After the Breach was sealed in 2024, while some people chose to believe that the world would finally go back to normal, others were cautious, and were motivated to keep the Earth Remnant Defense Corps active. While there were still 22 Jaegers left, it was decided to restore various different Jaegers of Marks 2-7. However, the 4 remaining Mark-1s, Coyote Tango, Romeo Blue, Cherno Alpha and Lucky Seven, were retired due to their age.

A handful of new Jaegers were also built alongside restoring many older ones. The first of these was Delta Avarice, a Mark-6 from Italy. It was privately funded by a wealthy British-Italian Billionaire, and was highly advanced.

This Jaeger made Gypsy Danger look like Brawler Yukon: Twin-mounted rail guns on each shoulder, a Gatling array in its chest, lightweight armor, and so much technobabble about the Conn-Pod mechanics it makes people's heads spin. It also has two wicked-looking swords that could extend from Delta Avarice's wrists. The crew that designed the mech did their research, and had a blatant fascination with the Mark-3s based on the designer notes surrounding the blueprint.

When the Jaeger Drones were corrupted 3 years later, Delta Avarice was stationed at the Seattle Shatterdome, and was responsible for destroying a huge amount of the drones. When the Mark-6 was damaged, parts were salvaged from a few damaged Jaegers to send the Mark-6 to aid a squadron of 20 other Jaegers to Tokyo...Delta Avarice arrived too late to fight, but was able to help some of the more heavily damaged Jaegers.
