19 Years Later

Dear Hailey,

I never thought I'd have to let you go so fast. But here we are today. I finally understand why you did it. A part of me was hurt, but a part of me was betrayed. adjusting to a world without you was hard. But when I look at Teddy or any of our nephews or nieces, I know you did it for them. For their future. For a better world. and I've finally learnt to move on.

It took some time. A long time actually. Harry was devastated. He shut himself away for months. He lost his last bit of family that day. Hermione lost her best friend. Ginny lost a sister. And I lost, the love of my life.

An explanation would've been nice. But I guess we both ran out of time. But it's alright. I wake up every day very happily. Wanna know why? Because each day I wake up I am another day closer to seeing you again. I hope and pray that you are in a better place. Doing better. This world lost an angel. This life did you bad. You deserve happiness.
