“Oh fuck-” My voice was faint and slightly muffled. The constant pulsation within my chest accelerated like a terrified passenger on a speeding carriage driven by a drunkard. Not exactly the best feeling. I know the piano stool was only about 19 inches in height (that is if my field on estimation wasn’t as bad as my cooking) and I wouldn’t exactly die, but … it just wasn’t cool to topple over like another clumsy kiddo.

The Thump! Thump! Thump! was so damn loud, even the lifeless vessels buried underground could probably hear it.  It was like my blood pumping organ was hanging in my ears, but I didn’t know well enough if it was my own or if it was Levi’s.

Get the fuck off me, you filthy brat!” Was what I anticipated of the irritated corporal screaming at me, and I was waiting for the monumental moment when Levi massacres the population of many living cells as he slaps me off in an outrageous manner. But surprisingly, it was taking longer than I expected. Was he actually conscious? Or was he dead from the huge 19 inches fall?

I wouldn’t blame him; a chicken egg possibly couldn’t survive such height either.

There was no doubt that there was this feeling deep inside of me, like an immoral darker version of the already not so bright myself, lurking underneath my skin. I could sense the itch in my arms, wishing to perhaps wrap around and embrace the man under me.

No. Never in my right mind would I do something so dignity-crushing.

His abrupt breathing was heavy as it whistled next to my ear. The rising and falling of his chest made it distinguishable with every breath he took, its warmth eventually eating into my skin like a contagious virus. I could practically feel his abnormally tense heartbeat under my cold icy palm. Unusually tense, unusually … fast.

“Are you dead?” My lilt was written with the obvious sarcasm I could never not include.

“Are you?” His reply was husky and deep as it whispered, sending shivers down my so called spine.

“Idiot. You sound like you’re having a heart attack. Go get that checked out or something.”

I pushed myself up from his drumming chest; a bit grossed out that physics was such a piece of shit, deciding that it’d be nice for once that a girl lands on a guy, despite the awkwardness and astray. Scoffing seemed like the only logical thing to do as I noticed that little rise of his edge, emitting one of those crooked sneers that would look good on any boy who did it with the right attitude.

But seriously, cut the crap. Do you know how misleading it would be if someone was to walk in on us right now?

He smirked at my outraged expression.

“You weren’t so self-conscious back then when we were in this very same position.”

"A wet, damp filthy tunnel was no place to make out, is it mister?" I immediately retorted for the sake of my own poise.

"Are you suggesting that this is more suitable?"

His arm reached up and seized my collar, pulling me down again. Immediately, my arms stretched out, my palms planted firmly next to his head, stopping the distance from closing. My strands of hair unravelled down like wild vines, my knees next to his sides. Levi found it humorous as he noticed my trembling branches, which kept my figure hovering mid-air over his.

“You piece of f-”

“How long are you going to keep the act up?” Those dark metallic eyes of his observed the obvious embarrassment growing on my face. His grip was tight, his strength was everlasting, and shitty gravity was his damn ally this round.

“Keep what up?” That same question escaped in my childish, clueless voice with the main focus of pissing him off.

“Don’t play dumb with me, you lil’ shit.”

With one grand tug, my knees lost their hold on the ground, which my body had lost its support, landing on top of him harshly. The thumping of my heart immediately surged up to an extremely unhealthy level, releasing huge amounts of cortisol as my lips helplessly collided with his. My breathing was hesitant and uneven, wheezing for another breath while he kept his mouth forcefully connected with mine.

These same feelings were growing more and more obvious. His lips were soft and tempting and angelic and all the other adjectives that described as such, but I fought them off with all the mental strength I had. The moment he made his first move on me, I shoved him off completely. Why was I so regretful the second I pushed him off that night?

Then, what was this?

His calloused palm slowly slid down the nape of my neck, making me cringe and trembled to his unfamiliar touch. His warm breath melting into my neck felt tingly… but unexpectedly pleasuring.

“Sto-”

It was probably the most mistaken time to speak, not that my timing was always superb anyway, because Levi and his discourteous tongue intruded into my mouth ever so easily.  The additional warm muscle in my cavern was a heart racer. My voice sounded like a broken guitar as my vocal cords vibrated, but my lilt just sucked at projecting.

Every cell in my body was screeching that this wasn’t right. I knew it, my heart knew it, and my mind knew it. I could sit cross legged and preach for three hours straight about why a superior-subordinate thing was so unholy and should be completely avoided.  This was wrong, so so wrong. As wrong as snatching candy away from a child.

His fingers ran through my hair as we had a little exclusive tongue battle situated in my mouth, struggling for control.

Oh God. As much as I tried to push off him, his grip was as tight and cutting as a vulture’s, obviously gained much experience after last time. My arms persistently fought as well as my tongue, fighting him off like an illness. But when it seemed like nature's force was on his side, and you were the one getting pulled down by the laws of gravitation, the odds were never in your favour.

Levi’s tongue swirled around mine, and this odd feeling of having another tongue in my mouth was completely insane and enough to make me weak. I’ve never gotten this close to a guy before, not to the state of having his tongue in my mouth, exchanging saliva and possibly the taste of after dinner chocolates. And to make matters worse, adding additional pink (or more like crimson red) to my face, was the fact that it was Corporal Levi. LEVI. The man that over half of the remaining population of humanity, mainly girls that is, fell head over heels in love with.

His tongue in my mouth. With me on top of him. That little detail was enough to stiffen my throat, holding in a scream as captive as it battled for freedom through the walls of my gorge.

I was asking to get murdered by his fan girls. And chances were bloody high that my body would hyperventilate to the point where I would black out.

He dug his face into mine. And I didn’t know why, it must have been the lack of oxygen, but my lungs were demanding for more air, heaving in heavy breaths. Not the demanding those spoilt imps do when they were screaming for an extra second of life while someone was shoving your head underwater, but purely for pleasure. Yes, this tiny little spark of excitement that wasn’t even passionate enough for recognition.

Fuck, I was really going insane. There was no way I could be excited about this.

I could pick up his soft moans as I was making progress to his sacking. Tongue style, that is. My face was ceaselessly pulled towards his, my tongue tasting the alcoholic aroma from the Christmas Eve's toast. Sweet. With a hint of bitterness. It was undeniably irresistible. Alluring. Seductive.

No… what was this? I didn’t really want this, did I?

My mind wanted something different, but my body acted impulsively like an army with no leader. I slowly lowered my head towards his, pressing hard against him, listening to him make weird noises I’d never dream to hear of. Lustful kitten-like noises. Simply so attractive in his deep voice.

I’ve given up my war against everything, and kinda grew … to like his foreign tongue. My hand reached up and traced his angular jawline, before running through his flawless raven strands. My mouth pressed firmly to his as I began to softly moan, pleasure overflowing every sound that escaped from me. It was already too clear that he was smiling in the kiss as he realized I had finally surrendered to it.

He roughly pulled my body against his, and rolled over. I felt the hard wood come in contact with my back, harshly digging into my shoulder blades as the corporal clambered on top of me.

This unstable, weird feeling inside of me ruptured when a new sensation was introduced, his hands slowly reaching up my sides under my shirt as his every pant emitted onto my neckline. Each inch his fingertips leisurely progressed across sent a tingly sensation rippling through my body. My heart rate picked up, my breathing thick and heavy. I wanted more.

He murmured breathlessly. My grip tightened onto his loose shirt, supressing the groans of desires left dangling on the brink of my tongue. His voice, which purred ever so huskily, was an upbringing to this desirous sensation that left my body rippling in a pool of nothingness.

My mind was in shock as it was in process of overwriting all the negativity remaining. This feeling was too foreign to me; I had no legit words to describe it.

“Woah-” A voice, sounding quite stunned, voiced from the doorway. My eyes immediately flung open, and the very first thoughts that streamed were merely screams, and more screams, directed at myself that I should have approached everything in a more logical perspective instead of letting my impulses take over. I stared at their tall figure, my face overwritten with pure shame, wishing that their existence was just an illusion from overstrain.

Those blue eyes stared back, as real as the historical scars seared on my skin. Those lips of his that were compressed into a straight line quivered every now and then, as if he was trying to hold in a little laugh tickling his throat. Even so, my eyes narrowed into my usual glare I'd always give off in such a hostile manner. Erwin rolled his eyes, already too used to my unpleasant attitude, but his voice had a hint of gladness that my dejected state wasn’t so obvious anymore.

"Nice to see people getting into the holiday spirit." He muttered in a flat voice, having trouble trying to keep everything monotonous as a smile slowly reined his face.

Levi slowly broke away from me; annoyance tinted his slanted dark eyes as he rotated his head back, glaring at the tall figure of the commander. I listened to his low panting, escorting the sight of his firm heaving chest.

“Now if you'll excuse me...” The door creaked shut again, leaving us both gasping for air and a puzzled feeling, at least for me. "Use the lock. It's there for a reason." Was the last thing we heard before he disappeared, probably gone to get more wine. That was by far the wisest suggestion I’ve heard of in a very long time.

I just prayed with the very depths of my soul that he would keep his mouth shut. If Hanji or Mike found out, I’d need to find a cliff to jump off.

I felt Levi's gaze lower down at me again, his voice projecting his smile.

"Not bad, Adler. Not bad at all."

The flames danced heartily, emanating light that leaped from the walls of the room. Weight was added to my upper chest as Levi rested his head on me, catching his breath. I ran my hand through his raven hair one last time before brushing him off, sitting up in a crossed leg position. My back lazily slouched onto his constantly expanding and contracting one.

“Thanks couch.”

“Brat,” His soft murmur finally broke the long interval consisting of silence, shifting a little as he felt on the wooden floor for my cool hand. Levi’s warmth always ate into my skin, sinking deeper in the equivalent speed of pain and poison. I guess that was one thing I was always drawn to, like helpless moths blindly attracted to light.

“Sometimes you need to drop that cynic attitude of yours, and just fucking accept the fact that there is someplace you can call a momentary home, and that there are momentary people by your side. For now.”

“Was that the longest line I’ve heard from you that wasn’t another big slab of insult?” He could hear the joking smirk in my voice. “All hail the hideous preaching short stack.”

Even though I wasn’t facing him, I still cocked my eyebrow routinely. As much as I wanted to keep a straight face and snort at his lameness, the muscles keeping my poker face up had surrendered, resulting to the little faint curl of my lips. How could I not smile to something like that? It was so... not Levi, I can't just not laugh at it. It was OOC at its finest. Credit to God for creating such miraculous creatures.

“You better shut that stupid mouth of yours before I-”

Every word he muttered produced this vibration as I leant back onto his spine. I finally spun around, throwing my arms over his shoulders like he was giving me a piggy-back or something, enjoying the usual heat that radiated off. His dark slanted eyes caught mine as I tilted my head to the side, eyeing the bony apples of his colourless cheeks. My arms dangled over his chest like ropes, my fingers interweaved at the end like lace.

“Or you’ll what?” I challenged, my immature grin resembling a wide U shape. The corporal observed my face with his dark hollow orbs, and sometimes I really wished I had the ability to read minds or something because it was never possible to even grasp on a hint of what was going on in that whirling mind of his.

“I thought Erwin was bullshitting me. You sure act more like a 6 year old than one of those overly rich bastards.”

His hands rose and held onto my bony arms like I was straps of a backpack. Levi leant back on me for support, and I naturally nestled in, resting my chin on his shoulder.

“Simple. I’ll drag you off to my room. And I’ll make sure I use the lock this time.”

[A/N]

Holy shit. When was my last A/N?

Alright, this book is coming near to an end. I had an idea for another project, but I’m still not sure how it’ll all work out. But yeah, thank you all for sticking up to this point of the story. I give you both thumbs up as a happy appreciative author. Also a big thanking for those individuals who voted for this story for SNKWATTYS, even though it never really made it on the list lol, but I’m also a huge fan of those winning books so I’m pleased either way. Your votes and comments here count much more than my stupid book title on that winning poll.

Another batch of exams are thrown my way. And I’ve reached an age where I have to consider future careers, even though I keep thinking it’s still awfully too early.

As always, another big thank you, just for reading this ya know?
