Hello everyone! And yes, as usual, I came unexpectedly, unexpectedly, brought a new chapter!

Yes, for the word "unexpectedly" in our Russian language there are at least two words that are used in the saying literally one after the other, and I noticed this only when I began to translate the text, lol๐Ÿคฃ

Hahahahaha, okay, don't pay attention to me, I just really like the funny sayings of my native language.

How are you? Do you miss my fanfiction?

Oh, yes, by the way. I started watching the Netflix series "You" with my friends during my internship at the university. I won't say that my genre is, but surprisingly it is really interesting.

The last phrases are just from there, despite the fact that I like the Russian version much more, because it sounds much nicer. Such a gentle "ะฏ ั‚ะตะฑั ะบัƒััŽ", and "ะบัƒััŽ" here, roughly, as an affectionate version of the word "bite". Translated into my language, she literally said "I bite you," but it was very sweet, and I was very inspired by this phrase๐Ÿ˜ญโค๏ธ

Anyway, have a nice read! I am waiting for your comments!๐Ÿฅฐ

Mia carefully descends the stairs of the treehouse, soon turning her head back. River, who is waiting for her, gallantly offers her his hand, and she accepts the help, descending the last steps.

- Hi, - his joyful smile speaks of his good mood, and he seems to have become even more charming, - How are you?

Mia fights the urge to pinch his cheek, and instead smiles back tenderly.

- It was good until you came, - he raises an eyebrow uncomprehendingly, and the corners of his lips slightly droop, and the girl continues at this moment, - And now it has become wonderful.

She winks, and the guy tries to figure it out for a couple of seconds.

- So, you got me! - He laughs, and Mia picks up his laugh, - I adore you.

She smiles shyly, lowering her eyes, and only now notices that they are still holding hands. River looks after her, confused and wants to let her go, but the girl raises her head and looks into his eyes, deliberately interlacing their fingers.

- I don't mind, - she whispers, smiling, - so where are we going?

He looks into her eyes for a few seconds and sways slightly forward, but stops himself and looks away.

- It's a secret, - he grins, - if I tell you, you won't be surprised.

The girl raises her eyebrows, smiling.

- Is this a date?

He chuckled, but a blush crept over his cheeks.

- Maybe.

They walk in comfortable silence for a couple of minutes. After passing a small grove, they come out into a beautiful clearing, and initially Mia looks at the sky, on which fascinatingly large clouds float. She smiles, and then looks down and groans. A large blanket is spread out on the grass, there is a basket on it, which contains food and drinks, as well as a couple of plates.

The girl looks at River, whose eyes are cunningly shining, and while she stands, fascinated by what she sees, he takes a small box out of the pocket of his shorts. He has to let go of her hand to open it, and the redhead smiles admiringly at the contents. A beautiful horseshoe pendant shimmers brightly in the rays of the sun, and she looks at the guy with a smile.

River smiles back.

- I really thought about what to give you for a long time, - he chuckles slightly, taking the jewelry out of the box, and carefully puts it on his friend's neck when she turns her back, - Then I remembered that you like all sorts of pendants.

He fastens the chain, taking his hands away, and Mia turns around, smiling at him. The guy is embarrassed, a blush floods his cheeks. The girl lifts the pendant with her fingers, considering how beautifully it sparkles in the sun. The brown-haired man looks at her slightly awkwardly, shrugging his shoulders.

- Actually, here it is.

The girl giggles, a charming blush spreads over her face in the same way. She lets go of the pendant and comes closer, much closer than they usually could afford.

- Thank you, - she smiles, looking into his fascinated eyes, and confusedly joins her hands in front of her, - You definitely guessed right.

River smiles tenderly at her.

- I'm glad you liked it... - He looks at her a little awkwardly, but there's still a smile on his lips, - Do you want to dance?

The redhead raises her eyebrows slightly in surprise, without ceasing to smile.

- Really?

The mulatto grins.

- Well... I thought, why not? - He looks at her, and Mia wants him to always look at her like THAT, - especially since we didn't have much time for our private dance at the school ball.

The girl closes her eyes, taking another step closer, practically nuzzling his chest, and grins at him.

- It sounds tempting... - she looks at him, and the guy gives her his phone without hesitation, - What do you have?

River laughs, walking away and turning on the speaker lying on the blanket, and turns to her.

- Well, actually, a lot of things, - he spreads his hands, smiling at her, - Choose what you like.

The redhead shakes her head with a smile, distracted by the gadget, and flips through a list of playlists. When she comes across the inscription "My love", she bites her lip, curiously opening it and turning on the first song. A gentle melody flows, and the girl looks at the guy with a laugh, waiting for him. River grins as he walks up to her and gallantly offers his hand.

Mia looks at him playfully, accepting the invitation, and the brown-haired man smiles, moving closer. She looks into his eyes, with a quiet grin, thrusting the phone into the pocket of his shorts, and then putting her hand on his shoulder. They take a couple of steps away from the plaid so as not to stumble, and the guy's palm rests on her waist.

They begin to swing slowly to the tune, adjusting to the rhythm, and Mia hums cheerfully, smiling to herself. The brown-haired man looks at his friend, illuminated by the sunset rays, and almost forgets all the words. The girl moves closer and puts her head on his chest. River dies for a second from such tenderness and intimacy with her, and his heart threatens to jump out of his chest.

- So... - the redhead grins and hesitates, listening to the frantic pounding of his heart, - is this still a date?

The guy smiles at the top of her head, continuing to lead her in the dance.

- Well, - he smiles at her, even if she doesn't see it, - I prefer to think that way.

The girl bites her lip so as not to rejoice too loudly, and her hand on his shoulder gently strokes him.

- Well, then I'll think so too.

They both giggle awkwardly, and the redhead lets go of his hand, placing her palm on his chest. At first, River is surprised and does not know where to put her hand, and then puts it on her waist. The girl laughs softly, listening to how loudly his heart is pounding, despite the fact that her head is lying on the other half of his chest.

- Are you worried?

She grins softly, stroking his chest with her palm, where his heart is pounding furiously.

- I can't help but worry in your presence, - he answers honestly, squeezing her waist a little harder, and Mia giggles softly, feeling the redness spread across her face again, - You make me...

She breaks down, raises her head and laughs.

- Am I that scary? - She scoffs, continuing to giggle, despite the fact that she immediately understands what he's talking about, - I didn't expect this from you...

At this moment, the composition changes to a more energetic one and the brown-haired man jokingly rolls his eyes, taking her hand, which was lying on his shoulder, and briskly pulls her towards himself. They're pressed against each other, his lips next to her ear.

- You know what I mean...

The redhead blushes charmingly, an exciting shudder runs through her body. The brown-haired man takes a couple of steps back, and the girl instinctively follows him. She squeals and laughs as River tilts her down, his eyes right in front of hers.

- What are you doing?

He grins at her.

- I'm dancing the tango, chica.

Mia giggles, not knowing what he said, but instinctively realizes that it's some kind of compliment when he straightens up and they take a slightly more active step.

- I don't speak Spanish, you, big boy.

He grins, pulling her with him, and they spin around. They both laugh, and the girl closes her eyes, continuing to giggle merrily. River leans forward, and this time she anticipates this movement by throwing her leg up. She opens her eyes and slyly squints at the guy. Her gaze changes to a slightly more predatory one as she bends her leg, placing it on his lower back.

River grins, feeling a surge of excitement. This woman was driving him crazy.

- That's brazen of you, querida.

She bites her lip, feeling her heart pounding.

- I have to match, - the girl looks at him playfully, - it's because... A dance for two people...

They look into each other's eyes with a sinking heart. Mia smiles, lowering her leg back down, and the brown-haired man pulls her towards him. They look at each other for a couple of seconds and lose their rhythm when the guy continues to lead her again. The redhead giggles slightly strangled, feeling that she is gradually getting tired.

She stumbles over his sneakers, and they laughingly try to stay on their feet, practically sliding on the grass. Mia laughs openly, squeezing his arm and shoulder in an attempt not to fall, and eventually they regain their balance, stopping. The song ends, and they try to catch their breath, continuing to laugh.

- Are you tired? - River asks, exhaling, - We can sit down if you want.

She drops her head on his chest with a happy laugh, breathing heavily.

- Yes, come on... - she feels like she's sweating, and she damn well wants to sit down, - If you don't have water, I'll drink your blood.

The brown-haired man snorts, making a funny face and pulls a long "Eeeeeeew, are you a vampire?!" and the girl giggles and weakly slaps him on the shoulder. They laugh, finally uncoupling their sweaty limbs, and the redhead sits down on the blanket with a heavy breath, arms outstretched.

- It was fun... - She closes her eyes, looking at him, and smiles, - how do you know how to tango?

River snorts and pretends to be offended by the question, which makes her giggle.

- I'm Latin, Mia, it's in my blood.

He moves his eyebrows and grins, and the girl laughs, shaking her head.

The guy grins, sinking down on the blanket after her and taking a bottle of water out of the basket. Mia holds out her hand demanding, and he gives her the water, laughing. She sits down and takes a couple of sips, while he puts his elbow on his knee, propping his cheek with his hand, and watches her with pleasure. The redhead notices this after a couple of seconds, looking up from the bottle.

- What?

He shakes his head, smiling.

- Nothing... You're just very beautiful...

Mia looks at him skeptically and cheerfully, but a blush is spreading across her cheeks, and River feels great pleasure that she likes it.

- Even all sweaty?

She takes another sip, and River agrees with a grin.

- Even all sweaty.

The girl jokingly rolls her eyes, taking another sip, starts laughing and water seeps between the neck of the bottle and her lips. Mia douses the T-shirt, immediately putting the bottle away and starting to laugh even harder, closing her eyes. The guy picks up her laugh, and they both laugh like horses for the next five minutes.

Soon, the redhead still has enough strength to stop laughing, and she closes the bottle with a lid, handing it to the guy. He takes the thing away, putting it aside, and looks at his friend. They look at each other and a smile blooms on both their faces. Mia falls back onto the blanket again, throwing her arms out to the sides.

The brown-haired man follows her, lying down at a short distance so that they both feel comfortable, and for a couple of minutes they silently look at the sky, looking at the running clouds. The redhead looks peaceful when she asks a question.

- Have you ever wanted... something more... - She bites her lip, trying to make up her mind, and finally squeezes out softly, - with me?

She turns her head, looking at him, and the brown-haired man turns exactly a second later, looking back.

- Yeah.

He nods lightly, smiling at her. They look into each other's eyes. Their hands are next to each other, and Mia clasps their little fingers with a gentle, embarrassed smile. River smiles back, closing her eyes, and they fall silent again for a while, holding each other like that.

Soon, an insidious idea comes to the girl's mind, and she quickly turns and rises, pouncing on a friend with a tickle. The guy screams in surprise, starting to laugh and trying to fend off the furious attack. The redhead laughs ominously, continuing to tickle the guy, and he wriggles like a snake in vain attempts to get away from her playful fingers.

Soon Mia stops, noticing that River is out of breath, and leans contentedly on his chest, looking into his eyes. The guy takes a deep breath, looking numb from tickling, and tries to catch his breath.

- And... and what... - He exhales, looking at her, - what was that?

The girl grins, looking at him.

- Tickling.

The brown-haired man rolls his eyes, but smiles and shakes his head.

- It makes sense, - he snorts, exhaling, and looks at her with a smile, - will there be a more detailed answer?

She shakes her head with a laugh.

- Nope.

Mia looks at him contentedly, and the guy exhales, realizing that he will not get a normal answer, and falls silent, looking at the freckles on her face. The redhead smiles back at him.

- Do you want to kiss?

She asks a question, startling the guy, and he tries for a few more moments to realize what she asked him. The girl waits patiently for him to figure it out, and smiles when she notices the blush on his cheeks. It finally got there.

The guy hesitates for a couple more seconds, and then looks at her.

- I want to. And you?

She raises an eyebrow, grinning.

- Do you think I would have asked if I didn't want to?

He giggles, closing his eyes.

- It's true. Stupid question.

He looks at her again, and Mia removes her hands from his chest, resting them on the plaid on either side of his head. She leans closer. His hands automatically rest on her waist, and the girl's eyes close when she whispers.

- I really want to.

She bends down, touching her nose to him, and shortens the remaining distance by connecting their lips.

They both exhale raggedly through their noses, and Mia bites his lower lip slightly, leaving a faint taste of pain when she lets go. Their mouths gently connect over and over again, and the redhead exhales softly through her nose.

She pulls away after a while, and River reaches for her for a moment, carried away by feelings for the girl he has been in love with for a long time. Mia smiles into his eyes.

- You know, you did a great job, - she closes her eyes and her voice drops, - this date is amazing... But you're the best part of it.

The brown-haired man feels that he is blushing, but he cannot help but answer. His hand rises, stroking Mia's cheek, and lingers on her skin.

- You're the best part of everything I've ever dealt with.

The redhead blushes too, completely matching her hair, and bends down to kiss him again. When they pull away from each other, she stays close, their noses touching. River turns carefully, lowering Mia next to her, and they touch foreheads, closing their eyes. The girl giggles when their fingers intertwine, and opens her eyes, colliding with the brown pools opposite.

- I wolf you.

River smiles, shifting slightly, and kisses her briefly but sweetly on the lips.

- I wolf you too.
