After that walk, Yoongi and Namjoon finally reached their homes, which are just beside each other.
“Thank God it's Friday.”Yoongi mumbled.
“Yeah.”Namjoon said,“But we still have practice on Saturday, so it's still shit.”
“It's just for two hours, right? So.. I'll probably ditch practice.”Yoongi shrugged.
“Again? Hyung, Coach will kick you out if you kept on ditching practice.”Namjoon exclaimed.
“Then so what? It's not like I cannot play basketball anymore in my life if that bald dude will erase my name on the team.”Yoongi said.
“...but you're the best point guard the team has.”
“If I am, then Coach can't, and he wouldn't erase my name on the list.”Yoongi smiled kindly, and patted Namjoon on the head thrice.
“So, Seokjin-hyung and you can have your own alone time tomorrow.”Yoongi laughed,
“G'night, Namjoon.”Yoongi waved, and entered his house.
Namjoon just sighed, and entered his house.
As he was about to open the door, Namjoon's phone rang.
He picked it up,
“Hello?”
“Oh,yeah I'm sorry, I forgot to tell him. Yeah.. Alright.. I'll just tell him later. Bye.”Namjoon answered the call and hung up.
Meanwhile, as Yoongi entered his house, he removed his shoes near the doorstep.
“I'm home~”
Yoongi announced.
He was about to proceed to his room upstairs, when he heard someone sing.
“I'm home, I'm home,
After this tiring day I'm finally home,
Proceed to my room, which is my dome,
Well yeah, duh, because I'm home~”
Yoongi rolled his eyes, and sighed.
“Again with that stupid song, Hyegi?”
Hyegi, Yoongi's fifteen year old cousin, groaned.
“Come on. You made this when you accidentally got drunk. You usually rap your part after this... Just this time, Yoongs?”Hyegi demanded.
She made a cute face, which can convince Yoongi anything.
But this time, Hyegi's aegyo didn't work.
“...no. No way. Tell Auntie Min that I'll skip dinner.”
Yoongi told his cousin, and he went up the stairs.
“Why?”Hyegi asked in the distance.
“I'm on a diet.”Yoongi just replied, which is not really the reason he will skip dinner. He's just not hungry.
Yoongi rushed to his room, but he heard his cousin shout,
“Mom! Yoongs will not eat dinner! Whip his skinny ass!”
“Oh dammit. That girl..”Yoongi mumbled, and hurried to his bathroom to clean himself up.
After he did, his aunt called his name.
“Yoongi! Why won't you eat your dinner?”
And he heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
His aunt opened his room's door.
His aunt, but Yoongi prefer to call her Auntie Min, looked at Yoongi and sighed.
“Yoongi, I know that this is the day that... Chaeryung...died...”Auntie Min paused,
“But it's been five years already, Yoongi. We have to move on. You shouldn't lock yourself in your room and skip breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a day.”
“Yeah, mom's right, Yoongs.”Hyegi appeared beside the door, while she's leaning on the wall of Yoongi's room.
Yoongi just ignored his cousin.
Even with the pep talk from his aunt for five years, Yoongi cannot just accept that his mother died before she witnessed Yoongi to achieve that award that his mother had always wanted.
Yoongi felt like his mother is watching him every time, cursing him because he stopped playing the piano or something.
Yoongi just bit his lip.
Auntie Min sighed, and patted Yoongi on the back.
“I'll just bring your dinner here in your room. You have to eat, whether you like it or not.”
And then she left along with Hyegi.
Yoongi sighed, and as if on cue, his phone rang.
Yoongi picked it up.
“Hello?”
“Oh, Yoongi-hyung!”
Namjoon's voice was heard through the phone.
“What is it?”Yoongi asked,“Why bother to call? You could just throw a rock on my window and- aw, nevermind, scratch that idea.... What is it?”
“Well... Seokjin-hyung and I will ditch practice tomorrow, because coach would not be present, and attendance isn't really a must so... Yeah.”Namjoon said.
“....and?”
“And, there's this guy...”
Yoongi raised an eyebrow,
“What kind of guy?”
“He's a 9th grader in our school.”
“.....and?”
“....He likes Seokjin-hyung.”
Namjoon said.
“...so? Are you jealous?”
“No I'm not. Why would I be?”Yoongi guessed that Namjoon probably rolled his eyes while saying that statement,
“He just asked me if I could introduce him to Seokjin-hyung.”
“Let me guess... You're gonna let the two of them meet each other tomorrow, and I would have to come so I could accompany you, so that you'll not be the third wheel.”Yoongi sighed,
“If that's the case, You know me, Namjoon. I would say no.”
“Aw, hyung. Just this time. Please?”Namjoon pleaded.
“...no.”
“They say that he can dance.”
“So what?”
“He is good looking.”
“I'm not gay. And I'm not Seokjin-hyung, so you should tell all of that to Seokjin-hyung...not me.”Yoongi said.
“He can sing.”
“And so what?”
There was a five second silence.
“I heard that he plays classical and modern music in an instrument like you do.”
Namjoon blurted out, hoping that Yoongi would probably agree in this reason.
Namjoon was crossing his fingers, and he really do hope that Yoongi would come with them tomorrow.
Yoongi was silent.
Namjoon thought that Yoongi might've ended the call, but Yoongi didn't.
So the both of them stayed on line, but Yoongi still isn't saying anything.
Finally, Yoongi sighed.
“What's his name?”
Yoongi asked.
Namjoon grinned, because he knew that Yoongi would finally agree if he says that this guy is a music lover like him,
“Park Jimin.”
***************
“So... You'll just go with them tomorrow, just because this... Park Jimin guy plays a musical instrument? ”
Hyegi asked her cousin who is laying his back on his bed, while staring at the ceiling.
“Yeah. Pretty much. I would like to see him play whatever instrument that he's really skilled at.”Yoongi said.
Hyegi grinned,
“I think Jin would not even like him, so... I ship this Park Jimin guy with you.”
Hyegi continued on eating Yoongi's dinner that her mother told her to bring to Yoongi.
It's okay with Yoongi, Hyegi is pretty much his scavenger in all of the food that he eats because Hyegi just have this secret storage inside her stomach that she never gets fat whatever food she eats.
“Ship? No way. I'm not a total gay like you are, Hyegi.”Yoongi said.
“I'm not a complete lesbo, I'm just confused.”Hyegi said, and then slurped on noodles.
Yoongi managed to fake a laugh,
“After your three ex-girlfriends, and you ditched eight guys because you don't like boys.... Yeah, you're just confused. You're not a complete lesbo. Sure. Uh-huh. And kid, you're still fifteen, for shit's sake, Min Hyegi.”
Hyegi sighed,
“I'm just confused. Shut up, Yoongs.”
“Yeah, whatever.”Yoongi laughed at his cousin, and Hyegi just rolled her eyes.
“I'm leaving. Bye. I hope the bed bugs bite your ass tonight.”Hyegi stood up, and headed to the door.
“Nah, it's okay, at least the bed bugs can eat my ass like groceries.”Yoongi snickered.
Hyegi raised an eyebrow at Yoongi.
There they go again, trying to roast each other.
“...oh wait. I forgot...”Hyegi's eyebrows met, looking confused,
“You don't even have an ass. Poor bedbugs. But I hope this Park Jimin dude has one. Goodnight~”
She said, flipped her hair, and then left Yoongi's room.
“Aish, that kid.”
Yoongi mumbled.
