That evening, you and your bestie decide to watch something non-Tom related. Well, it was more of an unspoken agreement as you still weren't talking and didn't disagree with her when she suggested Moulin Rouge. You did love this movie after all.

For some reason, throughout watching the movie, you felt pangs here and there, feeling more emotional than usual, but when Christian and Satine sang Come What May, you couldn't help crying. It felt personal.

As Christian and Satine were singing, you started seeing images. Instead of Christian and Satine, you saw yourself and Tom. You were wearing a beautiful white gown. He wore an incredible tux (not that there was ever a suit or tux in which he didn't look good). You two were dancing to this song.

His face was clean shaven, hair shorter, eyes full of love and adoration. Unlike your recent dreams, he was awake, refreshed, and full of life and vigor. He was holding you in a close embrace, tightly as if he were worried you might float away at any moment.

You took a glance at yourself and realized this was not just a gown. It was a wedding dress, a beautiful one that hugged you in all the perfect places. Your hair was swept up with some curled tendrils left down.

His tuxedo wasn't just a tuxedo. It looked special for this moment. He even had a red rose attached to his lapel.

As you two continued to dance, you noticed others around the room, just off the dance floor. It felt as if you were surrounded by family and friends. You felt the love and hope not only in the room but also in yourself.

There were moments where he would sing to you, whispering in your ear.

Listen to my heart

Can't you hear it sings

Telling me to give you everything

Seasons may change

Winter to spring

But I love you

Until the end of time

You never wanted this daydream to end. It felt familiar and warm, and you wanted to stay in it forever.

As the song was ending, you returned back to the couch with your friend and the movie, crying quietly. You continued to visit that daydream as the movie played and slipped back to your room as soon as it ended.

When you drifted off to sleep, you dreamt more of the wedding and the reception. At the wedding, you saw red roses and white gerbera daisies in your bouquet. Your bridesmaids were wearing dark blue dresses with small bouquets of red roses. The groomsmen were wearing black tuxedos with blue waistcoats that matched the bridesmaids' dresses as well as a red rose on their lapels.

Tom was the only one who did not have a blue waistcoat. To stand out, his was black. His boutonniere also had a larger rose than his groomsmen.

You failed to notice how the rest of the church was decorated as you and Tom could not tear your eyes away from each other, barely paying attention to the officiant. Once the "I Dos" were said, he brought you close, dipping you before kissing you as the officiant told him he could kiss his bride, wolf whistles coming from both the groomsmen and the crowd.

As dreams often do, it skipped straight to the reception where you and Tom entered as the DJ announced "Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hiddleston", smiles plastered on both your faces. You both made your way to the center of the dance floor as your song, Come What May, began. He held you close, his arms wrapped around your waist and yours around his neck with your head resting on his chest by the end of the song, neither wanting the moment to end.

You then danced with your oldest brother as your father had passed away a few years earlier. Your oldest brother never had children, and he was always your buddy (a nickname he had for you when you were little). The father/daughter dance meant as much to him as it did to you because he and his wife found out a while back they could not have kids. So this might be his only chance to do one of these dances.

Once the song was over, you returned to your husband. Glancing around the room, you saw not only your family and his, but also his Avengers family: RDJ, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, and others.

With everything that had happened to you lately, you never wanted this dream to end, but soon you woke up back in your apartment. Unlike the other dreams, this one seemed a little different but so very familiar. Why tho? You didn't know this man. You wanted to, and you wanted this dream to be real.

Rather than dwell on the existential, you kept it locked in the back of your head as an amazing dream, not minding when it decided to make unscheduled appearances throughout the day.
