today i'm on set for a music video with this random tiktok star. i just blew up on my tiktok page and i got chosen to be his girlfriend in the music video.

i blew up for no reason! i guess because i'm super funny and i wear cute clothes? i have hot topic and zumiez to thank for all of my cute clothes.

i honestly had no clue who this tiktok star was until i looked him up after i got the music video job. his name is jaden hossler. i barely watch people's tiktoks. i often keep to myself on the app. i have no time for friends and drama. i have a busy life.

i juggle school, a job, a tiktok career, a club, jrotc, and soccer.

i was flown out here for this music video and for a photo shoot. i'm originally from y/s/n. i might move here to los angeles but i'm not sure how i feel about leaving my family and friends.

back in y/s/n, i wasn't the most popular kid in school but when i blew up on tiktok, lots of kids wanted to be my friend. it's truly sad. people will use you for clout.

i finally meet jaden hossler and him and i get to talk a bit and get more comfortable with each other before filming the music video.

"hi, i'm y/n!" i introduce myself.

"hi, y/n. i'm jaden hossler." he puts his hand out to shake mine.

"so this is the set, huh?" i look around at the nice set that we're currently on.

"yeah! i get to choose the sets and ideas for all of my music videos." he nods while looking around with me.

"i think it'll look great!" i smile.

"wait. aren't you the funny girl on tiktok? i've heard about you. everyone in my friend group loves your videos." he admits.

"oh really? never thought any big tiktokers would ever be a fan of me." i chuckle.

"i think you made that video about five things you should never say at a funeral." he says aloud.

"why is that the only video that you remember? plus, that's my most serious video." i cringe.

"i remember it because i said one of those things at a funeral once and then i felt bad afterwards for like two days." he laughs.

"fair enough. when's this music video shoot going to start?" i cross my arms.

"should be about five minutes." he looks at the time on his phone.

five minutes pass and we're in our positions for the music video.

there's a lot of close ups on me. i never thought people would ever see this close up to my face.

our kiss scene was powerful. he kisses me at the end of the music video to complete the storyline. his music video ideas slap. i watched a few of his past music videos on the plane ride here.

"hey, you did really good today, y/n." jaden comes up to me and praises me.

"not too bad yourself there." i poke him jokingly.

"smoothies on me?" he asks.

"are you asking me on a date?" i raise my eyebrow at him.

"sort of." he looks at me as if he's nervous.

"it's a date then." i confirm.

"can i get your number first?" he chuckles.

"oh! of course." i hand him my cellphone so he can copy my number into his phone.

"where are you from?" he asks me while typing in the number.

"i'm from y/s/n." i smile.

"it's beautiful there." he hands me back my phone and winks.

"tomorrow?" i ask.

"tomorrow at 2. i'll send an uber out for you around 1:30." he smirks.

"how do you even know my hotel?" i ask in a flabbergasted way.

"i'm jaden hossler. i know everything." he winks before walking away.
