Paul's POV

"I can't believe this happened." Tommy said behind me.

"She was a little grumpy now and then but otherwise she seemed fine." Eric added. They continued to converse behind me as I sat on the couch. I was continuously reading the letter.

*forgotten...Especially by my own father...* I could feel my heart breaking more and more every time I read it.

"Where's Uncle Gene?" Evan asked.

"He ran out after he gave me this letter. I'm guessing he went out to look for her." Erin said with tears in her eyes and you could hear it in her voice.

"Why would she do this?" Tommy asked.

"It's my fault." I finally spoke. I got up and walked to them. "She left because she felt like no one else cared. Because I didn't care. She believed that I had forgotten about her." My voice shook.

"Dad..." Evan came over and set a hand on my shoulder. "You could never forget her."

"It's impossible. But it seems I have. I am a terrible father."

"No you're not." Evan said sternly. "Y/N is 15. Her and May both are. You may have gotten forgetful but that doesn't mean you're a bad father." I looked at him. He smiled. "Trust me, I know."

"This can be fixed." Erin said.

"Let's go out and look for her." Eric said. We all agreed. As we were almost out the door, May came running.

"Can I go with you, please? I think she was also upset because dad was spending a lot of time with me." She had been crying. I opened my arms and she ran into them.

"Of course." She smiled as I approved.

"I'll go with mom." We nodded and went Erin and May, Tommy and Eric, and Evan and I.

Gene's POV

"I don't know how long she's been gone." I said into the phone.

"Alright. I'm walking around on the strips now. I'll call you if I her or anything." Nick said on the other end.

"Thanks Nick."

"No problem, dad." We hung up and I started to look on the sides of the road again. There had been no sign of her. I was pissed at Paul but was not letting that get to me since he was now out looking too.

Y/N's POV

I was walking toward the nearest bus station. I was getting tired but was not stopping until I got there. The lights and sigh of the station finally came into view. I sighed but almost cried as well. There were a few times I almost turned back.

"You'll be fine." I whispered. I finally got there and checked the boards, the bus I wanted to take didn't leave for an hour. I went and sat down and closed my eyes.

"Long walk?" I jumped and looked around. I finally saw Nick leaning against a nearby pillar.

"Nick?" I was confused.

"Everybody is out looking for you. Dad, Erin, Tommy, Evan, Eric,...Paul." My eyes widen. He came over and sat down. "They are all worried sick."

"Really?" He nodded and made a phone call. I didn't hear any of it. I felt him wrap an arm around me. We sat there for a while when he pulled me up. We walked outside and he took my bag. He pointed. I looked up and saw Gene.

"Hey kiddo." I smiled and ran to hug him. He hugged me tight. "You had me worried."

"I'm sorry Uncle Gene." I whispered.

"Come, let's take you home. You coming Nick?" I saw him nod and we all got in the car. We made our way back to my house. Uncle Gene made a phone call and I guess it was to my dad.

"We're here." Nick turned to me. I got out and we all walked in. As I sat down, Uncle Gene came over to me.

"Are you okay?"

"Physically, yes. Otherwise, not sure." He nodded. I saw Nick walk into the kitchen.

"I know this is hard. Paul can be a jack...an airhead sometimes, trust me I've known him long enough." I laughed. "But he never means to get so one track minded. He loves you so much. More than he can convey."

"I know." I leant back. He smiled and ran his hand through my hair. He kissed my head.

"He'll be here soon. Hear him out. You being upset broke his heart." I looked at him confused.

"But you said you hadn't seen since before he found out I left."

"Like I said, I know him. If you ever need anything, I'm here." I nodded and he got up and followed Nick. We were only waiting for about 10 minutes when the front door opened.

"Y/N!" I heard my dad yell. Running footsteps come up to me. My dad appeared in front of me. He knelt and I saw tears in his eyes. "I am so sorry, Y/N. I should have realized what I was doing. I am so sorry. I can never express that enough." He took my hands and his head fell. "I have no clue how to make this up to you."

"Shh." I looked over and saw Evan with May and Erin behind. May was crying as well.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too dad." He looked up. "I just want some time with you. Alone time. Time in general, recognition. I don't want to feel like a ghost." I launched myself forward and hugged him tight. His arms immediately hugged me tight.

"Never again. I promise." We sat there in each other's arms for a few minutes. "I am so sorry."

"I know." I pulled away and stood up. "Everything will be okay." I looked toward everyone as he got up. "I'm sorry for scaring everyone."

"You're okay, sweetheart." Eric said with a smile.

"As long as you're safe." Erin came over and kissed my head. I was hugged by everyone.

"I think we've all had enough excitement for one night." Tommy said. Everyone agreed and left with goodbyes. I sat back down on the couch and sighed. Dad sat down next to me. I snuggled into his side and he held me close. No words were said as I fell asleep.
