We continued our walk until finally a young woman walked into view. She looked exhausted and almost bumped into me. Then we made eye contact and I knew that this was my chance. With one swift motion I stabbed her in the throat and caught her in my arms. Feasting on her warm blood.
"Marvelous." I could hear James say. He sounded excited again, and when I looked up from the young woman, I saw that he was staring at me with that lustful gaze once more.
He pushed me into one of the empty rooms and we continued where we had left of before.
He smelled of burned wood and death and I loved every second of being engulfed in that thick, suffocating smell. His eyes were dark, shimmering with a kind of lustful glare that froze the blood in my veins. The feeling of uncontrollable fear, that filled my gut when he landed on top of me, made my stomach turn with excitment. James looked derranged and almost as if he was about to kill me, but I trusted him to not do that.
The room was completly destroyed once we were finished. However, this didn't seem to upset James as he looked around and chuckled to himself at the state of the room.
"I'm so glad we have an eternity to spend." I said with a smug grin. James didn't say anything, but rather came closer and kissed me deeply, while roughly grabbing onto the back of my head.
"And I will make sure we'll spend it wise." He growled lowly as we parted lips. "But before that we need to get you some proper equipment." He said and held up his arm for me to take.
We stepped out of the room and I looked at the mess I made in the hallway. "Yeah. The scissors don't cut it for me." I said and smiled at my corny joke.
"What did you have in mind, darling?" James asked curiously while we roamed the halls of the Cortez.
"I'm not sure. I like Elizabeth's glove. But I don't know if that is the right tool for me." I said, thinking hard about what options I have.
"A killer is only as good as his tool will allow him to be." James said reminiscently. "I for one, never settled for just one weapon. I found the sheer variety to be too vast to choose only one tool." He continued proudly. "However, I must admit that Elizabeth might have more conversance with this particular situation." He added with a kind smile.
"Then I will ask for her advice aswell." I said and pushed myself closer to him with a smile.
