by the spider. The portal soon closed.

"Nya, give me the potion! We have to get out of here." Jay grabbed the tea and the two ran off. However, Monkey Wretch made them lose it. Soon enough, Nadakhan showed up with a scowl on his face.

"He's here. Make your wish that he's not a Djinn!" Nya shouted towards Jay.

"Nadakhan, I wish you weren't--" Nadakhan suddenly disappeared. "Where'd he go?!" The Djinn showed up again. "I wish you weren't a--"

Nadakhan frowned as he disappeared again. "You think I don't know what you're up to?"

"Ugh. He's too fast! I can't get the words out!" Jay complained.

"You'll have to shoot him. Use the poison dart!" Nya gasped as she almost fell but Jay caught her.

"Don't worry! I got you!"

"But now you can't shoot him, and he's still coming." Nya frowned.

Echo Zane showed up and protected Nya and Jay. "I am built to protect those who cannot protect themselves." Echo Zane frowned at Nadakhan. "You stepped on my friend. Now I will step on you."

Nadakhan raised an eyebrow tauntingly. "Oh, really? Give it a try, metal man." Before Echo Zane could do anything, however, he fell apart. Nadakhan laughed before speaking up. "Pure scrap."

"Oh, no! Shoot him, Jay!" Nya looked towards Jay.

Nadakhan looked towards Nya and floated closer and closer. "Come to me, my dear."

Jay shook his head. "If I try and shoot him, you'll fall right into his arms. Hold on." He held Nya firmly before
