Third POV

When the nekos, Katsuki, and Hitoshi left Aldera for good, their education was partially up in the air for discussion. Nezu seemed adamant about getting all of them under his tutelage, but all of the parents still had hesitations about letting the hybrid take over. Eventually, nezu scheduled a meeting between him and each set of parents. Aizawa and Yamada were the easiest to convince since the neko had already been his students before; and, Yamada was very for nezu taking over their education and if Yamada wanted something, Aizawa usually caved.

The Bakugo's and the Shinso's were a bit more difficult, the Shinso's more so. While the Bakugos were in appreciation for the opportunity, they still wanted Katsuki to be around kids his age, so that he could learn to be more social. However, once Nezu pointed out that much of Katsuki's current roughness came from the public school system that praised their son for his quirk; it was only after he met Hitoshi, and later the nekos, that his protectiveness and loyalty began to stem from that roughness.

The Shinsos were also hesitant to allow Hitoshi but for the opposite reason. While they also wanted Hitoshi to have a better social life, similar to the Bakugos and Katsuki, they were worried that by going to the same school as much older students, Hitoshi would have an even higher chance of getting bullied. Both adults had struggled for years to get Hitoshi to open up about the bullying and quirk-discrimination. Hitoshi's Aunt want the most inclined to simply homeschool Hitoshi for the last year.

This was a more difficult duo to convince on Nezu's part, especially 'cause he could sympathize with their worry. Hitoshi had gone through awful treatment and neither guardian wanted their nephew to go through any more hurt. But Nezu could sympathize because he was also protective of the nekos. He explained that with all of his students, personal and not, he sought to make an environment that wasn't shrowded by judgment and negativity. Nezu hated quirk discrimination and was an avid participant and donater in many quirk-equality non-profit groups and events.

After each individual explanation, both the Bakugo's and the Shinso's were finally convinced to let their children learn under Nezu. After getting confirmation from each set of adults, Nezu took an afternoon to create a game plan for his four new students. He could ignore his duties as Principal but he would be beside himself if he ignored any child's education. So Nezu made it so all his meetings and principal duties could take place in the afternoon, and he could teach the four boys who would come into school with Aizawa and Yamada in the morning.

While Nezu was in meetings the boys could work on workbooks, projects, or read, and any questions they may have that they couldn't solve together, they could write them down and ask Nezu when he returned. Nezu's lessons would be fully rounded and focus on subjects that go beyond what is studied in public schools. While he would make sure they are all proficient in every core subject he would have them each specialize in a subject that they individually excelled in.

So after telling each set of guardians about the schedule he created, they informed the teens. To say each reaction was a surprise was far from the truth. Respectfully, each of the four teens' reactions were expected and appropriate. While Katsuki and Hitoshi were initially shocked at the idea of being Nezu's private students, their follow-through reactions were very in tune with their personalities.

Katsuki began to proudly stomp around, proclaiming that this was meant for him and "that all the extras at Aldera could go fuck themselves" for thinking they could be better than him and his friends. On the other hand, Hitoshi was very nervous about becoming a private student of UA's principal. While Hitoshi knew that he was smart and very mature for his age, he was very hesitant about going to such a prestigious school to be taught directly by the individual who had set the course for hundreds of pros. Hitoshi's only relief came from the nekos, who expressed their excitement and happiness at being able to learn under their honorary uncle again.

All in all, when the following Monday came around and the 4 teens and 2 adults were packed into the car, they were all busing with excitement. As they were teachers, when Aizawa pulled into the teachers' parking lot, the normal students had yet to arrive on campus. This meant an easy walk to the principal office where Nezu had asked Cementos to renovate the small classroom the hybrid had previously used when teaching the nekos. There was a whiteboard, 4 bookcases that held books and school supplies, and one large table in the middle with 4 chairs. It was quaint and built just for the 4 teens.

Aizawa and Yamada left the teens in the room to situate themselves and look around and went to find Nezu. About 10 minutes later, the door to the mini classroom opened again and the small hybrid walked in, "Good morning my young learners! I hope you are finding everything alright." All of the boys nodded and sat in their seats properly. Walking around the table to place a packet of papers in front of each boy, the hybrid went on to explain, "As this is your first day with me, I would like to conduct a test to gauge where each of your skills falls. I have done this test with Sun and Moon but it has been a while since our last test so I am having all of you do it now."

Each of them opened their packets while Nezu set the rest of the papers he entered with to the side. "Today will be less of a lesson day and more of a placement and get-to-know-each-other day. As you know your lessons will go on until about noon as I have my own duties and meetings to be part of. However, after your free time for lunch or relaxing from 12 to 1, you will be working on workbooks or projects until Shouta and Hizashi can bring you all home. I am not one to assign homework, but I shall give you assignments that you can choose to take home for extra study or practice.

Now I will leave you to get started on your packets and check on you every half-hour. I you all finish and I am not in the room just press this button," Nezu pointed out a red button on the wall before saying his farewells and leaving the room. Shoto was sitting next to Izuku and across from Hitoshi, who was next to Katsuki. They all looked at each other for a second before opening their packets and quietly going through the questions. They all got through the first couple of pages easily as the questions were designed for much younger students. It wasn't until about the fourth page that the question became quite difficult and they all took a lot longer to get through each question.

Nezu came in a couple of times, asking if they wanted anything to eat or drink and to remind them that there was no time limit on their assignment, he just wanted to gauge their knowledge level. After about 2 and a half hours, all of them had finished the packet. They had all left a good chunk of questions unanswered at the end of the packet, but when Nezu came back to grab the packets, he told them not to worry about it since they were supposed to be high school level questions.

"Now," Nezu said, putting the packets on his desk and grabbing the other papers that he had originally come in with, "I have heard much about you and I'm sure you all know much about me. However, what you don't know about me and my specific way of schooling is that I like to help student specialize in a subject that they enjoy and thrive in. Sun, this is similar to my helping you in your analysis hobby." The neko looked at his teacher brightly and nodded his head happily.

"I have designed each of your subjects based on what I know about your individual personalities and likenesses. While your schedule and lesson plan will be formed around how you did in your packets, this subject was designed the moment I got confirmation of your education being in my control. To start; Sun, you will continue on the subject of hero and quirk analysis. You have a bright mind that thinks quickly, analysis is your happy place. Moon, I am setting you up with environmental and temperature studies, I have been told about your green thumb when out in the garden and I've watched you messing with your hot-n-cold quirk.

Katsuki, I have heard of your exceptional cooking skills and diet plans so I am setting you up with the subject of food and health. Finally, Hitoshi, I understand you want to take on the underground approach so I am setting you up with an espionage subject and hero law. Each of you has specialties, and it is better to start early to hone those stills and make them your secret weapon." All of the boys looked at the hybrid in awe and excitement. This was definitely going to be better than Aldera.

"I am aware that while I could offer my own knowledge in each of these subjects, there are better mentors that are capable of helping. So once a week, maybe twice, during your afternoon self-study time, I will have other heroes helping you out. Sun and Hitoshi, I will have Shouta helping you two out since he teaches hero law and is one of the best teachers on espionage; Katsuki, I am going to set you up with Lunch Rush; and Moon, we don't have any teachers who specifically relate to the environment but I am going to put you with Thirteen because as a rescue hero, they deal with need the knowledge and understand of many different environment that people need saving from."

Izuku, Shoto, Katsuki, and Hitoshi all looked at Nezu with mouths open. They couldn't wrap their heads around what Nezu was telling them. They would get to study what they wanted and with heroes who could mentor them in each subject! This was an amazing opportunity and any worry they had about the rest of their school year went out the window and they couldn't thank Nezu more. While their actual studies at UA as official students wouldn't be until they were enrolled in classes, baring that they passed the exams, this was definitely the start of their next chapter together.
