DAVE: and lately john hasnt been himself. a guy like kankri could possibly make john feel worse than he already is and i do not want that. johns a great guy that deserves some positivity in his life so he needs a positive person.
DAVE: john is also kind of guy to goof around and be like, that guy that can take SOME arguments too far
DAVE: so he also needs someone to remind him to chill when things get to that level.

KARKAT: JOHN AND KANKRI WOULD KIND OF BE LIKE SOLLUX AND KANKRI EXCEPT SOLLUX AND KANKRI INVOLVES MORE VERBAL SHIT TALKING. JOHN AND KANKRI WOULD BE MORE SEEMINGLY JOKING SHIT TALKING ONLY TO BE TAKEN TO HEART AND MAKE BOTH OF THEM FEEL BAD. IT WOULD BE AN UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP SPLIT EQUALLY BETWEEN BOTH SIDES.
