Morning came and everyone was up and getting ready. Cameron and Paige had gone down and brought enough platters of breakfast upstairs for everyone. “Oh my god, what happened to your face?” Paige asked concerned. “I was just about to ask the same thing,” Shawn chimed in. Without looking at Paige, he glanced at Cameron then looked back at the other boys. “Just a small scuffle outside yesterday. Don’t worry about it.” He said it in such a way that suggested no more questions be asked. They consumed a full breakfast then made their way back over to the hospital. When they got there, they sat in the hall waiting for the doctor again. Cam was looking for a seat so Jack G got up and offered his, taking a stroll by himself down the corridor. He didn’t want to be near Cameron anyway. Not because he was afraid, but because he was seriously hurt by his last comments. He found a small snack shop, bought himself a coffee, and sat outside the place at a counter. To his dismay, Cameron had followed him and walked up to the counter Jack was sitting at. When he saw Cameron, he started to get up. Cameron grabbed hold of his shoulder and kept him seated. “Wait. Let’s talk,” Cameron sort of pleaded. Jack refused: “I have nothing to say to you. Didn’t you talk enough yesterday?” Cameron took a seat beside Jack. It took him a lot of courage and convincing, but he stirred up a meaningful apology. They spent the next half hour having small talk before Cameron got the text: “Where ever you guys are, come back. The doctor said he’ll be back in five with the results.” Cameron told Jack and together, peacefully, they head back to Nash’s area.

The doctor arrived with the same clipboard and folder that he had before. “Alright so it looks like we have the last three results in. I just picked them up now so give me a second to look through them.” All six of them, plus Nash’s parents who were standing beside them, waited anxiously. The doctor skimmed the notes, medical terms prancing through his mind. Suddenly, he stopped and looked up wide-eyed. “I don’t believe it. There’s another match.” Jack G wasn’t sure if his heart skipped a beat in relief for Nash or himself. Paige cried, “Who?” The doctor referred back to the name on the chart and stated. “A Mr. Cameron Dallas.”
