Alright, so you just want to cut the cheese into thin slices." Dream demonstrated for George. He was teaching him how to make his homemade Mac and cheese. "Alright!" George took the knife out of his hand carefully, beginning to cut each slice. When dream turned around to find bread crumbs, George turned an eye to admire him once again. Well he was staring at his amazing structure, the knife slipped and cut the side of his free hand. He yelped and started bouncing around, an effort to calm the pain. "Ow ow ow-" Dream came up behind him. "Jesus. I gave you one job." Moving in front of him, he bended down and took his hand. "You won't need stitches. but we should probably put a bandage on it." George started to tear up a bit. When dream put an arm over his shoulder, he started calming down. They walked into the bathroom and George sat on the toilet lid. "Alright.." He pulled out a first aid kit and took out the hydrogen peroxide. George quickly recoiled his hand. "No! Im not putting that on my hand." He whined. "George, it doesn't hurt. It can't get infected, that will be worse." Dream kneeled down infront of him, dabbing a peroxide soaked paper towel on the cut. George bounced his leg up and down. When he finally opened his eyes, the bandage was already wrapped around his hand. As he stood up George impulsively pulled dream into a hug. "Thanks." He hesitantly hugged back, wondering what the feeling in his stomach was. It couldn't be butterflies, this was just his best friend hugging him. Maybe he was sensitive to blood. "No problem, let's go finish the food."

"This is so good," Everyone thought what Nick was saying. The food they made was delicious. While everyone was cracking jokes and making conversation at the dinner table, Clay sat there in silence, thinking about their hug. It was just a hug but it felt so..so intimate. "Clay? are you even listening?" Yelled Sapnap. Darryl was next to George, still stuffing his mouth with macaroni and cheese. "What?" He turned to Nick. "What do you think?" He repeated. "Uhh.." He gave an offended gasp that dream had not payed attention to his awesome story, thats when everyone broke out in laughs, except sapnap of course. "Yall suck." he scoffed, finishing his food and setting his dish in the sink.

It was around 1 am, George layed on his bed staring at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep, the thoughts of dreams arms wrapped around him again rushed through his head. The thing that pushed him to start crying was that he knew that he would never have a chance with him. Or he thought so. He cried into his pillow, his breathing getting heavy. He wanted to break something but knew that it would just make everything worse. He lied on his side and clutched the pillow as hard as he could.

Dream walked out of the bathroom and heard noises from Georges room, he put his ear up to the door. When he heard his cries his heart sunk. He felt horrible and that there wasn't much he could do. He would eventually decide on cheering him up tommorow. He didn't want to leave George alone, but he thought it would just make things worse if he interfered. So instead of going back to his bedroom, he sat on the living room couch. It was closest to Georges room, so if anything escalated, he'd be there for him. George eventually fell asleep, exhausted from the hours of crying. But dream stayed up, staring out the window for most of the night. What caused George to be up all night crying? Eventually Nick walked into the room, it was about 6 am. "How am I never the first one up!" The same sound of disappointment sounded in his voice as the morning before. Dream shrugged. His eyelids felt heavy but he wanted to stay awake. "Sapnap, 5 dollars if you make me coffee." Dream knew that Nick wouldn't just do him a favor. Dream didn't like caffeine, but hopefully it'd keep him up. "Okay but I want my money, Clay." He left into the kitchen. Out came George, it was surprising to him that George was up so early saying he only got a few hours of sleep. Plus, Darryl was always up before George. What an odd day. Dream walked over to George pulling him into a silent hug. George hugged back tiredly. "Goodmorning." Clay whispered, his voice laced with softness. He got a mumble back. George melted into dreams arms, sniffling. Dont cry, don't cry. pleaseee don't cry George. He thought to himself, he wasn't the best with people when they were emotional. But he would try for him. "George? you okay?" He nodded as he buried his face into dreams chest. This was partially due to their height difference. It was obvious to anyone George had gotten no sleep last night, because if he had he wouldn't be nuzzling into dreams chest, mumbling who knows what. "Cmon, lay down for a bit." He guided him to the couch but before he could stand up, George pulled him down with him. There was George, cuddling dream. Nothing he could do about it. But he somewhat enjoyed it, just not the teasing that came with it. Sapnap went into the living room to give dream his coffee. "Nick. I will murder you." He death stared him, taking his coffee. "Five dollars on my dresser." He responded. One hand rested on georges shoulder, the other holding the coffee to his lips.

It wasn't long before Dream was also asleep. Clay was sitting halfway up and George layed in his lap with Dream arm around him. Finally, Darryl woke up, and as he went to the living room he stopped in his tracks. Sapnap was sitting in a chair nearby. "Oh. My. Muffin." Darryl started to fangirl. "Sapnap!" He said in a hushed voice, "Do you see this?" He rolled his eyes. "Yeah I see it," He was only mad because he wanted someone to cuddle. When dream adjusted in his slumber, Georges eyes slowly blinked open, staring at bad, then dream, or his legs as he was still laying on him. "Huh..?" His voice was raspy, last night must've taken a toll on him. When he realized who he was laying on his face immediately went red. "Georgeeee, you're blushinggg!" Said Darryl teasingly. "Shut up, it's just hot in here." Sapnap gave him a sarcastic look. "Thats the lamest excuse ever." But instead of getting up, George decided to cherish the moment by getting more comfortable and covering up. "Oooo-" Right before Bad could finish a pillow was being thrown at him with Georges free arm, as the other one was under his head, still laying on dream. "Sorry sorry, ill stop." He muttered and met up with Nick in the kitchen.

George gave a small giggle at dreams messy hair and soft snores. George didn't really snore but he did sleep talk, hopefully he hadn't said anything weird. Turning from the TV, he snuggled up against his chest, waking him up. He looked around, he didn't remember falling asleep in the living room. Then he looked down. "George? You awake?"

"Mhm." He whispered, he couldn't raise his voice too much, his throat hurt. "Are you okay?" He nodded again. He honestly couldn't remember falling asleep with dream, but he loved the warmth he felt when they were together, even if he didn't feel the same.  "Dream, what time is it?" He took his phone off of the coffee table. "Just a bit after noon. We should probably get ready for the day." George groaned. "I dont want to move, I dont want to do anything except lay here." He croaked. "Alright. Well ill go-" He was interrupted. "No no, im comfy, don't go please," He muttered.

"What?" He couldn't understand what he was saying. "Dont go please." He said a bit louder. "Georgie, im just going to get some water and snacks, ill be back. Sounds like you kind of need it." He slowly slid off the couch. George sat up and rubbed his eyes as dream collected some food and drinks to last them for a bit. Today they would just relax, meanwhile, Darryl and Nick went to hangout at an abandoned school. Why? Who knew. When he came back over to George, he sat everything infront of them. Two bottles of water, a bag of chips, and candy. Sort of like a movie day. "Please drink some water." He said handing the bottle to him. He took a few sips before laying back down on dream. He could tell dream knew he wasn't in the right headspace, he just hoped he didn't know why. Dream rubbed georges back as they binge watched On My Block. Dream knew his feelings towards George. But he wouldn't confess, he couldn't lose George and his friendship. George felt a long wave of relief as Dream comforted him. He wanted it to last forever. George bolted up, almost hitting dreams chin with his head. "NO DONT YOU DARE KISS HER I SWEAR TO FUCK-" Before he could finish he coughed, grabbing his water at gulping it down. Dream started laughing. "You knew your throat hurt, why would you scream?" He layed back down, "Because ceaser is dumb." He said quietly. Dream chuckled again.

It was around 4 pm, they'd been on the couch all day, cuddling and watching Netflix. Nick and Darryl had finally gotten home. "Wow, how're you guys still in the same spots from before? we've been gone for hours." Asked bad. Then walked in nick. "Jesus you two, get a room." Clay blushed a bit. "Jesus you two.." He mocked. Sapnap scoffed. George layed there silently, probably because he was asleep, again. "Clay.." He said. Everyone in the room knew of his sleeptalking. Dream stared down at him. "Ooo! maybe he's dreaming about you," Nick knew this would bother dream. "Shush Sapitus, go read a book or something." Bad dragged Sapnap out of the room. "I.." George stopped his sentence there, Clay was still curious. What was he going to say? His thoughts were stopped as George moved around, making Dream readjusting so neither of them were uncomfortable. Georges face was buried into his hoodie, his hand sort of holding onto the fabric of his sleeve. It was a bit before Dream could fall asleep. He couldn't get George out of his head.
