Nicki POV

I have been watching TV all day,it's Valentine's Day and I'm a loner. I turn on my side as I watch 'Baggage Claim'. I get a call from Drake and I answer it.

"Nicki Nicki Nicki" He says

"Hi Aubrey" I say

"Where are you?" He asks

"Home" I say

"I'm coming to save you,put your shoes on" He says

"No I'm fine" I say

"I'll be the judge of that" He says

Before I can say anything else he hangs up. I sigh and get up,I put on a pair of sneakers and my red pull over. I take my phone off the charger just as I get a text from Drake saying he was outside. I lock up the house and get in the car.

"So where are we going on this lovely Thursday night?" I ask

"The carnival" He says

We go over to where it's at and we get our tickets. We get on about 3 rides before going to the concession stands,I get a slice of pizza and a soda. We walk around and I can't help but think about the last time I went to the carnival. I was with Ci and we finished it off by walking around. It's crazy how in life nothing is promised. People are deceiving but I look beyond what people say and focus on the intentions. We have to Cherish these nights and people,life is like living a movie we just won't get a sequel. I lost my little cousin from an act of senseless violence,they told me he wanted to stay with me but I didn't invite him originally. I will never understand why he didn't just ask me,family ties were broken right before me. The sad part is,the last time I seen my cousin he had this look in his eyes,he was scared and nervous. One minute we could have it all then the next it's all gone,I'm gonna ride with whoever I know is there for me,fuck what the world thinks about me or who I trust,that's just how it is. I'm not into fake industry parties or agendas,I simply associate myself with you for how you make me feel,nothing to do with material things. Even people that hurt me the most I forgave them,what's the point of holding grudges. Main thing is eventually all things go and I had to learn the hard way with Ciara and my cousin.
