After we took richelle home,i lay down on my bed. I try to close my eyes to sleep but I can't all I can see is my class mates lifeless bodies laying there,i sit up,breathing heavily,i contemplate texting em to ask her to come over but she's probably asleep, i see that boyfriend text me but I'll text him tomorrow. I go on Instagram so I can relax when I get a text from em

M:I'm fine
E:you think I believe that? I'm coming over!
M:seriously I'm fine
I rub my eyes in exhaustion,my mum walks in "hey darling how you doing?"my mum asks "tired but em is coming over"i say as she sits down on my bed hugging me "your going to be okay darling!"my mum says "yeah but I didn't know that one person could fuck up my life within 10 minutes"i say tearing up "I know oh emily is here!"my mum says before leaving to open the door "hi miss Kate!"em says "hi darling!"my mum says. I hear em walk through the hallway,em knocks on my door "hey can I come in?"em asks "yeah of course!" I say wiping the tears off my cheeks. Em Walks in with flowers "are they for me?" I ask "yeah"em says passing them to me, we walk out of my room and i put them in water, i hug her "come on you look so tired"em says grabbing my hand "yeah I am"i say softly as we walk into my room "feel free to use my clothes"i say sitting down on my bed,i hear a car pull up and I look out my window,to see my boyfriend,i open my window "what's up babe?" I ask "I wanted to check on you"my boyfriend says "I'm fine you need to leave though!"i say "you look exhausted!"my boyfriend says "no im fine I just had a sleep"i lie "okay baby"my boyfriend says before driving off "you lying to him now?" Em asks "oh well doesn't matter"i say. Em changed into one of my crop tops and joggers "so how long have you been dating him?"em asks "oh only about two months"i say taking a selfie of me,em walk over and gets in the photo "cute"em says "yeah"i say sitting on my bed. Em walks over and sits on my lap facing me "you okay?"em says grabbing my chin "yeah just so tired!"i say and she rubs my cheek slowly "let's go to bed"em says getting off my lap,i lay downing staring at the ceiling,em lays down on her side staring at me but I don't mind,i flinch as her hand touches my stomach,she moves her hand away "it's okay you just scared me that's all!"i whisper "sorry"em whispers "don't be"i say moving her hand back to my stomach before putting my arm under my head. Em begins to draw on my stomach I don't know why but I feel safe with her more than I do when I'm with my boyfriend. I feel myself drift off "night beautiful"em whispers just as I fall asleep
Noah's pov
Me,james and piper go back to james' house and i lay down on his bed "you okay babe?"james asks "yeah I'm fine"i say before he walks over and kisses my forehead begins kissing down my face and stops after he kisses my lips so he can continue changing.i love how affectionate james is,on the outside he just seems like he doesn't care about anything or anyone but in reality he is so sweet,my phone rings "hey mum everything okay?" I ask "yeah but Noah the police want you to appear in court for the sentencing of the shooter" as soon as I hear those words everything around me stops,it feels like I'm about to throw up,I drop my phone as I freeze!within seconds i feel james' arms wrap around me but I didn't care I was to busy trying not to break! "Hey miss erlick I'll make sure he calls you back"I hear james say in the distance when in reality he's right next to me "j-james"i mutter "shhh baby I'm here nothing will ever hurt you again"james says as i curl up into up ball. "I can take you home if you want me too"james says and i shake my head "look at me"james says "I promise you now I won't let anyone hurt you ever again"james says kissing my hands.i begin to calm down,james rubs my cheek "come on you look tired baby"james says,i lay down james does the same.i turn over facing the wall,james moves closer to me,i feel his hand move under my shirt before moving he is hand between my side and the mattress "as long as I'm here nothing will ever hurt you again"james whispers kissing my neck "I love you"i mumble praying to god he didn't hear that "I love you too"james says I eventually fall asleep.
The next morning
I wake up to see james still sleeping with his arms around me,i turn to face him and i kiss him,just as I pull away he grabs my shirt and pulls me back into the kiss making me smile "hmm mowing baby"james says rubbing his eyes "morning babe"i say before standing up "uhhh excuse me?"james says "yes?"I ask "where are you going!"james asks "getting changed and you have school"i say "you going to be okay here alone?"james asks standing up "yeah I'll be fine!" I say as james wraps his arms around my neck "promise?"james asks "yes I promise I'll be fine"i say kissing him again "hm I love you"james says "i love you too"i say sitting down on his bed.i watch james get changed.
Michelle's POV
I wake up to see em still asleep with her hand still on my stomach, i check my phone to see we have five minutes to get to school! I shake em "what?"em whines "we have five minutes to get to school!" I say getting up,em jumps up "I have no time get changed!"Em says "just wear that and brush out your hair"i say grabbing a top and black ripped jeans only to realise it's the same outfit as when the shooting happened "rich you up?" I ask knocking on the door "yeah"richelle says "amanda what about you?"I ask "I'm up!"amanda says and i see em brushing her hair out,she's so sweet! The door opens and I see my boyfriend "hey you"i say softly "hey babe we need to talk"my boyfriend says "what about?"i ask and em walk out obviously in my clothes "what is she doing in your clothes!"my boyfriend says "calm down she slept over last night"i say "I know I saw you cuddling her!"my boyfriend says "you came over?"i ask "yeah to check on you!"my boyfriend says getting angry "mich we have school!" Em mutters "yeah come on richelle and amanda come on"i say and they both walk out of the house and my boyfriend leaves. "Sorry about that"em says looking at me "it's fine"i say. We get to school "can we continue this conversation?" My boyfriend asks in front of the rest of a-troupe "yeah"i say opening my locker "me and or emily?" My boyfriend asks "you"i say "good choice babe"he says "oh no you didn't let me finish YOU need to leave because I choose em"i say,em puts my arm around her. I kiss her head "bro I can't believe you actually thought I would choose you over my wifey!"i say joking around "whatever"he says and we all walk off,i watch as em begin to rub my hand "yoo michelle?" James says bringing me out of my thoughts "uh yeah?"i ask "we are just saying how Um you and em would be cute together"james says "what no im straight"i say but i watch ems face drop "what's up?"i ask "nothing"em says bluntly "steph come with me?"em asks grabbing Stephanie's arm before walking off.
