In the few days that followed, Jack G and Paige started to get very close. They weren’t technically together, but there were definitely sparks. All the boys began to notice but nobody decided to say anything. Luckily, nothing became awkward between anyone. All of them were still a close-knit family. With all the drama going on lately, Paige really relied on Jack G for comfort. While things were relatively calm, the boys decided to go out for the night and hang out somewhere together. Jack G and Paige stayed back for some alone time. They lay on Jack’s bed in his room and talked for a bit. When the conversation started to die, Paige turned on her side and looked at him, her hand resting on his chest. She leaned in and kissed him. He put a hand on the side of her face and kissed her back. The make-out session got pretty intense and then Paige rolled herself on top of Jack. She slipped her hands under his shirt and tugged it upwards to take it off his head. She tossed it to the side then went back to deeply kissing him as she rubbed his bare chest with her hands. Jack G was getting a little nervous, unsure of what the situation was escalating to. She stopped kissing him for a second and whispered in his ear: “Do you want to do this?” He swallowed hard and decided to be honest with her, saying, “I’ve never had sex before. I wouldn’t really know what I’m doing.” She smiled as she kissed him again. “Then just shut up and go with it.” Layers shed, and that night, they shared yet another new first.

The next morning, Paige woke up early and nudged her head into Jack G. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at her. She gave him a good morning kiss then looked around. Paige leaned back into him and teased, “If the guys weren’t all in here, I would totally go for round two.” Jack G blushed a little then laughed. “You’re such a flirt,” he mumbled.

Later in the evening, Nash was relaxing in bed with the company of Jack J and Shawn who were dropping some beats and entertaining Nash with funny raps. Cameron finally had some time to himself so he decided to take a few minutes and go downstairs to visit the girls who helped Nash. They were happy to see him on better terms than the first time. “Oh Cameron, hi!” the girl who opened the door exclaimed. “Hello, hello. I told you I would come down and see you,” he responded. “Come on in if you’d like,” they offered. Cameron wanted to, but truly needed some alone time, so he declined: “I’d love to, but can’t at the moment. I actually came down to see if you two were available for dinner tonight.” The girls were ecstatic and agreed. He replied, “Awesome, let’s meet downstairs in the hotel restaurant. I’ll put a reservation under Cameron for us at 7.” One of the girls grabbed something from a table inside their room and handed it to Cameron. “Oh, before you go. Can you give this to Nash for us?” she asked. He took the get-well card from her hand and opened it to see long messages. He smiled and thanked them. “I don’t think I ever caught your names,” he mentioned. The girl who opened the door, the same girl who went up to his hotel room when Nash was sick, introduced herself as Caleigh. The other girl said her name was Jennifer. With that, he formally introduced himself: “Well, hi. I’m Cameron Dallas. It was a pleasure to meet you both. Thanks for all you have done, and I will see you tonight.”

Cameron headed downstairs, made the reservation, and then searched for a quiet place to relax on his own. He noticed a parkette behind the hotel and figured it would be the most peaceful place. He crossed the parking lot without many people in sight. He picked a tree in the parkette and slid down the trunk onto the ground under it. He looked around and nobody else was near. He closed his eyes and was finally at peace with his thoughts. All of his muscles relaxed and for the first time in a long time, he felt good.
