Request/Idea - The author (Me)

I used the proper pronouns for each family member so for Felix, Hyunjin, Jeongin and Minho I used she/her pronouns.

"We're home!" Changbin yelled when him and his younger brother Chan came through the front door.

School had finished for Changbin and Chan around 20 minutes ago. Changbin had to walk to Chan's school as he was still in kindergarten and therefore in a different school. It took around 10 minutes to pick him up and the pair took another ten minutes to walk home.

Changbin was heading to his room room but turned around once the boys' mom, Hyunjin called the two from the living room. Changbin and Chan entered to see Hyunjin and Jisung together on the couch.

"Yea, mom? What do you need?" he asked, sitting down on the couch.

"Well" Hyunjin started, pulling Chan onto her lap, "I just wanted to say some of our family's coming over for dinner tonight."

"My brother, Seungmin's family to be exact. He's coming with Minho, Minho's sister Jeongin and your cousin, Felix" Jisung chimed in.

"Ooh, cool" Chan said.

"That's nice. When are they coming?" Changbin asked.

"At about 7:00."

Changbin nodded before leaving the living room and heading to his own room. He had gotten some math homework and quite a bit from that school day so he'd rather start in sooner than later.

He first changed out of his uniform and into something more comfortable but not pajamas. He then cleaned up the part of his room that was still a mess otherwise he would've gotten scolded before placing the homework on his desk. It was a reasonable sized packet that they were given three days to complete it. He zoned out in the middle of doing it that he startled when his phone suddenly buzzed.

Changbin closed up the packet and slid his phone in his back pocket before making his way downstairs to meet their family.

When he reached downstairs, the front door was open and his uncle, aunts and cousin all walked in. Seungmin and Minho walked in together, followed by a small Felix behind them and Jeongin at the back. He watched from afar the cute interaction between his younger brother Chan and his cousin Felix.

"Hi, Felix" Chan nervously spoke.

"Hi, Chris" Felix shyly spoke too.

"It's been a while since you were here" Chan continued.

"Yea" Felix toyed with the plushie in her hands, "A few months."

The adults watched the cute interaction between the youngests before Chan invited Felix and they left and headed to Chan's room. Changbin made his way towards the others.

"Why do you guys have luggage with you?" he asked, gesturing to the suitcases behind the three that were kinda visible.

"I guess your parents forgot to tell you, Changbin-" Seungmin started but his wife, Minho cut him off.

"We're staying for the night!" she exclaimed.

Changbin turned to Jeongin, "You can room with me" he spoke to her, grabbing the suitcase.

Everyone in the family who were currently at the house knew about Changbin having a crush on Jeongin. It was weird since Jeongin was his aunt's sister so they were related in some way but Changbin didn't care so nobody was surprised when he said this.

Changbin carried Jeongin's suitcase upstairs and to his room which was the first door on the right. He opened the door, excusing himself for leaving the mess of homework on the desk. Changbin placed Jeongin's suitcase on his bed and helped her unpack some things.

Downstairs, Hyunjin, Jisung, Minho and Seungmin were all in the kitchen talking.

"Why didn't mom and dad come?"

"They went to the waterpark instead of hanging our with their own children or taking us with them. How depressing."

"It sure is."

"What's the status on the dinner?" Minho asked no one in particular.

"Dinner's almost ready. Should we have the kids set the table?" Jisung asked from where he was making a cup of coffee.

"I'll go get Changbin and Jeongin. They can help with that" Hyunjin announced.

Hyunjin left the kitchen and went upstairs to grab her son and Jeongin. Upon seeing the door closed, Hyunjin didn't bother knocking and just barged in.

"Hey Changbin and Jeongin-" Hyunjin started but was cut off.

"CHANGBINNIEEEEE HYUNG!" Chan screamed as he ran to Changbin's room, "Felix bit me because I didn't give her back the crayon I was using" he whined.

"Bite her back. Fight violence with violence" this line by Changbin made Jeongin chuckle.

"Changbin!" Hyunjin scolded, "I'll take care of this. You two are wanted downstairs to set the table for dinner" she directed towards Changbin and Jeongin.

Jeongin and Changbin got up from Changbin's bed and left his room to help set the table per Hyunjin's orders.

~ Meanwhile in the kitchen ~

When the pair reached the kitchen area, they walked into a conversation no one in the household would expect to be uttered as even a topic in a normal conversation. Jisung and Seungmin were sitting at the table, facing each other while having a heated conversation on who'd cheat on their wife with the other's wife first. Minho was watching from one of the table ends.

"I'll make a deal with you" Jisung started, "You divorce Minho, I divorce Hyunjin then we can date the other" he finished by offering this.

"Honestly, I divorced and got back together with Minho so many times I don't even know if we're together or not" Seungmin admitted.

"What are you two talking about?" Jeongin asked as they entered the kitchen after overhearing them.

"If I get to date Hyunjin first or if Jisung gets to date Minho first" Seungmin replied.

Changbin and Jeongin both showed confused expressions before going to help set the table. Hyunjin came back down and explained everything was all good. They finished about a couple minutes after dinner was done and Changbin was tasked to get the younger ones from upstairs.

He soon came down with Felix in his arms and Chan holding his hand. He placed Felix down in one of the chairs and let Chan sit by himself. Changbin sat down beside Chan and the food was brought to the table. The dinner was 떡볶이 (tteokbokki) and a side of kimbap.

"This is pretty good" Minho announced after eating some of the kimbap, "But mine's better."

"Heh" Seungmin chuckled, biting into some tteokbokki.

"Are we still together or divorced because I would like to get divorced" Minho turned to her husband.

"I think together but I don't even know anymore" he replied.

"You got that right" Jisung agreed.

The reason why this was a bit shorter was because I got writer's block right in the middle of writing this oneshot so that's why it ends so abruptly. Also, the next oneshot will be posted in a few days so I have time to stock up on more.
