With no luck finding Karma national resources have given up on the search there was no end to where the location the bear ended up in they searched and searched every inch of the forest and nothing turned up.

While in the hospital evangeline was clinging onto her life cause her injuries to the bear attack were so severe that she was in critical condition, she had bleeding on her brain which caused swelling and needed to be operated on to drain the blood and reduce pressure. Her face was badly scratched and bandaged up. The doctors told Ivan and Angela that she would recover but it would take some time and patience and assurance and not to overwhelm evangeline. They put her in an induced coma till her injuries healed.

As the time passed evangeline woke up from the coma and asked where she was and what had happened her parents tried explaining to her in ways that evangeline could understand but they had no success.

The forestry officers had come by to speak to evangeline and her parents and they asked if there were any bear sightings in their area and evangeline didn't know what they were talking about.
