---Sky---

Y/n's POV

Sky has been nothing but kind to me and now it is time to do something back. I have decided to make a meal for him. I asked Wild for the ingredients and he gave them to me. Not without asking if he could help me cook off course.

I plan make a mushroom omelet. It doesn't look too hard to make. I really hope that Sky will like it. I have been awake for quite some time, but I had to wait. Sky is a heavy sleeper and if I made the omelet earlier it would have gone cold. That's why I'm making it now when he is slowly waking up.

'Ok y/n, you can do this just don't burn it and you'll be fine' I mentally encourage myself. I take the ingredients from my pouch. One plain mushroom I picked myself, a bird egg, goat butter and three rock salts. I throw it all in the cooking pot Wild lent me.

It bubbles and fizzes. It's not looking that bad to be honest. When it is done I scoop it onto a plate, also borrowed from Wild, and go over to Sky.

"Hey Sky," I begin blushing a bit "I made this mushroom omelet especially for you". "Oh, y/n that is very sweet of you" I hand him the plate and look at him with hopeful eyes. 'I hope that he likes it'. All of the sudden he looks down and coughs.

When our eyes meet he shows me a strained smile. "It is good y/n, thank you" he says. "It's bad isn't it? I thought I... I thought it was good because it didn't look awful..." I mumble.

"I'm thankful for all your effort really. It is just... too... salty" he carefully states. 'I put three rocks in it and I'm meant to put only one in'. I'm such an idiot! I slap myself on the head. "Thank you for your honesty. I know what I did wrong and it was quite stupid to be honest" I laugh at myself.

"Ok then I'm glad you could find the mistake and learn from it. Maybe you could make my another omelet sometime that isn't extremely salty?" Sky kindly smiles at me. I nod.

'Next time my omelet will be flawless!'

---Wild---

Y/n's POV

Wild is always cooking for everyone and now it is my turn to cook for him. I plan on making a desert since I know Wild has a big sweet tooth. A honey crepe doesn't look to hard to make. The hardest part will be me cooking without Wild's help or knowledge. That boy can smell food from miles away!

Maybe I can trick him into leaving camp to take a walk or something? Now, I have already collected and bought the ingredients over the past couple days. I could find a bird egg, honey and sugarcane in the wild. But the milk and tabantha wheat had to be bought. Luckily we stopped at a village.

The only person who is aware of my plans is Twilight. He lent me some rupees so I could buy the ingredients necessary for the honey crepe.

Wild made dinner without knowing I would make him dessert and was eating a lot of the meat skewers he cooked. I'm worried he won't have any room left after he is finished! Twilight noticed my concern and patted Wild on the back. "Wild put that food down and come with me. There are some things I need to talk too you about" "But, I'm not done yet" he whinnied like a little child.

Twi's stern look was enough to make him come quietly. When the two Hylains are out of sight I stand up. "Everybody I want to make Wild something so do not bother me ok?" I ask the Links who are still sitting at the fire. They stand up and move away so I take that as a sign for me to begin cooking.

"Okay, Wild is a top chef so let's not mess this up. Sugar spice and everything nice" I laugh at my own joke as I throw in the ingredients. "An egg, and now let's pour the milk in". all is going well until I tried to put the crepe on a plate. It crumbled and fell apart.

"No, my precious crepe!" I shout making Wind look at me in a funny way. I pour the honey on top of the demolished crepe to finish it and cover up my blunder.

"Twilight, why did you take me all the way over there to ask me a question you could've just asked me at camp" "Sorry Cub, you will soon see why I did it" I hear two voices conversate. The first person to enter the clearing is Wild. I walk up to him.

"I tried to make you something Wild. But... I failed, sorry" I look down holding the plate up so he can see it. He grabs the fork and to my surprise tries a bite of the pathetic crepe. "Thank you y/n, it doesn't taste bad so why are you sad? I think you just struggled with putting the crepe on the plate. If you plan on cooking again please let me help. That way I can guide you" Wild offers.

"You mean that?" I ask him. He nods and smiles a cheeky grin seeing my excitement. "Off course, anything for you y/n" he replies softly.

---Twilight---

Y/n's POV

Twilight has been telling me a lot about his village, Ordon. He told me about his friends and work. It sounds so interesting. I already know everything he tells me because of the game but it is different when I hear it coming from his own mouth.

He also mentioned Ordon's famous pumpkins and the delicious soup you can make with them. Ever since he mentioned the soup, I wanted to make it. I know I'm not the best cook so I'm a little worried about how it will turn out.

I asked Wild for ingredients and he gave me the right amount. It is a shame that there is no way for me to get a hold of the real Ordon pumpkins so I can't make a soup, but I can make a stew. I now have everything I need thanks to Wild. A bottle of milk, one piece of tabantha wheat, goat butter and off course one fortified pumpkin.

I waited for the time to set up camp and now the time has come to make it. Wild is distracting Twilight from coming to talk to me. I begin by pouring in the milk. Next, I throw in the tabantha wheat and goat butter. The finishing touch are the pieces of the fortified pumpkin that I cut myself.

I hummed to myself while watching the stew cook. Twilight must have smelled something and saw me at the cooking pot because he is walking over to where I am, excusing himself too Wild.

"Y/n, what are you making?" he asks making me panic. "Uhm, something for you..." I whisper. His eyes widen at my response. "Why are you doing that?" "Because you talked to me about the famous Ordon soup and I wanted to make it for you. But there was no way for me to get Ordon pumpkins so instead it will be a stew, sorry". "That is no reason to be sorry for. Thank you for trying to make it for me" Twilight says.

Suddenly the smell of burn fills the air. "Oh no, I know that smell... y/n you might want to check your stew" Wild comments sniffing the air. I turn around to find my glorious stew burning. "No no no no!".

I throw a water bucket over the fire to stop the stew from getting hotter. "Twi... I'm sorry I got carried away by talking to you and forgot the stew" I apologise. He doesn't seem to mind. He puts his hand on my shoulder making me look him in his eyes. "I am grateful for your effort so don't be ashamed it didn't work out the way you wanted"

"Ok" I reply feeling a bit cheered up. "I guess I'll be making dinner then?" Wild asks out of nowhere making us laugh. "Right, but next time it will be my turn to cook again and then I won't burn it" I wink at Wild.

---Warriors---

Y/n's POV

I've made up my mind. I will be making a rice bowl with meat for Warriors because of all the help he has given me. I once heard him say he liked meat, I don't know why though... Oh well, perhaps it gives him a stamina boost? I don't need that many ingredients. I just need one rock salt, one Hyrule rice and one raw piece of meat.

I already acquired the first two so now I just need to get my hands on a raw piece of meat. That shouldn't be too hard. My plan is to go hunt for a boar. I don't know how to hunt so that's a problem... I think I need to ask a little help for that. 'Wild is the best archer so it would be best to ask him'.

"Hey Wild, can you please help me hunt?" I ask him. "Why? I have enough meat and fish for at least three more days" he answers. "I want to make dinner for the Captain, and the last thing I need is raw meat. I want to catch it myself or with help from you" I state. "Well in that case I guess I can help you" "thank you Wild!" I beam.

Wild walks to Time to tell him that he and I are going hunting. With Time's knowing we set out to find an animal. I see a boar after a solid 15 minutes of walking. 'Perfect' I think. I nudge Wild and he takes out his bow. He puts his finger on his mouth to signal me to stay quiet. I nod. The moment Wild let's go of his arrow I hold my breath.

*thud*

The arrow hits its target, and the boar falls down. "Good shot" I comment eying the arrow. "Thank you, I practiced a lot" 'I know that'. We take the animal back to camp. "Do you know how to take the meat of the body?" Wild questions. "Yes, I do. Thank you for all your help up until now" I smile.

When I was finished cutting off the meat, I throw all the ingredients in the cooking pot. 'All is going well' I twinkle. It smelled to good that even some unwanted creatures came to check it out. Out of nowhere a frog jumped out of the bushes.

'I don't like the way it's staring at my food' my sweat drops. All of the sudden the frog makes a run for the cooking pot. "NOOOOOOO!!!!!" I try to stop it, but it was already to late. The stupid green bastard jumps in and sinks to the bottom like Jack from Titanic.

The others heard my screaming and came rushing to me. "Y/n, what happened is everything alright?" Time asks me, worry lacing his voice. "I was making food for Warriors to thank him for everything, but a frog came and jumped in and now it's dubious food for sure" I huff. Everyone laughs at my comment until the one and only Warriors speaks up.

"It is very sweet you tried to make me something y/n. What did you try to prepare?" he asks. "A rice bowl with meat" I reply. He smirks "Thank you y/n". He turns around to Legend and says "Why aren't you nice to me?". "Because you're to much of a Drama Queen" Legend growls back making Warriors put his hand to his head dramatically.

"Now you've hurt my feelings" he laughs the others, including me, joining in with him. 'Warriors sure is something else'.
