~Jude~

We finish finding clothes for Cardan, it took me a while to figure out the plastic card thingy Vivi gave me, apparently it was a debit card. The cashier lady helped me figure it out. I also bought some new clothes for myself that aren't just legings, I got some jeans, shorts, and skirts. And some cute new tops too. We head to the food court where we meet up with Vivi and Heather.

"I don't understand all of this." Cardan says as I hold his hand, weaving us in and out through crowds.

"Don't understand what?" I ask him.

"How mortal's live their lives, it's so... unnatural." He says, I chuckle a little.

"I used to live this way, a long time ago, I barely remember it, I barely know this place at all." I tell him.

"I'm sorry." He tells me, I find it weird that he is apologizing to me, the Folk don't normally apologize to anyone

"Don't be." I say to him, while turning to him and smiling a little. We finally reach the food court and find a table to sit at while we wait for Vivi and Heather. My right leg bounces up and down and I have my hands cupped on the table. Cardan had gone off to the bathrooms to go get changed into more suitable clothes. I look around waiting to see a face I regonize. I see Cardan's face as he leaves the bathrooms. Two girls had stopped him. I get up and walk towards him. When I get into hearing distance I hear them say.

"Heyyy."

"Hello." Cardan says while flashing them a smile.

"I'm sorry this may sound a bit weird but I was wondering if I could get your phone number or something? Your really handsome and I would love to get to know you." One of the girls says while touching his arm. I get a familar feeling in my stomach. It feels like a hole, eating everything inside of me leaving only one feeling in there that I truly hate.

"Hey honey." I say while smiling at him and wrapping my arms around him.

"Um exuse me but who are you?" The second girl asks.

"Whose asking?" I ask while stepping away from Cardan.

"Um me." The girl who was flirting with Cardan says, "I'm sorry I know your just jealous that I have a boyfriend that's attractive while your ugly ass can't get someone to save her own life." I laugh a little and put my hand on my chest.

"Is he your boyfriend?" I ask while jerking my thumb towards Cardan.

"Uh yes." The girl says, I turn to Cardan.

"Is that true?" I ask Cardan while turning to him.

"It is true baby." The girl says.

"Why would it be true? I'm married." Cardan says confused.

"What?" The second girl asks, I laugh a little.

"Oops." I say while holding up my left hand and showing them my ring that was origanlly mine but Cardan had stolen and then given to me when we got married.

"Ugh whatever, he is ugly anyways, come one Cassie." The second girl says while grabbing the first girls arm. I smile and turn to Cardan. He grabs my waist and kissea my cheek.

"God that was so fucking hot." He says, "I didn't know you could get jealous my darling."

"I don't know what you're talking about." I say, I grab his hand and we walk back to the table we were orgianlly at to find Heather and Vivi already there.

"Where were you guys?" Heather asks.

"Someone was flirting with Cardan." I say.

"Oh god, Jude this is going to be your 3rd fucking lawsuit for attempted murder, and you've already been banned from Costco, the movie theater, and Oaks school." Vivi says.

"Oh my fucking god Jude!" Heather says shocked, "I knew you had anger issuses and other things but really?!"

"God thats even more hot." Cardan says while shaking his head, we all turn to him.

"Okay you fucking horn-dog." Vivi says.

"What is wrong with you all?" Heather asks.

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you the 5 times Jude was arrested for violence." Vivi says.

"I'M SORRY ARRESTED?!" Heather shouts while standing up, then she finally realizes that she had yelled and she cleared her throat and slowly slunk back into her seat.

"The longest she was in jail for was about a month and a half, she had one of those ankle detecor things on for about a month too." Vivi says.

"Fuckkkkk." Cardan says.

"God Cardan are you turned on by everything Jude does?" Vivi asks.

"Fuck yeah..." Cardan's eyes widen, "I-I mean no, god no, I just find it, uhh, uhh, cool!" He says while slowly sliding down in his seat.

"And on that note I think it's time to head home." I say.

"I agree." Heather says.

"Yep just ginme a sec." Cardan says while sitting there before getting up, we head out to Heather's car where we all pile into it, Heather driving, Vivi in the passengers seat, and me and Cardan in the back.

"I kinda don't wanna sit next to Cardan." I say.

"Why?" Vivi asks.

"He keeps touching me leg." I say.

"You'll be fine, it's like a 20 min drive." Heather says.

"Ughh." I huff out, I swat his hand away. "Stop touching me."

"I'm not!" Cardan says.
