In a galaxy far, far away...

*Third Person's POV*

"Sir, a YT-Model Freighter has been spotted directly ahead of us." A First Order Officer on the Finalizer Bridge told Supreme Leader, Kylo Ren. "What?" Kylo said, sounding shocked. He, along with General Hux, walked towards the Bridge window to investigate.

As they were looking out in the clear, starry, darkness of outer space, Kylo spotted something. He was stunned of what he saw flying in outer space.

"It's the Millennium Falcon!" He said. General Hux looked at him, confused and dumbfounded. "How could you be so sure, Supreme Leader?" He asked. Kylo eyed General Hux, with a bit of anger and annoyance. "Are you doubting me, Hux? I know that starship freighter anywhere!" He said. After that, General Hux didn't say a word and he cleared his throat.

Kylo turned to one of the navigators. "How many on board?" He asked. "Our scanners have detected three passengers and a droid on board, sir." One of the navigators answered. Kylo, then, turned his attention back to the Millennium Falcon.

"What do you suggest we do, Supreme Leader?" General Hux asked. Kylo didn't say a word as he kept his attention on the Millennium Falcon. But, then, he said, calmly, "Send a TIE Fighter squadron out there. Blow that piece of junk out of the galaxy."

*Rey's POV*

Finn, Poe, BB-8, and I were in the Millennium Falcon flying through the galaxy. I piloted while Poe co-piloted, with Finn and BB-8 standing behind us in the cockpit. We were on a mission to look for a new planet for the Resistance. So far, we have not found a suitable planet where the First Order wouldn't find the Resistance Base.

The First Order hasn't found us since the Battle of Crait. Plus, I have not had any more Force Connections with Kylo Ren. Not after what he did.

"How much longer til we find a new planet?" Finn asked, sounding a bit impatient. "We'll find one when we find one, Finn." Poe answered. I chuckled a bit and said, "We should be entering the Solar System in about twenty minutes or less, Finn." "Good. I know Leia and the Resistance are counting on us to find a new place for the base. Plus, I hope Rose is okay." Finn said.

"I'm sure Rose is doing fine, Finn. We've got the best medical team in the Resistance. We'll find a new planet soon. Right now, the Resistance is temporarily settled on Arkanna with one of our allies for now and they're safe." Poe said. BB-8 beeped at Poe in response. "That's right, BB-8. The First Order won't find them either. Heck. They're probably too busy out in the galaxy somewhere searching for a deserted planet of their own." Poe said, chuckling a bit.

I was about to say something, but something caught my eye. "You guys, our scanners just picked up something." I said. Poe and Finn leaned over to take a look. "What do you make of it?" Finn asked. I looked at the scanners a little closer and said, "It appears to be a warship, but it's at a far away distance, I can't tell what it is."

But, then, something else appeared on the scanners. "Wait a second. Now the scanners have picked up multiple sources coming towards us. There's about twelve of them." I said. Then, we all looked up at the window at the same time. We were shocked of what was coming towards us that we have never thought we'd see in a long time.

"TIE Fighters! It's the First Order! They found us!" Poe exclaimed. "Battle stations! Poe, activate the shields! Finn, go down to gunner position! Hurry!" I ordered. "I'm on it!" Finn said, and, then, he rushed out of the cockpit. I grabbed the steering wheel and prepared for battle.

*Third Person's POV*

As the twelve TIE Fighters got closer, Rey steered the Millennium Falcon away from them just in the nick of time as they began firing their lasers. Rey steered while Poe kept an eye on nearby TIE Fighters and Finn was controlling the laser cannon down below. In a short amount of time, there were now nine TIE Fighters firing at them.

"Rey, we've got three right behind us!" Poe warned Rey, who saw three more TIE Fighters coming towards them in front. Rey hesitated at first, but, then, she had an idea.

"Hold on tight! I'm going up!" She said. Poe strapped his seatbelt on tight and Finn made sure that his was on tight as well. But before BB-8 could hold onto something, Rey accelerated the speed as she was heading towards the three TIE Fighters in front of them, causing BB-8 to roll back, uncontrollably.

Then, suddenly, Rey steered the Millennium Falcon upwards, causing the six TIE Fighters to collide into each other. "Whoo!" Finn yelled, as he watched the explosion from the window in front of him.

While that was happening, BB-8 was floating in mid-air as he was falling backwards. As Rey steered to the left, BB-8 landed hard on the metal floor and he stopped in a section of the where the escape pods were.

"Rey, TIE Fighter on our left!" Poe pointed out. "I see it!" Rey said, as she steered down to dodge the nearby TIE Fighter. At the same time, BB-8 was caught in mid-air, once again. Then, Rey steered to the left and Finn fired at the TIE Fighter.

BB-8 landed on a button and fell into an open escape pod. After that, the escape pod door closes, trapping BB-8 inside it. Then, the escape pod moved towards the escape door and it automatically opened. BB-8 beeped as if he was saying 'uh oh'.

All of a sudden, the escape pod was ejected out of the Millennium Falcon and the thrusters started firing up, flying away from the freighter.

As Finn was firing at a TIE Fighter, he noticed the escape pod. "Rey, one of the escape pods has been ejected out the of Falcon!" He said through the headset. Rey and Poe, briefly, looked at each other, confused. Then, Poe looked behind and he didn't see BB-8. "Where's BB-8?" He asked.

*Kylo's POV*

"Sir, an escape pod has been ejected and it's flying away from the freighter." A First Order navigator informed me. I turned around and faced the navigator. "Anyone in it?" I asked. "It's a droid, sir. A BB Unit." The navigator answered. I was blown away that a droid happened to be in an escape pod. Why would a droid be in it?

It didn't matter to me anyway. I turned my attention back to the Millennium Falcon. "Have that remaining TIE Fighter destroy that escape pod." I ordered.

*Third Person's POV*

"I'm sure BB-8 is in that escape pod. Let's get him back here before the escape pod gets further away from us." Rey said, as she steered the Millennium Falcon around and headed towards the escape pod.

But, then, a TIE Fighter flew passed them and started firing at the escape pod. "That TIE Fighter's gonna destroy that escape pod. Rey, hurry!" Poe said, panicking a little. "I am, Poe! Finn, fire on that TIE Fighter before it shoots that escape pod! BB-8 is inside it!" Rey ordered. "I'm on it!" Finn said back, as he began firing at the TIE Fighter.

As BB-8 heard the laser shots, he started looking around for any button or something that could help him. He found one button and pressed it with one of his antennas. But nothing happened. All it did was make a red light blink multiple times. Then, he tried another button and it ended up accelerating the speed of the escape pod to go faster.

Just as the TIE Fighter was about to fire on the escape pod, Finn aimed the laser cannon at the TIE Fighter and fired at it, blowing it up into pieces. "Yeah!" Finn yelled. "Well done, Finn!" Rey said.

"But where's the escape pod?" Poe asked, as he and Rey looked around of what was in front of them. All there was out there were stars and debris from the TIE Fighter. It's like the escape pod disappeared out of thin air. Moments later, Finn came into the cockpit and stood behind and Rey and Poe.

"How could it just disappear? We were right behind it." Finn said. "We don't know, Finn. Maybe BB-8 accidentally pressed a button that activated the thrusters to increase the speed. That's probably why the escape pod is out of our sight." Rey said.

But, then, Poe looked at the control panel and saw a small red light blinking. "It's the escape pod's emergency beacon. BB-8 must've activated it. Rey, scan that emergency beacon and figure out where that escape pod is heading." Poe said. "Right away, Poe." Rey said, and, then, she started scanning the emergency beacon.

*Kylo's POV*

I was so angry that the Millennium Falcon was still in one piece. I wanted to take my Lightsaber and slash something nearby. Like General Hux, for instance. But I let that set aside for now.

I noticed the Millennium Falcon was moving away. I had a feeling that it was following that escape pod. I strode down to the navigation station of the Bridge, with General Hux following me. We stood behind one of the navigators. "Figure out where that escape pod is heading." "Yes, Supreme Leader." The navigator said and, then, he started scanning.

"Ren, you're wasting your time. Why is it important to follow that escape pod?" General Hux asked. "Because I think that escape pod was a diversion to get rid of our last TIE Fighter. I have a feeling that escape pod is heading to the Resistance's new base. They're probably hiding somewhere around this area of the galaxy. Why else would the Millennium Falcon be following it?" I explained.

General Hux looked at me, dumbfounded, once again, but, then, he said, "You've got a point. Keep scanning." "Yes, General." The navigator said, as he continued scanning.

*Rey's POV*

After I scanned the emergency beacon from the escape pod, I finally found the location of where it was heading. "I've got the coordinates of where BB-8 is going." I said. Poe and Finn looked at me, anxiously. "Where, Rey?" Finn asked.

*Kylo's POV*

Seconds later, the navigator got the results. "There, Supreme Leader." He pointed to the screen. I looked at the destination and, then, I looked at General Hux. "Well, General Hux, looks like we've got a mission to find the Resistance Base." I said. "And where will the destination be, Ren?" He asked.

*Rey/Kylo's POV*

"Earth."
