"At least I shifted when I turned 10!" We both got quiet and I turned away from him.

"Lily.. I'm.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it!" I shook my head, "No, it's fine Luke. You win."

I sat down once I got to my class, History. I usually sat in the back next to the window. Thomas and I only have 3rd and 5th period together so I'm alone for the first couple hours so yay.

A- Hopefully today will be a good day.

L- Yeah.. I'm still hurting from this morning..

A- Don't worry Lils, everything will turn out alright.

Autumn went quiet when Mrs. Mince walked in. "Good morning everyone. Please open your books to page 194. Answer questions 1 through 4 after reading the section," a few people groaned but we all started our work. I managed to finish quickly and pulled out one of my favorite book, The Forgetting. It's really good. (A/N it's an actual book and I recommend it. It's by Sharon Cameron.)

As I read, I heard something land on my desk. I looked up from my book and saw a wad of paper. Sighing, I picked it up and uncrumpled it. 'How does it feel to be useless huh? Stupid Runt!' I crumpled it and took a deep breath. 'No, Lily. Stay calm.' I got up to toss the paper in the trash and sat back down afterwards.

Snickers and giggles could be heard throughout the classroom. I clenched my fist, but stayed calm. It's no use trying to fight.
