The next day I hear a knock at my door. At first I think it's Kyoko or maybe Hina, but it's Hiro. What's he doing here?! "Makoto dude!" Hiro says, yanking me out of my room. "What the heck?!" I ask. "What's up my dude?! I haven't seen you in forever! You should take a trip to the bathhouse! Make sure to wash behind your ears! Hahaha!" Hiro says. He holds up a paper with something written on it.

Kyoko needs to see you.

"Let's go brah!" Hiro says. I head to the bathhouse. Seems like I've been going here a lot lately. "Relax dude, all that was just for the cameras." Hiro says once we head inside. Everyone, including Toko and Byakuya, are waiting inside. None of them look very happy. Then I see why. The locker that held Alter ego is open and empty.

"The laptop is missing." Kyoko says. "We all know you took it Ishimaru!" Hifumi accuses. "That's a bunch a crap! It was probably you!" Taka says. "Both of you shut up!" Ishani orders. "We can rule those two out. I programmed Alter ego to shriek if either of them came near. It seems I've overlooked another suspect." Kyoko says. "Overlooked indeed. But how do we narrow down our suspects?" Byakuya asks. "None of us had a reason to take it." Hina says. "Maybe, maybe not. Consider this, we could have a traitor in our ranks." Byakuya says.

"No way!" Hina says. "It's becoming more and more believable as time goes on. Of course Monokuma would plant a mole to make sure everyone is behaving the way they should." Byakuya says. No one says anything. "Oh come on. Do you guys still believe that people actually care about each other in here? Ridiculous." Byakuya says. The sound of a clock chiming rings on the overhead speaker. It must be nighttime. We head back to our rooms, a tense silence among us. Who took Alter ego? Is there really a spy?

When I go to the dining hall the next morning, only Kyoko, Hina, and Sakura are there. "Is this everyone? Small group today." I say. "Yeah! Where are Hiro and Celeste? The whole time they've been here, they haven't missed a single one! Neither have the crazies!" Hina says. "Have you guys seem Isha?" Leon asks, walking in. "No. I have an increasingly bad feeling that something is wrong." Sakura says. "We must look for them." Kyoko says, standing up. "So how do we do this?" Hina asks. "Sakura and Leon will check the dorms. Makoto, you've got the rest of the first floor. I'll check the second floor." Kyoko says. "Which means I've got the third floor!" Hina says.

We leave the dining hall and split ways. I look through the windows of the doors for the nurse's office. Nothing. "Somebody help!" Someone screams. It sounds like Hina. I quickly rush up the floors. Hina is standing in front of the rec room. Leon and Sakura come a few seconds later. Celeste is laying on the floor.

"What the hell?!" Leon asks. Celeste wakes up and stands. "I was careless." she says. "What cretin did this to you?" Sakura asks. "It was rather odd. Whoever did it took great lengths to hide their face. They struck me with that." Celeste says, pointing to a painted hammer on the ground. "Justice hammer number one?" I ask, reading the words painted on the side. "Hifumi is in great danger! Whoever did this to me kidnapped him! I saw them take a left before I blacked out." Celeste says. "Take a left? That would put them towards the stairwell to the second story." Sakura says.

"Did you see Isha anywhere?" Leon asks. "Ishani? No. I haven't seen her or anyone else. Is she missing?" Celeste asks. "What are we going to do?!" Leon asks, sounding a bit panicked. "We have to go! The second floor is where Kyoko's searching!" I say. We dash out of the entrance to the rec room and towards the second floor. I almost run into Byakuya on the way. "Byakuya! Have you seen Kyoko, Hifumi or Ishani?" I ask. "Since when is it our job to watch them?!" Jack asks, peeking out from a pillar not too far away. "Is it important?" Byakuya asks. "Yes!" I say. "Over here!" Sakura calls. Hifumi is in the library, blood dripping down his head.

"What happened?" I ask. "Are you okay?" Hina asks. "There's another one of those weird hammers." I say, noticing one on the ground next to Hifumi. "I can't believe it! Robo justice attacked me!" Hifumi says. "This is hardly the time for playing cute." Byakuya says. "He's not being cute. Trust me." Celeste says, holding something up. "Is that a camera?" Jack asks. "Yes. I found it in the rec room. Look." Celeste says. "Look at what?" Hina asks.

It's a picture of someone in a robot costume dragging a terrified Hifumi away. "Well...okay." Byakuya says. "Strange, I know." Celeste says. "We have to get this maniac before he gets the others!" Hina says. "If he hasn't already." Byakuya says. "Don't say that man!" Leon says. "You guys don't mind if I take a break in the nurse's office, do you?" Hifumi asks. "Fine. The rest of us will split into groups." Celeste says.

Soon I'm running around the first floor looking for pretty much anyone at this point. A scream rings out. Oh no! I run as fast as I can towards where I heard it. I find Celeste on the ground, and everyone around her. "What happened?" Hina asks. "Celeste! Are you okay?" I ask. "I am not injured. But I saw Robo justice head to the physics lab." Celeste says. "He's cornered. Sakura, Leon, Jack and myself will follow him. Hina, Celeste and Makoto will check on Hifumi. " Byakuya says. We rush down to the nurse's office and are greeted with an awful sight.

Hifumi is lying on the floor, blood pooled at his head.

I scream. There's another hammer by him. "Did he pass out?" Hina asks. "No, I think he is dead. There's another hammer. But how? I saw him on the third floor." Celeste says. Hina takes a few steps back. She doesn't look so well. "I'm sorry...I feel like I'm going to puke." Hina says. "Deep breaths dear. I'll take you to the bathroom. Makoto, find the others and tell them that Hifumi is dead." Celeste says. "Right." I say before running off.

They were going to the physics lab, right? I rush in there, but it's empty. "Guys?! Is anyone in here?!" I ask. No response. I'm about to leave when I notice one of the storage closet doors are open. It gives me the same vibes of when I opened the bathroom door and found Sayaka, but I still find myself going towards it. I open the door and let out a scream.

Ishani and Taka are laying face down on the ground. There's blood everywhere.

The others are standing towards the back. "Taka! Ishani! Toko too?!" I ask, seeing Toko on the ground nearby. "No. She is just passed out. But I'm afraid our culprit got away before we got here. They left another one of these silly hammers behind." Byakuya says. "So they're both dead?" I ask. "I'm afraid so." Byakuya says. No...they can't be.

"I...I need a nap." Leon says, turning to leave. "Ah...my head..." Someone says. Both Ishani and Taka move slightly. "They're still alive!" I say. "This is good. Maybe they'll have information." Byakuya says. "They won't have anything if they bleed to death. I can take Taka. Two of you will have to carry Ishani." Sakura says. "I'll take her." Leon says. "Me too." I say.

We carry Taka and Ishani slowly to the nurse's office. "Woah! What happened?!" Hina asks, walking up with Celeste. "They both were attacked. But they aren't dead, only unconscious." Sakura says. "I'll get the door...the heck?!" Hina asks, after opening the door to the nurses office. "What is it?" I ask. "Hifumi's body is gone!" Hina says. "What do you mean, his body?" Byakuya asks. "Right. We found Hifumi in the nurse's office before I came and found you guys." I say.

We lay Ishani and Taka on the examination tables. "Does anyone know any first aid?!" Hina asks. "I think the only one who knew about that sort of thing is Isha." Leon says. "I know a bit. We need to wrap up their wounds and quickly." Sakura says. We do as she says and wrap up their wounds. "Now that those two are taken care of, we must attend to other matters." Byakuya says. "When we came back from the bathroom the body was gone." Hina says. "It must be the killer's handiwork. If he is trying to confuse us, it's working." Sakura says.

"This is it. We're all going to die. Picked off one by one. Till there's no one left. Exactly like them." Celeste says. "Why would the killer make off with Hifumi's body? A murder and two attempted murders within minutes of each other? And the carting off of evidence that has already been discovered? What is the meaning of all of this?" Byakuya asks. "Celeste is right! We are all going to die!" Hina cries.

"Hina, get a hold of yourself." Sakura says. "Woah, what's wrong with us?! We left Toko back at the lab!" I say before taking off. "Makoto wait!" Byakuya says. Toko is still lying unconscious on the ground. "She is fine. I suggest we go back to the nurse's office. We can investigate for clues and wait for Taka and Ishani to wake up." Byakuya says.

We head back to the nurse's office. "Oh no." Sakura says, opening the door. "What is it?" I ask. "Look." Sakura says. I go into the room and something sticks out right away. "Th-they're gone!" I say. Ishani and Taka are no longer on the examination tables. "They're gone?" Byakuya asks. "The killer took them!" I say. "What the hell is happening?!" Leon asks. "It seems as the killer is messing with us." Sakura says. "Why bother to move them when we already found them?" Celeste asks. "To finish the job of course." Byakuya says.

"There's a blood thirsty maniac on the loose!" Hina says. "This doesn't make sense. The timings are all wrong. It's impossible for one individual to do two acts in such a short amount of time between." Byakuya says. "That's true." Hina says. "Two of our classmates are still unaccounted for." Byakuya says. "Hold up. Kyoko was with us right up until we split to find the others. She couldn't of attacked Celeste." I say. "I guess that gives her a decent alibi." Byakuya says. "I guess this points towards Hiro being the culprit." Celeste says. "But one thing doesn't add up. The school rules state that a person can kill up to two people. If they were successful on killing Ishani and Taka the kill count would be three." Byakuya says.

"Maybe they didn't know." Hina says. "Maybe." Byakuya says. "Well if it is, sucks to be them!" Jack says, suddenly appearing and waving her scissors around. "Not this again." I say. "Can we assume this isn't your handiwork?" Byakuya asks. "Nope! I don't kill girls! Besides, I stick to my style of killing. If there ain't no scissors, it wasn't me." Jack says.

"Let's split up and search for Hifumi's body and our fellow classmates." Byakuya says. Jack and I search the first floor while Byakuya watches us. "Byakuya. Makoto." Someone says. Celeste stands in the doorway. "Did you find them?" I ask. Celeste nods and begins to walk off. We follow her into the storage closet of the Arts room. All three of them are there. Ishani and Taka are slumped up against each other and Hifumi is lying not too far away. "Are they...?" I ask.

"No. It seems that the killer only moved them." Sakura says. "It's so awful. Who would do this? They were innocent." Hina says, kneeling by Hifumi. "Come on Isha...You've got to wake the hell up." Leon says. Ishani doesn't move. Neither does Taka. But Hifumi does.

"He's alive! Hang in there!" Hina says. "Who...are you? Wait...We're good friends...aren't we? Go back...forever..." Hifumi says. "His brain has been scrambled by the head trauma." Byakuya says. "The light...It's so beautiful...lights burning everywhere..." Hifumi says. "Tell us who did this to you! Tell us! We'll bring you justice! Just tell us buddy!" Hina says. "Trying...to remember...it was...Yasuhiro..." Hifumi says.

Then he stops moving.

"Bum bum bum! Corpse alert chikadees! If you don't take care of the other two right, we might have two more! Anyway, you know the drill! Collect that evidence for the class trial!" Monokuma says over the intercom. "That damn bear. Of course he has to suck all the fun out of this round." Byakuya says. "What a buzz kill." Jack says. "I think all of us would prefer for you two to keep your twisted comments to yourselves." Celeste says. "I'm in no mood to be delicate. I've wasted enough energy on this as it is." Byakuya says.

"Yasuhiro. What odd last words." Sakura says. "No. It's actually a good clue. Yasuhiro is Hiro's full first name." Celeste says. "So let's sum it up. Yasuhiro dresses up, attacks Celeste, then attacks Hifumi, then goes after those two, almost killing them, and then comes back and kills Hifumi. Then he decides to play hide and seek with them. Cased closed. Let's get him." Byakuya says. "What about the other one? Kyoko? We haven't seen her since the beginning of all this." Sakura says. "Don't go there!" I say. "I am sorry Makoto. We must consider the idea that she might be his accomplice." Sakura says.

"A rather fruitless investment. We all know that only the actual killer benefits. Unless she was the one who stuck Hifumi down." Celeste says. "Now that's a plot twist!" Jack says. "Though it may seem like the identify of the culprit is clear, I still think a full investigation is a good idea." Celeste says. "Sounds good. You guys look for clues and I'll go find the others." I say. "I'll bring these two back to Isha's room. There's no way I'm letting Isha out of my sight again." Leon says. "I shall go as well for back up." Sakura says.

I leave the physics lab and begin to search for Kyoko or Hiro. "Where could they be? It's not like this place is huge." I say aloud. "Makoto." Someone says. "Ah!" I say, startled. Kyoko is standing in the hallway. Where did she come from?! "Kyoko, where have you been?!" I ask. "Makoto. Bring everyone to the pool." Kyoko says. "Right." I say before running off.

"What about these two?" Sakura asks, when I get to Leon and her. "We can lock the door. You still have Ishani's key, right Leon?" I ask. "Yeah. I dunno. You really think they'll be fine?" Leon asks. "Yeah. No one get through the door if it's locked right?" I ask. "According to Monokuma, that is correct." Sakura says. "Fine. I'll go. I want some answers." Leon says.

The others are already there once we arrive at the pool. "Alright. What's this about?" Byakuya asks. Kyoko says nothing. "Out with it! Why did you bring us here? This is no time to be coy!" Byakuya says. Kyoko opens the door to the pool closet. Inside is...

"Robo Justice?!" I ask. "Ugh...what's happening?!" Robo Justice asks. Kyoko pulls off the helmet to reveal a confused looking Hiro. Leon steps forward and punches Hiro in the jaw. "Ah! Dude! What the hell?!" Hiro asks. "That's what you get for attacking my girlfriend, asshole!" Leon says. "I didn't attack no one man! What's going on?" Hiro asks, trying to move.

"The ominous last words were this one's full first name." Celeste says. "Why would he lock himself in the locker?" I ask. Hiro tries to step forward but falls onto the ground. "Uh, a little help?" Hiro asks. "Help yourself." Leon says. "A costume that doesn't bend at the waist? Word of advice, design something more flexible if you're going to commit homicide." Byakuya says. "Wait a minute, there's a clasp at the back." I say.

Sakura and I struggle to get the top half of the costume off of Hiro. "Ah! Careful!" Hiro says. "This cosplay is very tailored." Sakura says. "How did you get into this?!" I ask. "First rule of cosplay, make it so you can still go to the can!" Jack says. "You don't think I made this piece of crap, do you? I swear on my life it wasn't me! Some joker slipped a note under my door, telling me to meet in the rec room after hours. I show up like a moron, and bam! Lights out! When I woke up, I'd been crammed into this thing and stuffed in a closet." Hiro explains. "How interesting. If what you say is true, then show us the note." Byakuya says.

"Sure thing. I have it right...uh..." Hiro says, frantically searching his pockets. "If you want to prove your innocence show it to us!" Byakuya says. "Oh whatever! Stop playing around with us and admit that you're the culprit already!" Hina says. "Excuse me, what the hell are you talking about?" Hiro asks. "Don't play dumb with me, punk." Leon says.

"It's a good thing we found him still alive. Good work Kyoko. What were you on the outside, an amateur sleuth?" Celeste asks. I can barely hear her over the sounds of Leon and Hina yelling at Hiro in the background. Kyoko turns and leaves. I catch up to her. "Kyoko! Wait! I need to talk to you! Not to be rude, but where were you this whole time? You just vanished after splitting up." I say.

"I was doing a separate investigation." Kyoko says. "What's that supposed to mean?" I ask. "Look, you don't have to worry about it." Kyoko says. "But I-" I say. "It's nothing alright? Leave it. I need to see the body while it's still fresh. Looking at Ishani and Taka wouldn't hurt either." Kyoko says. "About that. Ishani and Taka are locked up in Ishani's room. So the killer doesn't try to take them again." I say. "I see. Hifumi will have to do then." Kyoko says.

I follow Kyoko into the Arts closet. Kyoko kneels and begins to inspect Hifumi. "The wound indicates a blunt force killed him. Evidence shows that most likely the same weapon used to strike Ishani and Taka killed Hifumi. That's all it's got." I say. There's a scrap of paper on the ground. Did Ishani, Taka or Hifumi drop it? Did the killer drop it?

"The murder happened only a little while after the attempted murders, correct?" Kyoko asks. "Yeah." I say. "Hm. Let's hope they wake up before the trials. They could know the identity of their attacker." Kyoko says. "Hey! There you guys are!" Hina says, appearing in the doorway. "What is it?" I ask. "They're waking up!" Hina says. "Seriously?!" I ask. Wow. That was fast. "Good. Let's go." Kyoko says.

A/N: And the next case is a go! I know Ishani was greatly involved in the first case, but I had to do something to alter the story so Taka could survive. No way is he dying in this story.
