Y/n's POV

Last thing I remember is darkness and silence. I open my eyes to find myself lying on the ground in... a forest?! I don't know how I ended up in a forest. I wasn't kidnapped was I? I slowly sit up and look around. "Strange, I do not believe there is a forest like this near my house".

Suddenly I realise that I'm wearing clothes that are not mine. 'It looks like something from the Legend of Zelda game franchise. Like a mixture of Link's usual green tunic from Twilight Princes and Link's tunic from Breath of the Wild. But than in f/c'. before I can admire myself even more the sound of growling could be heard.

A growling I know far to well because of all my gaming. Bokoblins. I stand up and survey my surroundings. I scream when a twig snaps behind me. I turn around and see not one but three bokoblins staring at my hungerly.

I try to run like any sane person would do but it is no use. I approach a cliff and desperately scan my surroundings again in hope to find something that I can defend myself with.

"Hey there, you! Try to avoid the bokoblins attacks, we're trying to find a way over this cliff to help you" I spin around to the sound of the voice. There stood the Hero of Time himself. Looking just like the Linked Universe comics describe him.

Trying my best not to freak out right now. I mean come on, bokoblins attacking me and seeing Time? If I'm not dreaming than I am very happy.

*swoosh*

And in a lot of danger. 'That club almost hit me'. I need to focus 'Perhaps I can use those sticks as a weapon... If I snap them in half they'll get a sharper edge'. I take my changes and snatch the sticks from the ground, breaking them in half and looking back at the bokoblins. They seem surprised that I don't run but actually want to fight, with sticks.

The first bokoblin jumps at me making me fall to the ground. It clearly didn't think about my sticks. When it jumped on me I held my make shift weapons in front of me. So instead of just pushing me down it also shis-kebabed itself.

I scramble from under the bokoblin and position myself in a fighting stance again. The next enemy runs at me but this time I'm ready. I dodge the club by stepping aside. I kick the stupid creature down. Now it was my time to jump. I launched myself in the air landing on the bokoblin, stabbing it in the head to make sure it's dead.

I forgot about the Link's making their way over to me until I heard another voice. "Look out!" someone screamed but it was to late. The third bokoblin hit me right on the head. "Ugh" I groan clutching my head. Blood coating the tips of my fingers.

"Wild, don't you have an extra sword you can throw over to her? We won't be able to get over the cliff in time!" Twilight shouts at Wild. Next thing I knew there was a sword thrown to me. It landed with a thud on the ground beside me. I crawl to the sword and hold onto it tightly. I use a tree to pull myself up.

'I am NOT going down with my favourite characters ever watching me!'. The bokoblin doesn't know what to do so I take my change and charge. Before the red beast could react I stabbed it straight through it's stomach. The last creature falls down. Dead.

"Phew". My grip on the sword loosens while I examen it. 'Looks like a traveler's sword'. Before I could get a closer look at it I hear footsteps approaching me. The large company of Links finally found a way over the cliff. They halt in front off me.

---Sky---

Sky's POV

"Are you alright miss? You took a hard hit" I say looking at the young lady in front off me. 'She looks about my age...' I think. She grabs her head again. "I'm alright. It's nothing" she answers. I'm shocked that she said that because she didn't look like she could fight. Yet she still won and now she stands there with a bleeding head wound saying that she's fine.

"Please let us help. We have some bandages to patch you up" Time speaks up. I agree with him and nod. Instead of saying something back the girl just smiles and slowly walks closer.

"Let's set up camp here for the night, it's already getting dark" Wild comments. I take some bandages from my pouch and inch closer to the young woman whose name is still unknown. "What is your name? Mine is Sky that there is Time and Twilight. The person making a fire is Wild and next to him are Wind and Hyrule. Those two people arguing are Warriors or Captain and Legend. Lastly the person who is trying to break them up is called Four".

She nods again not questioning our strange names. 'That's a surprise'. "My name is y/n, nice to meet you all" y/n says sweetly. "Can you come a little closer please? I need to clean that wound before bandaging it" she scoots closer to me making me feel a tad bit awkward. "This might sting so don't be alarmed". She closes her eyes while I'm dabbing the wet cloth on her head to remove the blood.

After I wrapped her head with bandages she looks at me with thankful eyes. "Thank you very much for helping me" she utters. "No problem. If you don't mind me asking where do you live? And, how did you end up this far in the woods?" I ask her.

"I-I don't know, I just woke up in the middle of the forest..." y/n looks down at the ground her ears drooping. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. Wait here I need to go ask Time something" I smile and stand up making my way over to Time.

"Hey Time? About that girl... her name is y/n and she has no idea how she ended up in the forest. Do you think we could help her out and let her travel with us? I mean, she DID fight those bokoblins very bravely earlier. She might be one of us who didn't receive any training yet... so can she please stay?" I plead with my best puppy eyes. "Yes, she can stay if she wants. I thought about it myself before you came to talk to me and it would seem the best to let her travel with us" Time answers.

"That's great! I'll go and tell err- ask her" I walk over to y/n with a smile on my face. "Hello Sky, why are you smile like that?" "Y/n would you like to travel with us?" I ask I little loudly.

Less than a second later she was smiling even brighter than me. "I would love to" she jumps up. "Ow, not ready for sudden movement yet" she chuckles sitting back down. I sit with her. "Hey everybody! Dinner's ready!" Wild shouts making me take y/n's hand. "Wait until you taste Wild's cooking" I drag her to the circle of Link's to get some food.

---Wild---

Wild's POV

We walked closer to the girl while I pulled my hood more down. She's already been scared enough by those bokoblins and I don't want to scare her away with my scars. Those usually frighten people. She looks at the dead monsters on the ground than at the sword I threw her.

She slowly walks towards me still holding the sword. "Thank you for letting me use the sword" she says holding the sword in front of her so I can take it back. "No problem. Uhm you can keep the sword, I have enough" I answer pulling my hood down even more.

Instead of walking away she asks me a question I am very afraid of. "Why are you still wearing your hood down? Can you please take it off? I would like to see your face completely" she asks. I reach up and pull away the only thing that covered my scars. I'm waiting for her to gasp but she never does.

When I look her in the eyes I see that she isn't afraid or disgusted. I could feel the others looking at us so I decide to change the subject. "Your head is still bleeding a bit. Is it ok if I treat it? I have a lot of experience with head wounds" I ask her genuinely worried. "That would be very kind, thank you" she replies sitting down on a log a few metres from the dead bokoblins.

"We'll set up camp here" Twilight comments getting a nod of agreement from Time. I search in my pouch for bandages and a cloth. I put the bandages on the log next to the girl and I realised I that I don't know her name yet.

"Hey, what's your name?" "My name is y/n. Who are you and your friends?" she responses. "Well, I'm Wild. That is Warriors we also call him Captain. The one making the fire is Hyrule while the one throwing more wood on the fire is Legend" y/n nods knowingly. I point to Time and Twilight speaking. "The one on the right is Time and on the left is Twilight. The small one sitting on the log is Four and next to him is Sky" "And I'm Wind! Nice to meet you!" Wind interrupts me. "Y/n" y/n shakes Winds hand. "Hey Wind come here!" someone shouts. "Coming!" Wind shouts back walking back.

I turn back to the h/c Hylian. "Can you wait here? I need to go make the cloth wet. I'll be right back" she smiles warmly. I walk into the woods and I luckily find a small creek very close to camp. I dip the cloth in the water and squeeze it so it isn't too wet.

On my way back I see y/n still waiting patiently with her eyes closed. "I'm back" I exclaim. She opens her eyes. "Here, this might sting a little bit" I lightly dab her face. She softly winces making me stop. "I-I'm sorry" I apologise. "No need to be sorry. I should've watched out better. That is not your fault. Please continue I will try to be quieter" she replies.

When the blood was removed I gently wrapped the bandage around her head. "Thank you again" y/n smiles shyly making me blush. Twilight walks up to me from behind me tapping my shoulder. "Wild, are you ready to make dinner we're all very hungry" I forgot I had to cook.

"Yeah, sorry I'll begin right now" I apologise. "Y/n are you hungry too? If you want you can stay for dinner" "Actually Time said if she wanted she could travel with us if she wanted to". Y/n's eyes sparkle with excitement and she nods furiously. "Oh, that's not a good idea... Nodding that quickly with my head not staying with you guys" she says. We laugh and I stand up to make food.

"Wait until you have tried Wild's cooking than you never want to leave" Twilight laughs. "I already don't want to" she whispers very quietly. I'm not certain if I really heard that.

---Twilight---

Twilight's POV

I am the first one to make it over the cliff thanks to the tree Wild cut down to function as a bridge. The girl just defeated the last bokoblin. she stands unsteadily and softly leans against a tree next to her. That gesture makes me worried of her condition.

She didn't look like a traveller or warrior so it is pretty lucky she managed to defeat those three bokoblins. I step closer to her to examine her wound. "Hey I'm Twilight, is it ok if I check out your wound?" She doesn't seem to mind that as she slowly steps forward.

"I'm y/n" she tells me. I inspect the wound and turn around to Time. "It seems bad but not deadly. It may be best to let me treat her and set up camp here for tonight" "that would both be fine." he turns around "Ok, Hyrule you go in the woods with Legend to get some wood. Wild, try to prepare the food for dinner. Warriors, Wind and Four, you go look around the area to make sure that there are no more monsters. Lastly Sky you come with me there is something I want to discuss with you" Time says.

"Now I know everyone's name too I guess" she notes. "Alright I don't think I have enough bandages... I will go and ask Wild for some. Don't be alarmed I will be right back ok?" "ok". I walk over to the scarred Hylian.

"Wild," I speak up getting his attention "do you have any more-" "yes, and a cloth too if you want" he interrupts knowing exactly what I want. I thank him as he hands the bandages and the cloth over to me. "You just need to make to cloth wet. Wind said that there was a small river nearby just behind that bush" I thank him again walking in the direction he pointed.

After I am done with making the cloth wet I make my way make to y/n. She has a sharp hearing for when I walked closer to her she immediately opened her eyes. "I'm not a bokoblin don't worry" I comment seeing her slightly scared behavior.

She relaxes again when I start dabbing her head removing the blood in the progress. I unrolled the bandages Wild gave me and wrap her head. "Thank you, Twilight" she says tiredly. Suddenly an idea fly's through my head.

'Maybe she can stay if I ask Time. The way she fought was unexperienced but looked like our techniques. She might be one of us and the first girl Link. Even if she doesn't carry the name...'. I stand up to go talk to Time but Time was already in front of me.

"I know what you're thinking and yes she can stay. If she wants to" he speaks up. I am surprised he knew about my thoughts so I just nod. "I would really like to stay with you guys" y/n comments from behind us.

"Then it is settled, y/n will travel with us for a while. By the way Wild said dinner is almost ready. You might be hungry so I suggest you come eat". When Time brought up the food y/n's ears perked up. 'She must be really hungry...'

We all move over to the cooking pot and start eating the delicious food Wild made.

---Warriors---

Warriors' POV

When we were all in front of the girl I got the change to get a closer look at her. Long/Short h/c hair and e/c eyes. 'Not bad' I think to myself. This is quite a pretty lady who fought three bokoblins all on her own. That is very impressive for someone who doesn't know how to fight. At least I think she can't fight. When the others tried to find a way over the cliff I was watching her.

Her techniques looked surprisingly like ours but just not developed. 'Could she be one of us who just started her journey?!'. I need to ask her name...

"Hello there miss what is your name and are you alright?" I ask her looking at her bleeding head. "I'm y/n and I-I am ok, just dizzy..." she replies. "Here let me help" I walk closer to offer her some support. She takes my arm and I softly push her on a log. I turn around making eye contact with Time.

He got my hint and spoke up "Ok everyone, lets set camp up for tonight Warriors you can tend to y/n". I glance at the young woman who is sitting on the log.

"Alright then, I have some bandages to wrap your head but first I need to remove the blood to avoid infection. I will use this soft cloth to do that, but I first need to make it wet. Just stay right here". I go to Four to ask if he has seen any water nearby because he already scouted the area with Legend. But I'm not asking him.

"Hey Four, seen any rivers or creeks close to camp?" I ask him. "Yes, there is one about a five minute walk in that direction" he answers pointing south. "Thanks" I say before walking in the direction the water should be.

It was indeed a walk of five minutes so in total it took me 11 minutes to come back with the now wet cloth. 10 minutes for walking back and forth and 1 for soaking the cloth. "Y/n, I'm back. Are you still dizzy?" I question. "Not as much as before, thank you for asking" she replies politely.

"I'm going to clean your wound, just so you know it might hurt. Please try to stay as still as possible it will hurt less that way" she nods in response and I start dabbing the cloth on her wound.

She has her eyes closed to concentrate on moving as little as possible. "You can open your eyes, I'm done now" I say after wrapping her head with the bandages. She looked relieved that it was over and thanked me for helping her.

"Dinner is ready!" Wild shouts. Y/n's stomach rumbled "You could stay for dinner if you want. I'm sure Wild made enough, he always makes too much anyway" I mumble the last part. "If y/n is up for it she can stay a lot longer and travel with us if she wants" Time says appearing behind her.

"Really?!" she exclaims happily and a little too excited for she grabbed her head quickly afterwards. "Mmmm, that would be wonderful" she says calmer and quieter now. "That is good now I have one question for you... if you don't mind me asking where did you come from? You where pretty deep in the forest without the right equipment" Time asks y/n putting my thoughts into a real question.

"I don't know how I got here... I just woke up laying on the ground" she replies looking down. "Hey, that's ok you can travel with us now" I say grabbing her shoulder. "Thank you, Warriors" she smiles at me.

"Are coming to eat or not???" Wild shouts again. 'Right, the food will get cold'. Y/n, Time and me walk over to the fire and start eating Wild's food. For once everyone is quiet, enjoying Wild's cooking.
