In Indraprastha;

Sanjay arrived with a proposal from Maharaj Dhritrashtra to Samrat Karn. "Samrat, maharaj Dhritrashtra has invited you to a game of dyut." He said handing him the letter. Karn thought for a while before answering in affirmative and stating that although he is not able to come ther this time but all his brothers will definitely be there. 

"Samrat, I don't think you should go." Sanjay said. "Why? What happened?" Duryodhan asked. "This is a plot of Gandharraj Shakuni and Sindhuraj Jaydrath." Sanjay said after a bit of hesitation. "Don't worry kaka nothing will happen. But, we have to come as it is Tatshree's orders." Yudhisthir said and Karn nodded. 

So, it was decided that they would be going there. "Yudi I think we should call Vanshu." Karn said to him. "Okay. I will send a letter through Rao." He said nodding. "No. Send a letter through a doot." Duryodhan said a bit startled. "Why?" Arjun asked raising an eyebrow. 

"He is out doing my business." Duryodhan said his ears turning red. "Okay. I will send a messenger." Yudhisthir said chuckling. "But bhrata there is no need for bhabhishree to come." Arjun said. "I think one of the kulvadhus should go and moreover she is the only one who has even fought wars and has fighting experience. So if we take Sanjay kaka's advice then we should be careful." Karn explained and they all nodded.

Meanwhile in Saurashtra;

Sanchi arrived the next day and it took Vinay 3 days to reach there. "Gol gappe?" Vanshika asked as a form of greeting. "They would have been ruined on my way here that's why I will be making them here. "Alright, then go to the kitchen." She ordered. "I have just arrived!" He exclaimed staring at her like she had grown two heads.

"I don't care. I just need gol gappe and kachori." She said licking her lips her mouth watering just by the thought of it. "Okay I'll make them just let me rest for a while." He said and Vanshika jumped on him happily not caring that all her courtiers were there. "Thank you! You are the best!" She said trying to contain herself from practically jumping up and down.

"Oh and by the way how was journey?" She asked making him and the others gape at her. "Are you serious? You ask that now?" Vinay asked in shock. "So, I had more important concerns." She said shrugging. "Like what?" He asked. " Like my food." She answered angrily before storming away fuming. "What did I do?" He asked Sanchi who just shrugged.

Later that day, they were all sitting and were having a sibling bonding time when Vinay noticed something. "Vanshu, you're becoming fat." Vinay observed making Vanshika gape at him in anger as well as shock while everyone else snickered. "Yeah at least one of us is otherwise looking at you seems like I am looking at a stick. Sookha kahika, huh." She retorted smiling. 

"Oi I eat a lot." He said angrily. "Doesn't seem like so." Vanshika retorted and both of them started bickering. "Okay okay stop. What are you both doing!" Sanchi said interrupting them before they end up killing each other.

"He/She started it." They said in unison pointing at each other. 

Later that day she got a letter from Indraprastha telling her that she had to reach Hastinapur in 2 days. "It takes 5 days to reach there." She stated to the messenger who came to deliver the message. The messenger blinked a few times before remember the exact thing that he had to say. 

"No, sorry, Maharani ji, but you have to reach Indraprastha in 2 days and then all of you have to reach Hastinapur in 5 days after that." He corrected himself bowing apologetically. "It always takes me at least 3 days to reach Indraprastha, how do they expect me o reach there in 2?" She asked him annoyed. 

"Okay you rest here for sometime and then go." She told him and called some servants to show him a guest room and went to prepare for her departure. "Lakshu can you lease look after the rajya in the time I am gone. I will coronate you the yuvraj as soon as I am back. I promise." Vanshika said coming inside his chambers. 

"Jiji you don't need to bribe me, I will do it anyway. By the way where are you going?" Lakshman said smiling. "Indraprastha, got the message that I have to be there in 2 days and from there we will go to Hastinapur." She informed him. "But we just came." came Vinay's whiny voice from behind her making her jump. "What are you doing here." She asked turning around so fast that she almost got whiplash.

"We were always here you were just to preoccupied to notice." He said gesturing to him and Sanchi. "Oh and to answer you previous question, you can go back to Mithila, I don't care. I was under the impression that you came here to meet him and not me." Vanshika retorted falling back on the bed, sighing. "I will be gone tomorrow, how many days are you staying?" She asked both Vinay and Sanchi. "A week." Vinay answered while Sanchi shrugged saying that she was here for at least a month or two before she would go back.

"Vanshu come outside I need to talk to you." Vinay said after a few moments of comfortable between the four siblings. "Why?" She asked. "Okay I'll ask you here. Do you think we can trust them?" He asked. "Who?" Vanshika asked. "Arey the people of Hastinapur!" Vinay exclaimed. "Don't worry. Dushasan is with us." She assured him. Vina nodded still not fully convinced.

The next day, Vanshika went to Indraprastha handing over the responsibilities to Lakshman. In the way, she was thinking about what Vinay had said. She had forgotten all the events that happened after rajsuya yagna and was now remembering them. She decided to not let Draupadi suffer like that again at any cost. 

"Hey bhagwan, please don't let anything like that happen to Draupadi again." She prayed. Reaching Indraprastha after 3 days, she questioned Yudhisthir about the same who berated her about even thinking such a thing. "Vanshu, Dushasan is our brother he would not anything like that." He explained to her later. "I hope you are right. I hope you are right." She said hugging him. 

The next day they all left for Hastinapur. Karn stayed behind as there was something he need to do. Yudhisthir, Vanshika, Duryodhan, Bheem, Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev were the only ones going. Vanshika was very nervous she didn't want t believe that those people had any mal-intentions towards them but her mind was not listening to her heart who was telling her not to worry and that everything would be alright. 

"Vanshika what happened?" Yudhisthir asked her. "Nothing." She said a bit too quickly. "Something has happened. What is it?" He asked her softly but in a stern voice. "Wo, we were getting late na so I wore saree above the pajamas I was wearing." She said fidgeting with the safety pin she had pinned to keep the saree steady. Yudhisthir chuckled shaking his head. 

They reached there and there was a celebration for them. All the while Vanshika's foot was tapping even when Yudhisthir glared at her. She just shrugged and her foot continued tapping. "Alright, now it's time for dyut." Shakuni mama said an evil glint in his eyes. "Okay let's go." Yudhisthir said and everyone moved towards the sabha where dyut was to be held. 

"Arey maharani Vanshika where are you going." Shakuni ased stopping her at the entrance of the sabha. "Inside." She said ponting towards the direction of the door. "You cannot go." He said. "Why?" She asked. "Chausar is not for women only men will play." He said sweetly. "Okay. I just need to talk to Arya." She said. "Maharani you can talk to him later." Shakuni said and Vanshika looked at Yudhisthir in panick. 

"Mamashree, it will take only a minute I assure you." Yudhisthir said and stepped outside with his wife. "Arya please don't forget what you said about your dharm." She requested. "What did I say?" He asked confused.

"You forgot that early!! Never mind you said that-" she was interrupted by Shakuni who said, "Putra Yudhisthir you can talk to your wife later. Come inside." 

"Just remember Raj Dharm and Bhratra dharm is greater than any other." She called after him. He turned to her and smiled nodding. "And pati dharm too." She whispered as he disappeared behind the door. Vanshika went to her room which was shown to her by a dasi and she just sat there removing her saree waiting for whatever came her way.
