"What does it say?" Katie asked, standing over by the bathtub, watching Maddie stand in front of the sink, looking at the three pregnancy tests she had taken five minutes ago.

"Positive, all of them." She whispered.

"Oh my gosh, that's..." Katie paused. "You have to tell him." She said.

"What? No, are you crazy? He's a criminal!!!" Maddie said, rolling her eyes at the suggestion. "He probably won't even care." She said.

"Maddie, if he doesn't care, then he's not worth it your time. You have to tell him though, it's his baby too, and his responsibility too. Do you know where he lives, I'll drive you there." Katie said.

"Fine... Kind of by the Café on 13th, I'll know the house, but I don't know the address." She said. They both got dressed and drove to his house.

At the chain link fence that was wrapped around the large property, a guy in a vest exactly like Jude's stood. He walked over to the open car window and leaned in. "Who are you here for?" He asked, giving Katie a flirty smile. She blushed.

"Jude." Maddie said, interrupting their flirt fest.

"Jude?" He asked, looking confused. Then it seemed to dawn on him. "Oh, Jude, hold on." He said, going back over to the gate. He opened it and motioned them through and told them to park in the gravel drive way, then locked the gate behind them after they drove in. "This must be the headquarters, or club house or whatever." Katie said. "Thanks, I hadn't figured that out." Maddie said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

They got out of the car and followed the guy inside the house. "What's your names? I'm Maddie, she's just here with me, I'm the one who needs to see him." Maddie said, nervously. "Okay, wait right here." He said, leaving them alone in a living room type area while he went to go look for Jude.

It was about two minutes later, they heard voices and footsteps coming down the hall. "I don't know, she just is asking for you, calling your Jude, says her name is Maddie." He said right before they turned the corner.

Jude looked at her for a second before nodding to the other guy to leave.

"Madelyn." He said with a small smile.

Shocked that he remembered her name, she nodded a little. "C-Can we talk?" She asked softly.

He nodded. "Yeah, we can go up to my room." He said.

Maddie looked over at Katie. "I'll be right back." She whispered, before following Jude upstairs.

"So, it's nice to see you again, since you left before I woke up." He said with a smirk.

She smiled a little, but it was more of a nervous smile.

"Sorry about that. I just want to tell you one thing, and then I'll leave." She said.

He shook his head. "I didn't mean it like that, I am just wondering why you're here." He said, shrugging.

"I-I'm pregnant." She said, deciding to just blurt it out.

"And it's mine?" He asked, his voice casual, but his face a little shocked.

She glared at him. "Yes it's yours, you ass!!!" She yelled at him.

He put his hands up in a surrendering gesture. "Okay, okay, I was just asking." He said, shaking his head.

"I'm surprised, but I believe you, we weren't exactly careful." He said. "We weren't?" She asked, shocked.

"Well we were, but it broke." He said.

She sighed. "Well, I told you, and it fine if you just want me to leave you alone now. I don't need your help." She said, eyeing his vest before turning around to leave.

"Hey, wait." He said, stopping her.

"You can't just tell me you're pregnant with my kid, then just say you don't need my help and leave." He said seriously.

"I am going to be in my kid's life." He said, angry all of the sudden.

"Look, I don't really want your help. I don't want to have a baby around this." She said, pointing to his vest. "It is not the lifestyle I want my baby growing up in." She said, crossing her arms.

"Well too bad." He said, shaking his head.

"You know nothing about my club, or my life, or even me." He said, crossing his muscular arms over his chest, breathing hard angrily.

"I will be in my kid's life." He said before writing something down. "Here is my number. Text me, if I don't hear from you by noon on Friday, you'll be hearing from me." He said, his eyes glinting dangerously before he opened the door for her.
