Drac couldn't take it anymore. He went over to his daughter.
"Mavis?"
"Yes Dad?" he could hear her, as she came out of her room. "My little voodoo doll, I can't take it anymore!"
"What is it dad?"
"Its, it's...that thing!" he snapped, while acting like me. Mavis knew what he was on about, "You promised you get along!" "She isn't someone to get along. You have no idea what she has done!"
His daughter crossed her arms now, "What did she do?"
"First...she didn't dance with me, like she was supposed to. Second, said your mother's name without permission...and third. She actually was trying to tell me that I kissed her!"
"Dad..." Mavis flew over her father, glaring at him, "you two refused to dance. I watched you two the whole night and that with Mam's name and the kiss...you said her name and you kissed N/A."
"I did what?!"
"I saw it Dad. You called her that and then you kissed her."
Drac stayed stubborn, "Why didn't she stop me?!"
"You stopped her. You hugged her tight so she couldn't prevent it."
Still...he stayed stubborn, "I would never do such a thing!"
If there was one thing he shouldn't do, is to anger his daughter. She was now really angry with her father. She grabbed his cape and pulled her towards her face. Drac was terrified. "Listen up Dad; if you don't go to N/A and apologies, you will be very sorry!!!"
Yep, no one can scare the famous Dracula...except his daughter.
He nodded violently, leaving the room fast. Drac used his powers to find me. Through the hotel, he found his friends asking them about me. "You were angry with her before, why the sudden change?" asked Griffin. The others agreed, waiting for the vampire to explain. He only had to say his daughters name, this got the message through. "We didn't see her Drac" announced Frank. With his head hanging low left the count. No matter where he looked, he couldn't find me. Scared of Mavis wrath, he thought hiding in his coffin might be the best...for now.
Once he stood at his coffin, he sighted deeply. "What should I do?" he mumbled, opening the coffin.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drac fell backwards on to his butt, as I peeked out of his coffin. "What are you doing in my coffin?!!!!"
I gave him a fake smile, "Hiding...from you?"
Drac collected himself, standing now at the box, "There is no need for you to hide anymore."
"What did I deserve this for?"
"Don't push your luck"
"So eh...I can go...right?"
Drac sighted, "no...not yet." I looked at the vampire, whose face changed from a glare to a worried expression, "I wanted to...apologize...for earlier."
"I am sorry too...about that with the Frankenstein lady."
Suddenly, silence came over us. It was an uncomfortable silence. We couldn't look at each other. "Drac?" the sound of his name, he looked at me. It surprised him as he watched me playing with my hands, "I...I...I don't want to fight anymore. Can we start all over again?"
Now it was my turn to be surprised. Drac gave me an actual smile...a real smile, "of course we can..." he reached out his hand, "Hello I am Count Dracula. And you are?" I returned the favor, shaking his hand, "I am N/A. It is nice to meet you Dracula."
It was a good start for us.
But still, the past was something we cannot change.
Will I be able to let the past go?
