The lights outside the shado cast by the villain hurt Nova's eyes, even though she had only been in the mist less than five seconds.

She was tackled to the ground, along with someone else. Nova's eyes were wide as she locked around and saw Uraraka next to her, rolling a few feet away. Over her was the person who tackled her... Who saved her...

Tenya Iida. The only one fast enough to run out of the mist in time, he must've grabbed anyone he could on his way out. Her and Uraraka... And Sato, who he had pulled out with one arm.

Nova laid on the ground in shock. Iida had... Saved her. Surely it must've been an accident, he just pushed out everyone in his way right? Not paying attention to who they were... Right?

"What is that thing?" Sato asked. A shadowy dome covered the area their classmates are in. The arena THEY were just in seconds ago.

Iida stood up as soon as possible, helping up Uraraka. Ignoring Nova for now. She pulled herself up as well, without his help. She didn't worry much over it, staring into the swirling black smoke until...

It pulled back. Everyone was gone, except Thirteen and Shoji, who had grabbed a few other classmates and hunkered down on the ground. Seemingly escaping the date their classmates met.

The smoke shrunk down, but didn't disappear. The form was smaller, more human. No that Nova was looking... She realized something very important on him, proving he did infact have an actual body...

A small amount of armor.

Metal armor.

"Where are the others?!" Iida asked, looking at Shoji who used his quirk to create ears and eyes.

"Scattered across the facility. There are villains too, as far as I can tell our classmates are still in the USJ." Shoji told them.

Nova and the other let out a small breath. At least they weren't taken somewhere horrible. Like a villain Lair or something. Nova looked around, the only ones still anywhere close to the exit were her, Shoji, Iida, Uraraka, Mina, Thirteen and Sero. The last three were the ones Shoji protected. Nova stood beside him as he kept searching for everyone with his quirk.

The cloud of mist didn't move or react much to them right now. Almost like he was recouping after that big attack. He didn't have those visible eyes anymore. His metal armor was hidden, but Nova could still sense it.

"What do we do now? He's blocking the exit and our attacks don't seem to work. Not to mention the fact that he can apparently teleport stuff." Sero said, the others got into fighting stances. Ready to attack or defend if the villain moved again.

"Class Rep." Thirteen said after a few seconds or consideration. "I have a job for you."

"Yes?" Iida asked, standing straighter.

"Run to the school and tell the faculty what's going on here." She ordered. Iida's eyes widened.

"What-"

"The alarms aren't sounding. And our communication devices aren't working either. One of these villains must be to blame. They could be anywhere, likely his as soon as they entered the USJ they hid. It'll be quicker just to run and get help than to search for them." Thirteen advised.

Nova bit her lip. The warpgate moved slightly, suddenly he had eyes again. He was getting ready for another fight.

Nice inches away from the group, no one noticed her move while they listened to Thirteen.

"Yes but- It would be disgraceful for me to leave you all behind!" Iida argued.

So much like his father. That twisted heroic thought process. He meant the best but he was being utterly foolish.

"Go emergency exit!" Sato said, interrupting his objection to the plan. "There are lots of alarms outside. That's why they're keeping us trapped."

"If you get outside they won't be able to follow." Sero agreed, stepping closer to Sato in a fighting stance, ready to defend them.

The mist was now very clearly staring at them. Most likely listening as well, but nice seemed to escape his notice. She got into what she thought would be the perfect position. Her heart pounding in her chest.

"Use your quirk to save others. Be a real hero." Thirteen told him. Tenya stood there, frozen in shock.

Then he he moved into a runners stance and Nova heard his engine start to hum.

She waited, she had to wait for the perfect moment, one where he's have the most amount of time possible to get out.

"Even if this is your only option..." The mist built up again, ready to attack. "ARE YOU REALLY FOOLISH ENOUGH TO STRATEGIZE INFRONT OF YOUR ENEMY?!-"

The warpgate suddenly moved extremely fast. But it wasn't towards THEM. He was pulled to the side towards Nova, like a magnet was pulling him in by his armor plates.

"RUN TENYA IIDA!!" Nova yelled, suddenly the way to the door was completely and perfectly clear.

Iida turned with wide eyes watching as the misty warpgate crossed and flew straight to Nova's extended palm. The moment they touched the metal compacted, Nova turned and body slammed him. The warpgate hit the ground hard enough to shatter the concrete underneath him. The metal around his body constricted him as Nova manipulated it to restrain him as best she could.

Iida stood there in shock for half a second, then it almost felt like his legs moved on their own...

He ran.

He ran just like she ordered him too.

Nova Kurayami yelled and told him to do something, and he was doing it. He felt like he had no choice but to comply. Her attack was giving him room to run and get help.

Thirteen positioned herself between the warpgate and Iida. Just in case he got up she'd be another line of defense.

"I don't get it... There's no way you didn't know I was here... I've been all over the media..." Nova said with a small pant, the warpgate made a sound like he was choking when she tightened the metals grip on him. "So why the hell would you be stupid enough to wear metal?" She asked quietly. Her pale grey eyes staring into his soul.

The warpgate stared back at her, completely immobilized.

"...Kurayami's truly are... Terrifying creatures."
