It was a bright and warm spring Monday. The flowers on the trees were surrounded by many creatures, everything buzzed around there from bumblebees to honey bees. There were also a few butterflies. The birds flew across the almost cloudless sky while the birds in the trees sang their songs.

The door of one house was opened to allow the owner of the house to get some fresh air. He locked his door and took a few steps away from his house before stopping.

He took a deep breath before looking around a little. "That's the peace before the storm.", said the Countryhuman, who had a smile on his face so that he could enjoy the surroundings as best he could before he had to make his way to the meeting. He would prefer to be at home, knowing that a few more Countryhumans would push his nerves to the limit again.

He looked at the brightly colored flowers that were scattered all over the ground. He loved nature, because it was always full of surprises, you just had to look closer, but most other Countryhumans ignore this.

It was always about power and money, but if you didn't have joy, then you aren't complete, so that even the richest man had something he lacked. He too lacked joy. He suffered greatly from the fact that others kept reproaching him for mistakes that were not his mistakes. He checked his pockets one last time before he left.

He continued to look at the nature. It didn't take long to get to the other houses. As expected, no movement could be seen in the other houses, so all of the Countryhumans were already at their meeting point. Here he already knew that he would be late, but he didn't bother to go faster because he was too late either way.

He saw the large building in front of him. He slowly opened the glass door and went to the main room. "Now I'll get in trouble again.", he whispered before pretending to be very self confident and as if it wouldn't bother being late. Then he opened the door and ventured into the big room.

As expected, all eyes were on him. BRD was just about to explain something, but when she saw him, she immediately she ask the Countryhuman who was arriving too late: "Greater German Reich!? Where the hell have you been!? You've known for almost ninety years that you shouldn't be late." "I forgot it was Monday and overslept a little.", he told her. "Overslept a little?!", she said, "Half an hour you call a little?"

Third Reich replied: "Yes, and now don't make a drama out of it, I don't have the right to say something anyway, so I could go home again right away." "You take your seat now or I'll send you home for two weeks without payment.", she warned him. He said: "Okay, I'll sit down."

"Nazi you always have to be late? I thought you Germans were always on time.", came from someone in the crowd. Reich knew immediately that it was USSR. Soviet Union was the only Countryhuman who give him this name.

Third Reich complained immediately: "First of all, stop calling me a Nazi. I'm still not a National Socialist. And I've hated socialism for over seventy or eighty years. Second, just because many German people are often on time doesn't mean that I'm like that too."

Reich wanted nothing to do with Soviet Union. He just wanted to sit in his seat so that there would be peace, but now with Soviet it hardly brought him anything. Third Reich said: "And now please leave me alone. I have better things to do than argue with you."

When Reich tried to continue to go down the stairs towards the center, was tripped over a foot. Because he was too focused on the front, he fell down the stairs. He landed roughly on the ground, but luckily he had supported himself with his arms so that his head wouldn't hit the ground.

Everyone in the hall started laughing. Everyone laughed at him. Reich put his head on the ground too. He didn't feel like trying to get up again. Third Reich stayed on the ground and felt everything become pointless.

He hated being here, but this was the place where all Countryhumans had to live together. Whether he wanted to live here or not didn't matter, he would never escape from this place and if he tried, he would most likely die.

He was a prisoner who lived in the one place in the world where there were no rules or rights. Reich just wanted a place where nobody hate him, he didn't ask for more, but this seemed an impossible wish.

"Were you so blinded by your own wings that you missed the steps!", laughed Soviet, who broke out again with loud laughter. Of course, that was a nod to the wings Reich owned. Third Reich was the only Countryhuman with white wings.

The color of the wings always had a meaning with the time when they owned their lands. Black meant that the person was responsible for a many deaths, poisoning and rapes. Reich's white wings meant that he was caring, compassionate and trying as best as he could to help others, no matter how difficult it was and he had to work against the orders he was given.

There were a few other colors, but most of the other Countryhumans had either black or red wings. Red wings meant that the Countryhuman had no problems with violence and more, but didn't get involved in these events and sometimes even liked to watch.

Reich heard someone come up to him and saw that someone reached out his hand to help him up. When the Countryhuman lying on the ground looked up, he saw Austria, who was almost the same age as him, in front of him, she said: "Let me help you up." However, Third Reich thought that she was just trying to outsmart him. Without any help from her, he supported himself on the ground and said to her, in order not to appear too impolite: "I'm sorry Austria. I am fine." He got up.

"You are fine?! We all already know that you have lost your mind!", laughed Soviet Union, "Because still clear thinking Countryhuman wouldn't consider humans more than his own kind than other Countryhumans. People are stupid and just few even know what we are really doing."

Third Reich spoke against it: "Humans aren't stupid and there are more and more who know what is really going on and defend themselves against it. We shouldn't enslave people anymore! We should all live side by side with them. We are not that different from humans."

Almost the whole room started laughing again. Nobody believed him, even if that was the truth. That's why he didn't even have any friends in this place.

Unfortunately, it couldn't fly away with its wings because it couldn't fly. Only Countryhumans who had found the love of their life had the ability to fly, which is why almost no Countryhumans could fly. Love was like the most forbidden thing there was. Only Countryhumans who had already done their job were allowed to fall in love and even then it was not welcomed.

"Nazi, you don't seriously believe that humans are really that similar to us, do you?", asked USSR Third Reich. "Yes and I'll stick with it!", the Countryhuman explained to him. Soviet Union got up and stood on the stairs.

Reich knew full well that if he said one more wrong sentence, that there was going to be a fight. However, his emotions did not play along with him. He wanted to keep fighting against the opinions of the others. Up until that point, Third Reich was the only one who spoke out against injustice.

USSR said: "Nazi I think you are standing on very thin ice. But you have to know what you are doing." Reich overcame his fear and provoked: "Why should I know that and not you? Oh yes! I still have the highest IQ value of all those tested here. I am not surprised that you were already so stupid back then and really thought you could get away with breaking the contract."

Third Reich saw Soviet Union grow angrier. Reich had a plan where he just had to be careful not to provoke Soviet too much. "We all know that you want to deal with me and they all just look like they would like a bloody ending for me, so tear me apart or do you have a spark of humanity in you?", Reich provoked.

Soviet Union took a quick look at Britain before he received confirmation from him that he was allowed to attack Third Reich. USSR was getting closer and closer to the other Countryhuman, who was small in comparison to him and Soviet roughly grabbed him by his collar.

"Soviet Union I have a suggestion for you. How about a last game of chess. If you win, you can drag me to your torture cellar for a week or two or kill me. If I win, you'll leave me alone for two weeks.", he suggested.

"Good, you will spend two weeks in my torture cellar.", Soviet Union giggled happily and confidently, then he let the other Countryhuman down. "I will win!", said Soviet Union. Third Reich replied: "We will see."

"No, you will see. I am the king of chess.", he said. Third Reich replied: "Fortunately, I am the emperor of chess and am not surrounded and then lose like you." Soviet Union gave him a venomous look. Self confidence came over Reich and he was no longer afraid of losing. He knew how the game worked and just had to make moves that will confuse USSR and then he would win.

BRD went down from the stage, while GDR and Ireland put the table on the stage and Switzerland and Argentina dragged chairs on it. Then Soviet Union went ahead and sat on the chair chosen by him. He was at the side with the black figures. Then Reich sat on the white side.

Soviet took a few gold pieces out of his jacket pocket. He said confidently: "I put ten gold pieces on top." Reich reached into his jacket pocket, took his other hand and dropped something into it and counted before adding more gold pieces to the little pile with two full hands. "I put another forty gold pieces on top.", he said.

Everyone in the room took in a breath, because it was extremely rare to see someone with forty gold pieces that they just had with them. Soviet Union couldn't believe his eyes and asked: "Where did you get so many gold pieces from?" USSR tried as best he could to hide his amazement. "That is not important. Should we play now or not?", asked Third Reich.

Soviet Union demanded: "First of all, I want to know from you why you have bet so much and secondly, I request that you be investigated so that we can all be sure that you are not cheating."

Third Reich replied: "I want to make sure you do your best and I happen to have so much with me. Also, you should already know that I am not cheating. If I am checked, I will ask that you be checked as well, as this would be fair for both of us."

Soviet Union thought for a short time until he said: "Good!" Then Austria, Indonesia, South Africa and Brazil came on stage. Both Countryhumans got up and went to two other Countryhumans each, who took off one item of clothing after the other and examined them carefully.

At some point Third Reich had nothing left on his upper body, whereupon he said: "Are we both standing here naked in the end?" "No, only everything on the upper body and the trousers have to be examined.", said Soviet, who put his shirt back on.

After nothing was found, both dressed again and sat in their chairs before Soviet made his first move. It took some time.

In the end, Soviet's king was surrounded by Reich. The big Countryhuman looked at the field in front of him speechless. "Check... mate," Reich sayed before standing up. He went closer to Soviet Union and gave him his hand.
