C. 11

POV: Nat

When the sliver arrows flew through the air, I instantly thought, "More monsters," I sighed. I knew I trained for war, but we had been fighting for too long, and we couldn't hold forever. Then the arrows hit the cyclops. The campers let out a cheer as a bunch of girls with sliver clothing and bows came out of the bushes. Some people knelt, a girl no older than twelve yelled, "No time for kneeling, we need to fight." then she turned to address the others. "Hunters charge." and they did. We all fought, and we all the campers and avengers turned and fought. We fought with hope now, and we drove all the monsters back. There were no more than twenty monsters left within an hour, and a few put up a fight, most just turned and ran. When we were done, everyone piled up in the vans, one van caring the bodies of the fallen. We arrived at camp reasonably quickly. Most people ran around looking for friends, making shrines for others, or visiting the tents previously set up for the wounded because no one was left unscathed. I was helping move bodies and the hurt and assisting in any way possible. Everyone had lost someone, there were many tears shed. I was trying to comfort everyone, but that wasn't really my area of expertise. Once things had settled, I walked around looking for the avengers and others I knew. ------ This break line is brought to by: that dam joke that will never die------ POV: Leo, I was walking around looking for the other seven when Thalia grabbed my wrist and started pulling me. I pulled back and said, "Woh," she just pulled back. She was a lot stronger and nearly made me face plant, "Aren't you 'spose to be a maiden or something?" I remarked she gave me a glare that shut me up real fast she dragged me into the medical tent. Then I saw Annabeth, and I sat down real hard on the empty bed next to her. The other seven were there, but it felt like they were a million miles away. I heard Will say there was nothing they could do; she had an arrow pierce the side of the heart, and she was slowly bleeding out. Someone else said she only had a few minutes to live. Percy was holding her hand real tight, and I sure praying to every god he knew. Then Annabeth weekly said, "When I'm gone, please, please move on," someone said, "No, never" "Please, Percy, please." her voice no more than a whisper. Then she flatlined. Someone was screaming I was sure if it was me, then I blacked out.
