Vanshika was being treated in a room while everyone else except Dushasan, Jaydrath and Shakuni were standing outside the room. By each passing second, Yudhisthir was drowning more in his guilt. He was so absorbed in his guilt that he asked Arjun, Nakul and Sahdev to burn his hands. "Arjun, Nakul, Sahdev please burn these hands of mine." He requested them with tears in his eyes.

"What are you saying Yudi?" Karn asked shocked. "What is wrong in wanting that Jyesht? These hands brought so much pain for our family. Vanshika, the queen of Saurashtra, the one on whose feet even the devas bow, who has never wronged anyone, today these hands wronged her, Jyesht." Yudhithir said crying holding his hands up and then ordered his younger brothers to follow his request and hey reluctantly and with tears in eyes put their elder's hands in the fire.

"There's no need to do this bhratashree." came Krishna's voice from across the hallway, the usual mischief and mysteriousness gone from his voice replaced by graveness, disappointment and anger. The three brothers quickly pulled their elder's hand out of the fire. The vaidya came outside the room in which Vanshika was being treating followed by Gandhari and Kunti. "How is she?" Bheem was the first one to ask.

"She is fine but she had a miscarriage due to the impact on her stomach. We have cleansed her system so there wont be a problem with her." The vaidya told them. "Miscarriage!?" Yudhisthir whispered shocked and broken. "Yes. She was 3-4 months pregnant." He told them. "Yuvraj Yudhisthir you should go inside." He suggested before walking away. Yudhisthir gulped nodding and went inside. He couldn't stop the tears from escaping at the sight of his wife being in this state because of him.

He sat down beside her taking her hands in his. "I am sorry Vanshu. I am really sorry. I am such a fool. I am a very big sinner. I don't even deserve to live." He said crying. "Don't say that Arya." Vanshika spoke groggily opening her eyes looking up at him. He saw her eyes that once held liveliness and a childishness in them were now completely empty and lifeless. "Why? I caused you so much pain. Then why are you saying this?" He asked her.

"Because this is what gambling is. It makes a person loose complete control that he has over himself. That's the thing that happened to you. It's all the evil trio's fault not yours. You know Mama Shakuni has dice that follows his command. That's why you lost all the gambles except for the first few." She explained smiling at him. She tried sitting up but winced as a sharp pain shot in her abdomen making her hiss in pain.

"You shouldn't sit up." He said supporting her to lay back down. "Why? What happened?" She asked frowning. "You were pregnant." He answered not meeting her eyes as tears flowed from his eyes. "I was pregnant. I was pregnant." She whispered and when it finally came sinking to her, she stood up angrily from the bed ignoring the sharp pain shooting in her abdomen.

"Get out." She growled at him her voice dangerously low. "Vanshu I-" he said shocked by the dark aura that surrounded her in a matter of seconds. She grabbed his hands and pushed him out of the room and closing the door in his face before he could even react. After that she slid down against the door breaking into tears and heart wrenching sobs. On the other side of the door, Yudhisthir was also kneeling down his hand pressed on the door as he also cried.

After what some seemed like eternity, they heard that the crying had stopped from inside and Krishna carefully picked Yudhisthir up and went inside closing the door behind him. He saw the room dimly lit with Vanshika sitting on the floor eyes red from all the crying, her kajal smudged and bruises covered her almost on every part of her body.

"Thank you Keshav." She said in a quiet voice. "For what?" He asked sitting beside her. "For saving my honor. You know whatever I was wearing beneath that saree wouldn't have made any difference to those... those monsters." She said in an emotionless voice, tears all dried up from all the crying. "I just repaid your debt. The one that you had on me when you tied my wound with that piece of cloth." He said gravely.

"I know. But still." She said bringing her knees close to her chest and burying her face in it. "I think we should go out." She continued after a moment. "Are yiu sure?" He asked. "Mhmm. After all we have to go vanvas also." She smiled at him.

Krishna was amazed by the amount of courage she had. She was ready to continue even after just losing her unborn child and facing so much humiliation. They went outside and everyone gasped after seeing her state. "Vashu!" Karn exclaimed in shock and enveloped her in a hug. "Jyesht." She said feeling secure and safe from the whole world.

"Alright guys let's get ready for the vanvas and agyatvas." She said breaking from the hug and facing everyone. "No. You will not anywhere." Kunti announced and Gandhari nodded from beside her. "But mata, we already agreed." Vanshika reasoned. "No." Kunti denied. "Mata please. We will come back strong and then I myself will kill the bastards." She said determined. "So what abiut my oath." Bheem said.

"I can spre one for you, manjhale bhaiya." She said making everyone laugh. Yudhishthir also smiled through his tears. She looked at him and her fratured softened. "Come on let's get ready to leave." She said but was again stopped by Kunti. "Okay then wait till you're fully recovered. You cannot possibly go in this state." Kunti said. "Okay mata. As you say. But I won't be staying here. We will go back to Indraprastha for the mean time." Vanshika said sighed.

"Okay putri." Gandhari said remorsefully. The next day, the pandavas, Vanshika and Kunti left for Indraprastha and from there they would go to their voyage.
