~"How often do you see them?"

"I think when I fall asleep, it happens almost every other day now. It's gotten worse."

~"I know you've told me before, but could you describe what happens again? What you see when you fall asleep?"

"Well... I'm holding a weapon and I know there's a presence near me. It's kind of- comforting?"

~"Does that mean that what you and the person are doing is mafia-related?"

"Yes.. we're partners- not like me and Hyunjae though. We worked well together. I remember... remember? I remember feeling very connected, I guess. Maybe we were more than partners. It really seems like that."

'Patient could be experiencing fear from mafia-related work. The person in the dream could be protecting him... (However, he has never shown symptoms to this.)'

~"Do you ever see this person's face?"

"No. No matter how much I try to remember what they look like, it's all a blur. It's as if everything else is crystal clear but they aren't."

~"So what you're stressed about is trying to identify that person?"

"Not identify..."

'He gets anxious while talking about this person, the farther the conversation goes on.'

"I know this person exists. This isn't just a dream, I know that this had to have happened."

~"I understand, but we don't know for sure. It could be a very realistic dream that your mind uses to cope with the numerous difficulties of being in this industry."

"It's a memory! Why won't you ever believe me? You know something happened!"

'Patient insists that his "dreams" are "memories". Very intent on proving it to be tru-'

"Stop writing in your notebook and referring to me as a patient! We're friends, Haknyeon!"

"Hyung, wait-"

Juyeon slammed the infirmary door behind him, storming out and leaving Haknyeon alone, only to worry about his friend.

'Patient has stormed out of the room, showing signs of stress. Will be diagnosed with melatonin temporarily to help with insomnia due to the visions at night.'

Jaehyun was currently at home, as in Juyeon's house, leisurely spending his free day roaming around. After all, he was on strict measures to not 'step out of the house or I'll install every possible security system available on the market!', courtesy of Juyeon.

However, being stuck in a house alone while Juyeon is at work seems to be so deathly boring, that Hyunjae being the great person he is decides to finally look around at the place.

Even though he'd moved in a while ago, he was never able to take in the minimalistic but unique decorations of the house, starting with the few photos lined in frames on the fireplace.

"Ah, that must be Juyeon and... Eric? When they were younger?" He looked at a picture of two boys standing side by side, one of them shorter and hugging the other tightly. "Cute."

Moving onto the next one, he saw a picture of Juyeon on Namsan Tower, standing in front of the balconies with love locks covering the railings.

The picture reminded Hyunjae of his own thoughts of the place, and the Namsan Tower globe souvenir that was placed on his bedside table in his own home.

"Sangyeon took me there." He spoke quietly to himself. "And we placed a lock on there for me and Key from SHINee." The brunette laughed, recalling the words.

"That was one of the first times we were allowed to go out normally, right? That's why the memory is clear. No wonder the background looked familiar." He grinned, before a thought popped into his head.

"Juyeon will probably be tired after work. I'll make something so we don't have to order takeout again." Jaehyun made his way to the kitchen.

Suprisingly, cooking and doing housework seemed to take away every inch of boredom from Hyunjae's day.

"What can I do next to help him? Laundry?" He headed upstairs, collecting his own basket from his room and quickly taking Juyeon's as well in order to not intrude on his privacy.

The agent began walking down the hallway of the house, multiple doors on each side plaguing him.

It would be great if I actually knew where the laundry room was.

He opened a door, only to have a breeze blow on him as his eyes met the balcony leading outside.

Wrong door.

Closing it and turning around, Jaehyun saw another door.

"I'm betting on you."

As he opened it, he was met with a blue painted interior and a bed whose sheets had been nicely folded, as if not touched for a while.

More photo frames and posters covered the walls and desk, leading the clues back together.

Eric's room?

Mesmerized, Hyunjae stepped inside, setting the combined laundry basket on the floor.

His eyes swept the room, soaking up information that they seemed desperate for.

And on one of the walls, there was a picture that caught his eye.

Silhouettes standing in front of a sunset.

Assumingely Juyeon and Eric, but there were more than two.

It looked so-

"What are you doing in here?" A deep voice broke Jaehyun out of his daze, turning around to meet Juyeon.

No, it wasn't Juyeon.

Juyeon had never looked at him like that.

The younger stormed up to him, grabbing his wrist tightly, having him wince in slight pain.

"I said, what are you doing in here?"

Bitterness, anger, and scary emotions Hyunjae never thought he would have to witness were laced in Juyeon's voice.

"I was doing the laundry and- I couldn't find the laundry room..." His voice shook in fear, the grip on his wrist only getting tighter.

"So you decide to go exploring? Find out everyone's personal lives?" There's a bite to each of his words as he waits for Hyunjae to figure them out. "You thought it was okay to invade someone's space like it's your own?"

The older stands there, no words to be said and guilt flooding over him.

"Listen. You might be staying here, but it doesn't give you the right to look around like it's your own house. My life isn't yours so stop acting as if you're apart of it and doing all of these things to erase your own guilt for intruding."

Jaehyun bit the inside of his cheek to control his emotions, looking Juyeon in the eyes to try and find at least a part of him that didn't mean it.

"We're not friends so stop acting like we are. We're partners and you've already crossed that line too much. Get out."

The brunette's hands shook slightly as he unlatched his wrist from Juyeon's grip, unable to look him in the eye any longer and leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

In less than a minute, the sound of the front door opening and closing shut can be heard, as Juyeon falls to his knees in exhaustion.

Was that wrong?

No- yes. Yes it was wrong.

But he entered Eric's room. He shouldn't have done that.

It's not his place.

Juyeon opened the fridge, hoping to find some soju to calm himself for a while.

And yet he was met with multiple food containers, all home-cooked, with a post-it note stuck on the top of a pile.

He took it off, reading the handwritten sentences and having to lean on the counter to bear with waves of regret washing over him.

I got bored so I started cooking and then ended up cooking a lot. These are all of the dishes I noticed you liked over the past few days from our meals together!

It's awkward to say it in person, but I'm really glad that we're friends. Thank you for being in my life Juyeon! ≧◡≦
